THE BEST WINTER JACKET!
I absolutely LOVE this jacket. I was trying to stay away from the big bulky winter coats & after doing a little bit of research I decided to buy this one. It was a very good decision! It's very warm and comfy, a must have for very cold winters!

Beautiful jacket
I got this in the 'periwinkle' color, a factor which outweighs all others in my delight with this jacket. Everything was as other reviews said: lightweight yet warm (seals in the warmth), sleeves a bit long (but I have short arms), and sizing accurate. The only thing I'd change would be to make this color available in lots more items, like a longer jacket that I could wear more easily with my longish drapey vests and sweaters.

Mighty Lite II
I tried a large on at first. The jacket is 'fitted' and it fit perfect if not a little snug for my liking. If I had a long sleeve shirt on under this I would feel uncomfortable. I’m 5’9" 36-33 Torso. My arms are long. I chose the extra large and found the little bit more room I needed. The sleeve length was perfect and the extra large gave me some wiggle room.
I live in Flagstaff AZ and it gets in the negatives at night in the dead of winter. This jacket has prevailed in keeping the wind and the chill out. I hiked the grand canyon in a winter storm in February with this jacket on.( not my chose, it came out of no where :)) I was so hot, it was unzipped most of my time when I was moving. The thumb holes truly help keep the wind from blowing up the sleeve..LOVE THEM.
I’m still shocked at how such a light jacket kept me this warm. Omni Heat...it's the bomb. I'm sold. And the Red color is very attractive.

Light & WARM
It's amazing how warm this light little jacket is- you don't need layers. The only thing I wish it had was a cinch bottom so you can pull the bottom tight so air can't come in from the bottom. I highly recommend this jacket, it's worth every penny!

great jacket!!
I bought this jacket for wintertime activities in Colorado and it was perfect! It was not at all bulky, but provided a lot of warmth. I usually order a Medium and decided on the Large after reading other reviews and was glad I did for layering purposes. If you are not layering several pieces, then order your usual size.

Mighty Lite and Mighty Warm!
I LOVE IT! This is my second one, actually! I had to order this one because the store where I got my first one did not have any more...I had to give my first one to my daughter. She loves it, too! It fits great, washes easily, and really keeps the body warm and dry without a lot of bulky layers! It traps the heat that the body makes but it doesn't seem to get too hot like down can. I wear it horseback riding in the Northwest and my daughter uses hers at work with kids outside in a Montessori school in Texas.

Lightweight and fashionable
I wanted a lightweight coat that was warm. This is a warm coat, although not quite as warm as I thought it would be. I tend to always be cold anyway, but it's plenty warm if you are wearing layers and the temp doesn't dip too far below freezing. The fit is wonderful. I'm 5'2" and weigh 118 pounds and I have plenty of room in the size small with a t-shirt and hoodie layered underneath. The sleeves are a bit long, but I don't mind that too much. The cuff with the thumb hole is wonderful! The tailored fit is very flattering and I've recieved compliments on the coat. I got black, which tends to show dirt easily, but it wipes off easily, too, with just a damp rag. Overall, I'm very pleased with the coat.

LOVE IT!
I love this jacket!! Yes, fits a little tight but looks really nice. I really like that it is not bulky and still keeps you warm. I usually wear a large and that is what I ordered...a little tight throught back shoulders but otherwise LOVE how it fits! I want another one in a different color now!

Heat lover needs warm jacket
I live in Arizona so my need for a coat or jacket is rare. I had purchased a heavy coat about 19 years ago when I lived in Prescott and took it with me on a trip to Seattle for Christmas. What a heavy lug it was! I ended up wearing my daughter's Northface down jacket and loved it so my search began for a new jacket for my future trips. I originally bought my Mighty Lite at REI but the size options were limited. When it arrived, as I expected, the size small I ordered did not fit. I loved the color of the jacket, the feel of the material and the style and cut was very flattering. I wanted this jacket. I went online and ordered through Columbia even at a little higher price but worth every penny. The medium arrived, I slipped it on and fell in love with this jacket. The color is fantastic, I immediately could feel the warmth this jacket will provide for those cold for me Seattle visits I will be making. With a medium I can still wear a sweater although a tiny bit snug around my hips but the rest fits like a perfect glove. Anytime I order online I read the reviews both good and bad before I buy. I am very happy with my selection and looking forward to putting it to the test soon.

Not as warm as I would have liked
I've worn this jacket in 30 degree weather in the midwest. Thought the jacket was going to keep me warmer. I like the way it looks and it's comfortable to wear. Wore it today when I went for a walk and it was fine. The temp was in the 40's.

Love it!
Love my bright green new coat. I bought my 17yrs old daughter this coat but hers had the fur on the collar. I got the chance to wear hers a few days and loved the key hole openings on the sleeves and warmth without the bulkiness.
So I splurged and bought this coat for myself. It has many more colors to choose from and it has a slightly more fitted style at waist which I like. Very toasty and sassy looking.

Warm, but not bulky
I got this coat as a Christmas present and loved it the minute put it on! It's very warm and not bulky at all. The thumb holes work great keeping the cold Iowa wind out of my sleeves. I would highly recommend this coat!

Just what I was looking for!
I love how light this jacket is and yet it has kept me perfectly warm (so far). I do live in NC so winters here are not too demanding and this winter we've been on the warm side. Nevertheless, the jacket has done just what it advertises--keeps you warm when it's cold and cool when it's warm. Love the feature (thumb holes, inner pockets for cell phone, etc.). It does the job! Love the styling and have gotten compliments.

Love the color and style
I have purchased lots of columbia over the 50 years that I have been skiing. Good quality and reasonabley priced. This jacket is stylish. It is good for a warm day on the sloped.

Just right!!
I bought this jacket to wear to work & to walk the dog. It's just what I wanted! It's not bulky in the car & unless it's below freezing it's just right for walking my dog. I've received many compliments on it, especially the color (compass blue). I wear a sz 10 & I purchased a lg. It's not too big yet I can wear a sweater under it & it not be tight!

Very lightweight
This is a very lightweight jacket that does keep you warm. My only complaint is that it fits me a bit shorter than I had expected, but I do stay relatively warm without the bulk of a larger jacket.

Mighty Lite II is Mighty Great!!!
I received my Mighty Lite II and was pleasantly surprised! I had spent about 3 months reading reviews of various brands of jackets, and decided to go with a Columbia jacket...again. :) This is a fabulous jacket. Super lightweight, but super warm and comfy. I love the Omni-Heat lining, along with the inside/outside zipper pockets. But, I think my favorite thing is the inner sleeve that comes out that has the thumb holes. Keeps my sleeves from riding up when I'm having fun! Thanks Columbia!

Great for around the city
Warm enough for kicking around the city on mild winter days - if it was frigid, I would want more. The arms are a little long on me but the rest fits perfectly.

Lightweight but warm!
This coat is nicely tailored. I'm a medium with broad shoulders so ordered both the medium and large. The medium fit the best but left little room for layering. The large was roomier but arms way too long, so I went with the medium. Luckily, the coat is very warm and I didn't need lots of extra layers to keep warm on the slopes. The jacket seemed quite windproof. I understood that the coat wasn't waterproof, but would have liked a little more in terms of water-repellency. I threw a rain shell over it when the snow got really wet and was totally comfortable. The red is a nice dark shade.

Great slender and stylish fit, plus keeps me warm
I bought this coat because I am tired of big bulky winter coats that make me look fat. This coat is stylish and snug against my body plus keeps me very warm. Great to wear with jeans or black slacks. I also really enjoy the long cuffs with the thumb slot.

Great light weight, non-bulky jacket.

Very warm
I bought 3 of these jackets. One for myself and 1 each for my girls. We are in the barn for hours with our horses and the girls keep on saying how warm they are with only a light sweatshirt on underneath. And the jackets are not bulky at all. We love them. They are fitting to the body and do flare at the bottom a bit, so you want to make sure you order the right fit. We also love the hand warmers with the thumb opening. Great jacket for the price.

Women's Mighty Lite II Jacket
I like the idea of this jacket--warmth without the bulk. But there were a few things I wasn't satisfied with. The overall cut is flattering, but on the snug side. I generally wear a medium or large in other tops, but in this jacket, the large was snug with 2 light layers underneath. Also, it wasn't quite as warm as I had hoped. I wore it once outside when it was in the low 50's and that was comfortable--but I doubt it would be quite as warming in 20 or 30 degree weather.

Figure Flattering, Ultra Comfortable and Perfectly Warm
The MLII is amazingly warm for the weight. If you're looking for a sleek, stylish coat without a lot of bulk, this is it. The improvements, including full omni-heat lining, make this my new favorite winter coat. I normally wear a medium but bought it in large to allow for a few layers underneath. Didn't lose a bit of shape going up a size. Unless it dips below zero, this is the coat I will grab on my way out the door.
The cut is particularly flattering, slightly longer in back, which ups the girl factor and keeps that pesky draft from going up your back. Bought it in black for versatility. Going back next for Imperial (slightly more lavender and a little brighter in person than in online photo) or Red Element next. My only request: offer it in Chocolate and Graphite too.

The jacket is super warm.
I bought the jacket because I read meters in town and wanted something that would with stand the winds and cold and this coat seems to have fit that bill. I haven't had to use it for that yet but I have been wearing it for other things and it is really nice and warm and the winds don't go thru the jacket. The color was really hard to find but I love the orange. Well worth the price.

GREAT jacket
I live in the Pacific Northwest, where it is often too cold to go light but not cold enough to go with a down jacket. The Might Lite II looks very attractive, is very comfortable, and keeps me warm, which is amazing, because it's quite thin! I am really enjoying the lack of bulk. The sizing is accurate. I usually wear a Small, and that fits well. My shoulders are a bit on the broad side, and this jacket does not have wide shoulders, but it still fits through the shoulders well enough. I bought one for my mother, too. 'Tis the Season.

Fantastic coat!
I LOVE this jacket! It's SUPER light and deceptively warm for its thickness and weight. I love the extended sleeves w/thumb holes, all the zippered pockets AND the two inside pockets. The collar is also a nice height to keep my neck from getting chilly.
It has yet to get full-on Michigan winter here, so I'm curious to see how it will hold up to blizzard-like conditions with wind and all the insanity. I think it will do well!

WAY too Small
I purchased the same size I wear in Columbia's clothing brand and I couldn't even get the jacket zipped it was so small! Great jacket for a great price but I, apparently am going to have to go up at least one size!

Nice Jacket!
I ordered this jacket because I wanted something warm that wasn't too bulky. This jacket is perfect for what I wanted. The fit is very flattering and comfortable. I ordered the autumn orenge, and the color is beautiful. I do think it runs a little small, I orignally ordered my normal medium size but it didn't leave much room for a sweater or anything like that underneath. I exchanged it for a large, and I can't wait to wear it for hiking!

Love this jacket!
Overall I love this jacket. Love the Compass Blue color. Very light weight. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the fit. Normally I am a medium but the medium was a bit tight in the shoulders. When I went to the large it was way too big. I almost didn't keep this coat because of the sizing but I absolutely love this color.

A Bit Like Goldilocks
I purchased this jacket based on the durability of my two other Columbia jackets. I also purchased this size based on my two other jackets. I bought an XL and it was way too tight. I overcompensated by returning the XL and going two sizes thinking I needed that much room. WRONG! Now I'm swimming in the jacket even with a thick hoodie underneath. I'm debating ordering another one in a size smaller because I like it and the price that much. Maybe someone else can get some use out of the one I have now. I did wear it once and I'm pleased with the performance so far. It is a warm jacket without being bulky. It does a decent job of blocking out the wind. I'm not so sure this alone is my winter coat, but it's great for the chilly days. The thumb holes don't work for me; just got in the way. Looking back, it would've been better to go to a store and try it on, but live and learn.

love it!
This jacket is super cute and I love the soft cuffs with the thumb hole. It is also really comfortable. It is not quite as warm as other synthetic jackets out there (thus only 4 instead of 5 stars). It is however the most stylish one in my opinion in its class, as I tried on many others before choosing the Mighty Light 11 jacket.

Best Jacket I've Every Purchased!
Greetings from the Northwest! This jacket is perfect! Fits close to size, is lightweight (but warm), and is stylish. I'm a college student and spend a great deal of time outside waiting for buses, walking, etc and this jacket hasn't failed me. Additionally, I've gotten numerous compliments on color, fit, etc. Great product!

Just what I wanted
I wanted a warm jacket for southern PA winters without a lot of bulk, and this is perfect. I'm 5'2" and about 128 lbs and the medium fits very well. It's form fitting enough to look feminine but with room for sweaters underneath.
