My favorite jacket!
This jacket is so thin and light weight, but warm and cozy too. The special thermal lining keeps your body heat in and the cold wind out. It is thin and comfortable for everyday active wear.

Thus coat is definitely warm and not big and bulky.
I really like the coat although it does fit a little small. I just went up from a small to a medium. Also it has a great inside pocket for my cell phone which most womens coat do not have.

Great Coat
This coat is wonderful! I wore it in Chicago and it was so warm. It is lightweight but still is really warm and makes it perfect to travel with. It is worth the money.

If we had a real winter...
I love this new jacket. The color, although described as metal, is definitely a bluish green color, not a gray as I would suspect. I would have been really surprised by this had I not seen one in a store and fell in love with it. The online color is completely different to the actual jacket.
I really like the fit of the torso part of the jacket. The sleeves run a little snug so I can only wear a light sweater under it, probably not a sweat shirt or anything that heavy. Fortunately that has not been an issue because of the unseasonably warm winter we have had this year.
The jacket is super lightweight and not at all bulky. I really like the little details in the design . It adds a more feminine touch and I don't necessarily look like the StaPuft marshmallow man.
The lining is a little space age but it does its job to keep me warm.

Nice coat
Omniheat surprisingly warm, coat very lightweight. Coat is sized well through bust and hips but is cut very snug through the armhole/armpit area. It doesn't allow me to comfortably wear a hoodie or layers under it. I almost returned it for that reason, but the beautiful "storm" color, style and overall quality made it a keeper. I'm still adjusting to the attached handwarmers -- snugness can be annoying, but warmth is wonderful when it gets really cold here.
The almost hip length of the coat is great too -- short enough for ease of movement, but long enough for protection from the cold. Bottomline, I will wear it for outdoor walks, but not when I need layers. Great for commuting too.

Thin and keeps in the heat
I dislike wearing bulky coats in winter.So I bought this jacket and wore maybe a week,got into car accident and they had to cut it my clothes off.The first item I wanted insurance to pay for was this jacket.Its amazing!! Would recommend it to everyone!!

Order Two Sizes Larger for a better fit than I received!
I'm a Size 6 Petite. Ordered a Medium as warned. My Size 6.5 hands and 5 inch wrist struggled to get through the cuff with that gray snuggly thing I had to put my hands through. It was worse when trying to get my hands OUT of the cuff. The collar was way too long/high for me.
I like the idea, color and warmth but the sizing needs to be worked upon a bit better or Columbia will get MANY returns unless one orders 2 sizes UP.

Best All Around: Warm and Stylish
I really, really love this coat. I tried it on in the store and then tried to get it online...it was sold out everywhere until I found it on the Columbia website. It is very warm, yet extremely stylish and flattering--the cut and the lay of the design keeps the coat from being puffy. I love the handwarmers, the super soft lining in the pockets, and the soft grey fabric around the collar. I get very cold on a daily basis, and I can throw this on at work and still look great. It's lightweight, but keeps me warm even when there is a true chill in the air. I've joked around and said that I've even considered sleeping in it--it's that warm and comfortable. The truth is though, that if I could swing it, I would definitely buy a second one to have on hand...I love it that much. This coat is awesome. I don't wear it during my adventurous sports activities because I love it too much, but it seems really durable and I bet it would hold up if you were mountain biking, climbing, boating, etc.

Stylish jacket
This jacket was a post Christmas gift for my daughter who lives in Wisconsin. It was hard to choose a color, but ultimitely went with the gunmetal gray color. She's very happy with the gift.

Kaleidoslope II jacket
Love the jacket - not so happy with the Metal color. Thought it would be a gray color but not so much. It's green! Returned the jacket & got a black one. Very happy so far- it's really warm. Tons of compliments. I purchased size Med - I'm 5'4" 130#. Sweaters & hoodies fit fine with the jacket.

Lightweight and WARM
Great coat! I ordered the gunmetal color which is a nice grey-blue shade. Also love how it's not bulky, and has a feminine cut,but is still warm. Runs a little small, but its supposed to be fitted. I would recommend!

Love this jacket! Usually wear a Large but bought and Xlarge since I wanted to be able to wear over heavy sweatshirts and such. Fits nicely! Perfect for everyday use and for outdoor workouts. Wore it the other day on a hike, it was windy and about 23 degrees...the Omniheat was perfect, definitely felt the warmth!
If you want a sharp, casual jacket to keep you warm in Illinois winters, this is great. I really like that it isn't poofy like many similar jackets and it has flattering lines to give you some shape!

Keeping Warm
This jacket has been fantastic at keeping me warm. All jackets I have had in the past have been ridiculously puffy without a great deal of warmth. I love that this is comfortable and easy to move in without feeling like a marshmallow. I got the small and I'm 5'4" and 115lbs. It fits nicely and has good shape. I was worried about the wrist cuffs being too tight. They just took some adjusting to.
The jacket is nice and snug around most areas where cold would seep in except at the base. When a strong, cold breeze hits, jeez that can be chilly up the back. If there was some sort of elastic to pull snug around the waist, that would be ideal.
I would love to see a matching interchange shell to coincide with the color. After I got the jacket I realized once it rains or snows I'd need the whole interchange set. I've looked around but have yet to find one I like enough to spend the money on.

Warm and looking good!
I love this jacket! I usually don't go for this style of coat because I feel like I look like a marshmallow; this coat is thin enough that it is very flattering but still keeps you extremely warm with the omni heat technology. I really like all of the little details, from the thumb holes in the sleeves to the fur collar that is tall enough to keep the wind off of your face. My only complaint would be that if you have a larger chest it fits a little snug in that area and you might have to go up a size. (I also wish it had a hood) Other than that I love it and would recommend it to anyone!

Love This Jacket
Columbia has come up with a Jacket with a great fit and on that also keeps me very warm. It is part of the interchangable line which means it can aslo be warn with any of the shells from the same line. It very slimming and the color slection is great! I love it!

Great Winter Jacket
I have to say when I first opened this jacket and felt how light it was, I was skeptical about how it would perform in the cold weather. However, this jacket definitely exceeded my expectations like other reviewers wrote. It has kept me warm even while walking my dog outside in 20 degree weather for over a half hour. So, it it performing how I need it to in the cold, and the best part is that it is so light weight, comfortable and stylish. I don't look like a big puffy marshmallow, instead I look slim and in my opinion, quite good in this coat. My only complaint would be how the coat looks on the inside because it is a very bright and reflective silver that kind of looks like tin foil. Some of my friends laughed when they saw it, but I don't care because nobody really sees the inside, and it is that technology on the inside that is keeping me so warm!

great coat slow shipping
This coat is nice and warm without being too bulky. The worse part was the shipping.. it took FOREVER for it to come.
Runs small.. i bought large and I usually wear a medium, the changed to x large in case I needed to wear a sweater underneath.

Very light weight but warm!! Love it!!
I saw this coat in a store but they did not have my size so i bought it online and i love it. It is very warm--the lining seems like a little heater!! It is light weight and does not feel bulky at all. The sleeves seem a bit long with the finger holes in the extended sleeve part and the arm tends to come off inside out if you do not hold on to the sleeve when you take ur arm out. Overall, I love it!!!

Pleased Overall
Overall the jacket is very nice- lightweight yet warm. It will be good for most Colorado days. I love the metal color. The cuffs with the thumb hole are very tight and I'm hoping that they will stretch out a bit with wear to make it easier to get the coat on and off. The cut of the coat is wide at the bottom and there is no drawstring to snug up it up tighter. For winter sports, snow could get up under the coat. I wear a size 8 and sometimes 10 as my shoulders are broad and this medium runs a little small. It will accommodate light layering but not heavy sweaters, etc underneath. This is going to be an everyday jacket for me and I am very pleased with it overall.

Exactly What I Needed
This jacket kept me comfortable in the freezing temperatures in NYC in January. The temperatures got down to 16 degrees Fahrenheit while I was there, but with wind and other factors it was estimated to "feel like" 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Yet I stayed cozy in this jacket (I layered of course). I also found the third pocket on the inside very convenient for my wallet/keys/phone so that I could put my hands in the outside pockets. I am 5'7 and weigh approximately 120 lbs and ordered the size medium. It fit perfectly, providing a little extra room (for other layers or just simply for comfort) but did not make me look puffy. The jacket is not heavy or bulky and is also easy to move around in. It is absolutely perfect!

Great Coat, Tricky Fit
I love this jacket! It is very comfortable, and keeps me warm all day without being too bulky. I love the 'hand covers' that really keep the warm in around my wrists. The only complaint I have is the hips are the most fitted area of the jacket. The rest of the jacket is a little big, especially the upper arms. Just be aware of this before you order.

Outstanding!
This is hands down the best jacket I've ever had. The Omni Heat feature really works, it's stylish, the fit is good, it is lightweight and not bulky. The construction is superb and the rip stop fabric makes it go anywhere - the perfect cold weather travel jacket.

Did not repel rain
I bought this for my 29 year old daughter who wore it skiing on a day it was sleeting. She said she got soaked and will only be able to wear the jacket on days it is dry. She loves the color and style of the jacket, but is disappointed in the function. She normally wears a medium, but decided after trying it on in the store that a large would work best for her.

Wife loves it!!!
I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves everything about it. Keeps her very warm for such a lightweight jacket. It runs a little small so she recommends to get a size larger than you normally wear. She tried one on in the store before I ordered this. Quality is off the charts same as all other Columbia products.

Awesome coat!
This coat is very thin and light, but the omni-heat makes it SO warm. I'm always, always cold, and I walked for miles in winter weather wearing this with no chill. Also great: the thumb holes in the sleeve lining. Brilliant!

This Jacket is amazing and by far exceeded my expectations, the fit is perfect and it is stylish without being bulky. THE BEST JACKET EVER ---gotta buy this one!!!!!
I usually don't write reviews..had to on this one. I am a size XL and big busted-was on the hunt for a fushia pink , not puffy jacket ( who needs to look like a marshmellow). Know the quality of Columbia -I still have a jacket that is 20 years old.. for skiing. This jacket arrived and has style with the criss cross fabrication very flattering, fits just below the waist and covers perfect. Not a puffed up coat.. perfect with the silver lining for keeping me warm not hot. collar is faux fur that covers the neck. I have told everyone about this coat,,,,and have gotten so many compliments and I am 45 years old. Thanks for the perfect coat I will not buy from anywhere else again. WHOO HOOO COLUMBIA!

This jacket is extremely stylish. I loved the look but ended up sending it back because I needed something a bit heavier. Would be a great fall jacket. I found the sleeves a bit tight when I tried it on with a sweater, but it looks great on.

Best coat ever!
I love this jacket. The fit is really cute and love the cuffs for your fingers. I know when it gets cold this winter this coat will keep me warm. The cut is perfect and stylish for a down coat. Not too puffy,

Kept me warm!
Recently purchased this jacket before going to Jackson Hole for Thanksgiving. I was anxious to see how it would do and it out performed my expectations! The temperature in Jackson was single digits and I was always comfortable with this jacket on. I especially like how it's not bulky.

Cute!
I went to the local sports store and the style attracted my attention immediately. I tried on the medium ( I am a 10 top) and it was very snug in the arms. Tried on the large and would not be able to wear too much underneath. The XL was better but not sure which to purchase. Just beware it runs small.

Awesome Jacker
I live in North Dakota where, in the winter, it can be cold and snowy and down right misserable and this jacket has kept me warm! It fits great and is snug to the body and the arms with the thumb holes are great for keeping the cold out of gloves and mittens!! Would recommend to anyone!

Stylish Winter Jacket
Not too thick - not too thin. Blocks the wind - keeps you warm - WITH STYLE!! It is so hard to find a warm winter jacket that prevents you from looking overstuffed. This Jacket has the thumb holes that can be used or bypassed. Warm dot interior and hits around hip.
