Great travel pant
This pant is great, I travel overseas twice a year and this pant is great for comfort, color and fit. So glad Columbia sells long length for normal size women.

Love the style
I have a difficult time with the fit of Columbia Pants..they all fit a little different, these seem to run smaller than others. I am hanging onto them...they are my new 'goal pants'. I love the style and color and that they come in a Long length.

Nearly perfect pants
Love the fabric and features. The only improvement would be to shape them better for women. We have curves! Upsize and get a good belt.

Nice light weight
While it seemed a pretty tight fit for an average size 12 person, the construction and cut are nice without being dowdy. Would love to see this product offer some stretch.

Great season transition pants
Great pants but narrow in the hips. Fit me great because I'm shaped kind of straight. If you are a little fuller through the hips you may want to order the next size. I just love Columbia Sportswear!!!!

NOT "ROC"
The Willoedale's are good & fit well. However, they are a FAR CRY FROM THE "ROC' PANTS! I hope you are considering putting them back into your line of products.

These pants have an excellent fit.
I have four pairs of these pants. I work at a hospital and wear these pants instead of scrubs. They are very comfortable and have a much nicer fit than scrub pants. The fabric is very soft and durable. I'm 5'5" 118 pounds and a size 6 fits perfectly. I would definately recommend these pants.

Very Confortable and Looks Nice
I recently purchased these pants and they have quickly become one of my favorites. I was thankful for the person who said they ran a bit small. I am often between a 10 and 12 and the 12s fit just right. I like the way they look with sandals more than with regular shoes. Overall, a very good buy!

Weird fit
Had to return because they did not fit right.. I did order a size up based on other reviews (I'm ususally size 2/4 but had to order size 6). So the size was correct but the fit in the waist/hips was awkward and just not right.

True to size
At last! Pants that come in 3 lengths! I'm 5'1 and ordered the short length. I had to shorten it a little but then I'm longer in torso than in legs. Will be using it both around home and travel.

ok if you want a paper thin pant
Based on the "canvas" in the product description, I was hoping for a more substantial fabric. But it turns out it's a very lightweight pant.
As for fit, I would have preferred a narrower waist, a slightly higher back rise and a lower front rise. But that's me. If you have more waist fat than I do, you'll be happy with the cut. At least these pants do cover my butt, which is round with well-developed glutes. The legs are cut comfortably full.

LOVE these pants
I might have to order every color! These pants fit me PERFECTLY - not too snug, not too short (or long) - absolutely perfect. They are lightweight, but not too thin to wear on our chilly MN winter days. I love them!

comfort to be worn anywhere
The pants are comfortable, fit worked well, the short was the more appropriate lenght, will need to hem the regular length, but could only get peatmoss in R, good rich colors. I have four pairs. Well made. Material more for spring, fall.

I thank the reviewer that said to order a size up. With Columbia pants, I go back and forth between size 10 and 12.
I ordered the 12 and they fit perfectly. I am 5'8" and 150. Slender build.
I like this low rise because they are comfortable but don't slide down my hips when I am not wearing a belt.

I LOVE THESE PANTS! IN FACT, I AM WEARING THEM AS I WRITE THIS...COMFORTABLE, GREAT FIT...NOT TOO BAGGY, NOT TOO TIGHT ...LOOSE BUT STILL FITTED AND FLATTERING, IF THAT MAKES SENSE. THE COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL...JUST LIKE ALL OF COLUMBIA'S STUFF! THESE PANTS LAUNDER WELL...I DESPISE IRONING, AND THESE PANTS DON'T NEED TO BE IRONED (UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY FUSSY). THESE COME OUT OF THE DRYER LOOKING GREAT...JUST WHAT I LOVE!!! THEY SIT JUST BELOW THE WAIST, SO THEY DON'T LOOK "FRUMPY". GREAT POCKETS, TOO. WAY TO GO ONCE AGAIN, COLUMBIA!!! P.S. Good pants, small fit
I like these pants because they are not to clingy in the legs. A lot of other active/outdoor pants I have tried are cut tight in the thighs/legs, but these are more like a "trouser." The material is also nice because it doesn't feel nylon-ish like many other outdoor pants. In addition to outdoor activities, you can wear these for normal activities in an urban environment and not look like a lost hiker! Be forewarned that these pants run small. I normally wear a 12 or sometimes a 10, but had to get a 14 in these.

Weird Fit
I want to like these pants- they are lightweight, a great color, and come in a 'long' option. I am 5'9'', 130 pounds, and leggy- I purchased a size 4 thinking perhaps it would be too large if anything. Turns out, they were really tight around my butt (which isn't that big!) and loose everywhere else. The length is great for me. In most Columbia pants, I wear a 2 or a baggy 4. I can't recommend these unless you have a nonexistent butt!

gift to my wife of 36 years
Fit was great, product was what she was looking for. Color was not, she wanted dark blue, listed blade as a color. As a man i know blue, black, brown, grey, tan. Guess i don't know what a blade color is. She plans to return them and buy blue from another manufacture as she already owned the grey and black willowdale's.

Didn't work out
I'm 5'6", 140 lbs. and wear a size 10 in most brands. The size 10 in the Willowdale technically fit, but it felt uncomfortably snug in the butt, hips, and thighs. I ordered the size 12 hoping it would fit, but it was too loose in the hips and waist, though the legs fit better.
The Willowdale has no stretch to the fabric, which adds to the discomfort level when they are tight. The fabric is nice and thin and good for warm weather, but it is very "crinkly," making noise as you walk and move. The black is not a deep black.
I really wanted to like these pants and make them my "official" lightweight, summer pants, but they're not "the ones."

Better for those without hour glass shape
These light cotton pants fit great everywhere except the waist area where I had a bit of a 'muffin top'. I am 5'5 and 145 lbs and the 10 fit great everywhere but right at the waist. I am leary to put them in the dryer, but the style and length was good. Not the best pair of pants in my closet, but worth having for work or casual days.

I have worn Columbia brand pants for several years. I really appreciate the longer inseam. Columbias fit me to a tee.

Willowdale full leg pant
Beautiful pant, but I am not a fan of the lower waist. I may have to give them to a daughter. Sorry about that waisline. We aren't all willowy or dainty, even if we are trying to stay active and fit!

perfect
I have a smallish waist and biggish hips. These do not make that weird gap and they sit in just the right spot. Not mom pants, but not plumber's either! ;)
I'm 5'8, which can make it very difficult to find pants that are neither too short nor too long. These are completely true to size, a perfect weight, light but not at all flimsy, and super comfortable. Yay for awesome pants. The mud color is my fave, just got the greenscape, which is darker than pictured, a tad bit "green" at the moment (duh)...not sure if it will fade, but if it does, it will be even cooler. Love love love these pants. They must remain available for ever!

Hopeful and mostly satisfied
I'm not convinced that the Willowdale will make my "tried and true," however, they will certainly not end up "tried a few times and then, off to Goodwill!" They do run small, but one alarming feature is that different colors fit differently. I had to return one pair because it was not a comfortable fit, same size but different color than the others. Another concern is that I was trying to supplement two pair of Columbia's that are heavier material and I have not been able to find them anywhere. The Willowdale is for summer wear only -- at least, in North Central U.S. -- and, for me, that is a problem seeing as summer lasts approximately three months here.

A little tighter than I like.....
Over all a soft pant. I went by the measurement guide to get the correct size. In most pants I wear a 14 but by the sizing measurements I was a 16 so that is what I ordered and they fit....just a little snug. The more I wore them the more comfortable they were.

Nice pants.
I like these pants. The waist was a little larger than I expected, but they are nice with a belt.The fabric is very soft - it feels a little thin now in the midst of winter, but I think they will be perfect in the spring and next fall. I liked that I could pick a shorter length. I'm 5'2'' and pants are usually much too long.

Husband who shops for Wife
I love buying clothes for my wife. As she is hesitant on what to wear I eliminate that doubt by getting COLUMBIA clothes for certain occasions.
This one fits her perfectly, well molded and comfortable. When firends and family praised what she is dressing is a comforting sign she is happy wearing it and a nice feel having made the right decision :-)

Love them!
I have a small waist, and these pants fit perfect. (for those choosing sizing, I usually run sizes 0 to 4 and these are size 4, I'm 5'5, 120 lbs). Fabric is soft, very comfortable, minimal shrinkage after washing. They look sharp, but are very comfortable.

nice fabric, but unadjustable waist
I use a few pairs of Columbia pants for many years - great quality. But they seems to fit better before. I am kind of curvy and always suffer from wide waist line which creates "air pocket" at my waist specifically at back side. These pants are very light, very pleasant quality, but waist is bigger at 2-3 inches than I need. Where these designers saw such a square figures? It will be good to have at least little opportunity to adjust waist length. I need to make little alteration.
