Amazing
I had to "retire" my old Columbia jacket and it took me quite a while to figure out which one I wanted to replace it with. I picked out one of the best jackets EVER! It is very warm, in the cold weather we have been having. The only downfall of the jacket it does run a bit small. I am very happy with my choice and will always wear a Columbia! Nothing can compare to them.

Bugaboo
I love the color and warmth and it got here so fast I couldn't beleive it, but Friday night when I had it on I couldn't get it off as the zipper started coming apart on the bottom and I had to struggle to get it unzipped, now I am afraid to zip it up

Way too small. Returned already
I absolutely love Columbia jackets and the one I've had for 10 years finally had to be retired. It looked great but I was actually just tired of the color. I ordered this one and have already returned it. There is just something wrong with the cut of this unless you are super thin. I'm average and my old Columbia jacket was a medium. I went with a large on this one. It's really short. I'm 5'4 and it barely came below the waist on me, plus with the liner in it was very tight. Like all Columbia I think it would be super warm. But the arm seams were so tight there is no way I could wear this skiing or even over a sweatshirt. The length wouldn't work with ski pants (though of course would be fine with bibs) or for casual wear I want something covering my hips at least. My husband has the men's version and it is wonderful. I was terribly disappointed in this one though. Most women would be happier ordering the men's small unless you are going for the fashionable skin tight look. Not practical at all and if you are even slightly overweight I doubt you could wear it at all. In Virginia I like the 3 in 1 coats since so many days are above freezing so most of the winter I take out the linear. But as it's basically unwearable with the linear in, I'd rather get Slash n Dash, Alpine or Whirlibird.

It's a nice jacket
the jacket's color is some different of the picture, and it's darker. It's warm and fit me well. I like it.

Great in korea
For the unexpected weather here. It works great. It was negative two yesterday and I was still warm. The only thing is Im pregnant and won't be able to wear the coat for much longer. Tell me columbia when are you going to include a maternity section of coats that would be awesome until keep up the great work.

Disapointed
The first time that I put this coat on the zipper split from the bottom. In the past I have been very happy with the Columbia Brand but I would think again before purchasing another coat from them. Also this coat is not very warm.

Wonderful jacket!
Love the quality and the color, although for a medium, it fits a bit tight. The jacket is warm and waterproof, keeps me toasty warm on those very cold & windy upper midwest days. Buy one, you'll love it!

My daughter loves it!

Love my new coat!
This coat for true to its size and I absolutely love the interchangeable jacket inside. The jacket on the inside is plenty warm for cool to chilly days and for the days that it is very cold the entire coat does the job well. I would recommend this coat to anyone that like style and warmth mixed into one.

Good jacket for 30-40 degree weather
I wear this jacket in 30-40 degree weather just going to school/work (not for skiing). There are 2 secret pockets on the shell layer which is nice to have (one with a zipper one with velcro). The omnitech does its job, you can walk in a rain for hours and come out perfectly dry underneath. I'm 5'4" 105lbs and I bought a small and it fits great with a thick sweater underneath. It hits right below the hips.
CONS: I wouldn't wear the fleece layer alone unless I have something on top of it because they thought it would be a good idea to put the word "interchange" on the back of the jacket and I don't really like that. Also the zipper is pretty flimsy once or twice the zipper came undone from the bottom up. To fix that you need to unzip and re-zip the zipper. Also I don't like the pull strings that adjust the opening of the hoodie, they are not really secure and it can slip off in wind.

So good my friend wanted one too!
I wanted something versatile for fall and winter. This is the perfect jacket. Not too bulky, easy to pack, ready for any weather. When my friend saw it and tried it on she had to have one too. Raspberry color is beautiful.

Love it
Love the Bugaboo Parka; it's the perfect size, allowing enough room for a sweater/sweat shirt to be worn if desired. It's versatile, very comfortable, effective and easy to pack for long trips.

Bugabook Parka just gets better
I have had the 2000 version of this parka for the past decade and have loved wearing the liner and shell together or separately for hiking, biking, winter outerwear, just about any casual occasion. I decided it was time to get a new one and was most pleased to find this new version is waterproof - a very important factor in Portland, OR. The color choices are still outstanding and I expect to wear my new one for at least another decade - probably on a daily basis.

Great Ski Parka with removable fleece lining
This is a great Ski Parka with a removable fleece lining. It runs true to size and is very good in cold and warmer spring skiing conditions. The color is dark cherry with brighter raspberry accents- looks great! Great price, too

No more Columbia on-line ordering for me
Runs small, fleece jacket had 2 different types of material on it. I like a more traditional look. In any case, it cost $20.00 to ship back my husbands and my jacket to Columbia via UPS. From now on, it's LLBean for me

Can't always trust reviews!
After reading lots of reviews claiming this jacket ran really small, I ordered a large right before a big ski trip. The jacket arrived, and was ridiculously huge. I am 5' 11," and a size 10—in other words, not a tiny person. The sleeves were hanging three inches below my wrists, and I could probably have been seven months pregnant and still zipped it up.
I was able to get a medium rushed to me (and thanks to the wonderful Columbia rep who got me reduced shipping) just in time. It fits perfectly, even with two layers underneath. Even room in case one day I wake up with D-cups for some reason. LOL.
Love the zip-out fleece, though I don't love the weird shoulder pads on the fleece. But, I got the jacket for sports, not for city use, so I'm not that hung up about it. The color is gorgeous (black raspberry).

Great Product
This coat is great!! I use it everyday for just basic winter wearing. The fit was perfect and it is so comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone!

not recommending
I returned a jacket because of the zipper opening, the company sent me this one. Same quality but after a month again the zipper opens up. Very frustrating. Will not purchase another Columbia jacket and I have many fleece that I love. Is not meant for real cold weather.

Great Coat!
I use this coat for walking around on the University of Iowa campus. I am a person that gets cold very easily and I can honestly say that this is the warmest coat that I have ever had. I usually wear a medium, but thought that if I wanted to wear any sweaters under the coat I should get a large, so I did. I can still fit a thin sweater under the coat, but other than that, it does run a bit small. I would recommend ordering a size larger than you would normally wear. All in all, this is a great coat and I can tell that it will last a long time.

Great Jacket, Sizing is off
I really like this jacket. However, it was very difficult to find the right size. The large fit great but cut me through the armpits. I ended up going with an xl, but it is a little too big.

A Great Replacement
I bought this coat to replace one that was about 6 years old. I wanted something warm with a decent hood. So far it's been doing its job. It does run a bit small, but I think that's due to the removable fleece and not so much the coat itself. The only thing I don't like is I tend to have zipper issues if I try to zip/unzip it all the way up. But I do like the fact that the collar is so high that it reaches my nose and stays there without me having to jut out my chin.

mixed feelings
I have had my previous columbia jacket for at least 2 years of everyday wear. This jacket does not compare, the outer shell of the jacket is very thin and would be useless without the fleece liner for winter wear. The size does run small, no sweatshirt can fit underneath. If I didn't have another jacket to compare this one to, I would probably love it. But since it really doesn't compare to my older jacket, it's just okay. I am keeping it because it's a nice looking jacket, I like the color and it does keep me warm.

Too small for comfort
I tried this jacket on at the store and was very disappointed in the size. Like the Whirlibird, it runs extremely small. I am 5'3" and weigh 125. I normally wear a medium and I felt like I was stuffed. I could barely get the zipper up. The sleeves were way too long. I tried the large and extra large. They fit better through the body but the sleeve were too long. I am very disappointed. I was fully prepared to walk out of the store with a jacket and left with none.

Great Coat!
I love the soft fuzzy liner. I also really like the feminine styling. The only complaint is that for a longer styled coat (long enough to nearly cover my butt) it doesn't have a dual zip at the bottom for comfort when sitting or driving. It bunches up over my lap in the car as a result. However, I will be keeping this one and hope it lasts the 8 years my last Columbia lasted!

Returned
I was really excited about ordering this jacket but when I recieved it it was way to small and the color about burnt my eyes it was so bright. I have noticed from my son's jacket that the colors shown online are different then what you get. I actually just returned the jacket and am going to go in store to look for another columbia jacket, that way I can size and get the color I want.

A little disappointed
I have had Columbia jackets for years- my last "Bugaboo" I purchased in 2001 and it is still in "excellent" condition. This one- is very cheaply made. No extra pockets- just the two for my hands. No "two-way" front zipper- thin material on the inside jacket. Cheap velcor on the cuffs. It is warm, but not as warm as my 9 yr old jacket- and I am skeptical that it will last 1/2 as long.

great colors, small size
Runs extremely small! If you plan on wearing this coat over a sweater or a sweatshirt, you better order at least one size up. I normally wear a med to large shirt, and ordered a XL jacket and it was way to small! Colors look great, but sizing of jacket not very practical for winter time use if you wear more than just a tee shirt.

Perfect winter coat!
I wanted to reserve my judgment until it actually started to get cold here. I'm going to be taking this coat to my first 13er close to Leadville, CO, over Thanksgiving week so I might make an addition to my review after that.
It is extremely comfortable, well-made, and I love how the combination fuzzy interior and shell can be worn separately. I was a little afraid that the shell would be too thin, but it has a nice weight to it as well. Perfect for camping in the summer!
It does run a little small - I normally wear a size small top and got a medium to fit over sweaters, and the fit is a bit snug. That's not a real complaint though, and I love this jacket as a whole!

PERFECT!!!!
This is by far the best jacket I think I have ever owned. It's basically two coats in one, which I love, just in case it's not to cold or bad weather kicks in. I love everything about this jacket.

COLOR
The only problem I have with this coat is that the Deep Teal color is not really teal. The inside is a light teal but the outside is navy. Just thought people would want to know.

Amazing Coat
This was a great choice for a Michigan winter. I'm from Indiana and going to college in Michigan. I was told that my winter coat was not going to be sufficient for a Michigan winter. This coat is cute and warm. The fleece zip up that zips in and out of it is a plus too:)

Good Quality Coat
I bought a large coat and when I tried it on, It was a little snug just in the sleeves. At the waist, it was a little loose which is what I was going for so I could wear a sweater underneath it. Not sure how it will fit with a sweater but overall, it is warm and a good quality coat.
