great jacket I bought this jacket along with the insect blocker long sleeve shirt and 1/2 zip for a trip to the Bolivian amazon. This jacket was amazing! It kept all the bugs away from my upper body, the only time I got bites was when I wasn't wearing the insect blocker products. I would definitely recommend the insect blocker line to anyone going anywhere there will be biting bugs! April 28, 2013
Mosquito Jacket I sent this back. A mosquito jacket needs to be loose to keep the bugs away. I'd ordered it for a trip into malaria country. I ordered it for the color and general style but when I received it I found it to be way too snug to be effective at keeping insects away from my skin. August 23, 2012
Very light weight, comfortable... no bug bites! Have not worn this garment extensively yet, but used it for a 1-week trip out of the country in early July in an area which I always get chewed up by mosquitos... this time no bug bites. does the job As a mosquito magnet, I was looking for something relatively cool to deter bugs off during evening walks when sun protection isn't necessary. This is doing the job and it has a hood to keep bugs off the neck and head. Although we do have biting bugs here in southern AZ during the monsoon season, it's not as bad as other more notorious places so I've not given it the ultimate test. It's nicely ventilated, fits well, and is even attractive. August 11, 2012

Bug Shield Mesh Jacket Living in Florida fighting biting insects is critical, especially mosquitoes this time of year. Bought for our daughter, tested on the 4th of July watching fireworks next to a fresh water lake and no bites!!! Love this jacket I was a little concerned this jacket would be too flimsy for hiking and camping, but it is very well constructed and the mesh is actually quite strong. I have worn it several times in woody brushy conditions and have yet to snag it. Also, I have not been bitten anywhere the jacket covers, which is great since I am a bug magnet and often get bites even when no one else does. I was bitten, however, on my thumb not far from the cuff, so you will still have to use bug repellant on bare skin. I am still happy not to have to use as much of it as I used to though, and still be cool. The hood is a great feature, no bugs buzzing around your ears!I love the fit and styling and feel like I could wear it most anywhere, just wish it didn't cost so much. July 1, 2012
Great light weight insect protection We live out in the woods and in the summer the bugs can be problem especially since I am allergic to deer flies and even have problem with mosquito bites. Bugs don''t come near me when I'm wearing this even when I am walking the dog. The mesh is great and I'll be able to wear it no matter how hot it gets. Love the bright colors for visibility. Keeps bugs at bay I have worn this jacket several times now and it is excellent. I can go walking in areas I never could before. The best part is how it keeps bugs away from my face. I don't have to use any type of repellent and it is very cooling. I can finally wear short sleeve tops (underneath the jacket) and not get one bug bit while doing so.
