After reading the reviews, I still went ahead and ignore what most of the others had said about the size and order my usual XL ! It seems 2 x sizes too big, which is really rare in my case. I ordered the colour Fossil and it is kind of a greenish-grey which is not really flatering for me. I returned the shirt. The shirt in itself is nice, just way too big.

Excellent quality; oversized!
I was extremely pleased with the quality of these shirts; however, it is essential to order a smaller size than one might normally. I am a size 8-10 and the Medium shirts were so large and baggy that I was unable to wear them. When smaller sizes (currently unavailable) are back in stock, I would consider reordering in a Small because the design, construction and material seem perfect for outdoor activities in tropical climates.

Functional and Fashionable
I purchased this shirt for use hiking and vacationing. I followed the other review recommendations and purchased a size smaller than I usually purchase - this worked well and the fit is great. I love the color (pink) and the fabric. I would definitely recommend this shirt. The fit and detail are such that it could be worn for casual dinner and outings.

Eddyline Shirts
I adore the fit of the Eddyline shirt. I fish in Grand Isle Louisiana every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day and these shirts are perfect for the hot and humid summer days in Louisiana. I do wish there were more colors available but that is the only suggestion I have.

Women's Basic Boat Shirt
I never had a chance to try on this shirt before I bought it and I very much regretted it. The shirt is pretty much a size large on me. Since I am still young I consider myself a small in may Junior size clothing and thiw was an extra large by those standards too. This shirt looks to be made great and would be awesome just the sizing was awful.

Best shirt in the tropics
My Columbia shirts are always my first choice for casual wear. We live in Florida and really need the "sun block" the shirts provide. Another big plus is how cool and airy they are. Both my husband and I have over a dozen Columbia shirts in nearly every color available. Also have both long and short sleve. Hey...we don't even fish but we work with our horses and love all the pockets which we use for everything from hoof picks to vaccination and medications. These shirts are perfect in fit and usability. It always seems there are more men's choices both in colors and style. We ladies like choices too. Eddyline remains my favorite fit and fabric.

Comfortable
I'm 5'6, 110 pounds and very lanky, i ordered this in xtra-small and it fits loose like a boyfriend fit, very similar to the fit on the mens shirts but i absolutly love it because it looks really good tucked in with a belt, as the shirt is very long, almost half way to my knees

Great Shirts
I love these shirts, have several of them. I like that some of the women's are now coming in the darker colors. I wear these year round, but enjoy them most in the summer. I live in FL and the shirts are so much cooler than others I have tried. They look nice with jeans or hiking gear. Sometimes, I even wear them to work.
