Love this Jacket
This is an amazing jacket that performs very well. I'm typically wary when it comes to waterproof breathable jackets. I find that there is a point where the garmet gets wet. I've worn this jacket walking in the pouring rain for miles and have stayed dry.
This is the second Arcadia jacket I've purchased because I wanted it in another color. One of my favorite jackets. A must have!

Fabulous Coat that Keeps Me Dry
I bought this rain coat after what began as a very rainy spring. The Arcadia Jacket is both stylish and functional. I'd recommend to anyone. After purchasing my mom is now looking at buying one also.

Again, a little tight.
I am 5'7" and 150 pounds, and because of other reviews, ordered the XL. I like the lines, it fits form, but it is a little tight across the shoulders when wearing a sweatshirt underneath. Otherwise, it seems durable, eminently practical, and I expect to make much use of it! I'm using it not only for travelling but for sitting at the Farmer's Market on damp and chilly mornings.

Napoli Cruising'
Wore this on a cruise to the Napoli coast last evening. Kept me well protected from the wave splash and wind. Light and comfy, so happy I bought it.

Lightweight goodlooking raincoat
Comfortable, functional, packable. Not made to be warm, that is for underneath layers. But I see that as an advantage because it is easy to get overheated when walking on a rainy day that is not cold.
Runs small—I ordered an XL to allow for layering, ended up with 2XL.
Mine's elderberry with fuschia trim, I like the color.

Love Love Love this jacket
Love the Arcadia Rain Jacket - It is just as described online! It's light weight but cuts the wind and keeps me dry. I could have fit into the large but ordered the extra large so I can wear a hoodie underneath if I choose. Also I am 5'9" and sometimes have problems with sleeve and body length but this jacket fits great! Oh, and the Meadow Green is sweet!

This jacked has a beautiful design and quality. However, I had to return it, as the fit through the armholes was too tight. I am a regular size 14 and bought the XL size.

Warm weather perfection
In the gulf coast, hot and humid rainy days are the worst. Heavy, thick rain jackets make the muggy days seem 10x worse, but the Arcadia Rain Jacket is light enough to keep me cool and dry on those nasty days, yet also blocks wind on the chilly, windy, winter days. It's an all around perfect rain jacket for the southeast gulf coast.

Arcadia rain jacket
I love the color and style of this jacket. As I have yet to test it on a very rainy day, I gave it a a good rating in function and overall ratings. If it is as waterproof as my last jacket, I would raise both those ratings to excellent!

Arcadia Rain Jacket
I ordered this jacket for an upcoming trip to Alaska. Received it in a timely matter. Love the color!! I had previously gone to a local store and tried on various sizes so I knew which size before I ordered. However, the store did not have my color, so I ordered online. Construction is very good and so is the feel inside. It is very lightweight so will be easy to pack. Zippers and pockets all work well. Love the little built-in visor in the hood. This will keep the rain off my glasses. Just wish it had a way to roll up the hood when not in use. Other than that, I am well pleased with this jacket.

best rain jacket ever
I recently bought this because my north face rain jacket just wasn't cutting it. It's amazing, I go to school where winter is all rain and this jacket was the best investment! My only problem is that the arm length is slightly too long for me, but other than that it fits great!

Great lightweight rain jacket
I'm an outdoor educator so I'm outside a lot. I needed a light waterproof jacket that I could wear over a few layer or by itself. This jacket has been great so far. I ordered one size bigger so it would fit over sweatshirts and it fit perfectly. It's also not too bulky by itself. So far I've had no problems with leaking and it breathes well. I love this jacket and will be purchasing more products from Columbia in the future.

Good basic rain shell
The Arcadia jacket seems to be a good basic rain shell, well constructed and with a more flattering cut, both waterproof and breathable. I have paired it with a Benton Springs fleece hoodie as a liner layer, which works well except that the rain shell sleeves are cut slim and makes the fleece sleeves feel a little bulky and tight inside them. Additional features I wish it had: pit zips and adjustable drawcords inside the waistband (for better fit and keep out cold air) and on the sides of the hood (better peripheral visibility).
I love how the hood is cut long enough in the neck to leave hat room without pressing down on the top of the head (pet peeve).

great shell
This is just a shell, but is great if you are looking for a minimal waterproof shell. Living in the pacific northwest this gets used a lot and my wife loves it. The sizing is as I think a jacket should be - order the same size of this jacket as you would a sweatshirt (even if you plan on wearing a sweatshirt underneath).

Looks good, feels good.
Love the fit. Keeps rain out well, zipper can be a little finicky, but works great once you figure it out. Hood blows off, but other than that it's just fantastic. Wind, rain... Can keep in sweat but in conditions where I use it, it's okay still.

Great For a momma on the go!
Can I just say that I buy all my Columbia directly from this website because the customer service is great! This coat is awesome for running errands with the kids when I don't want something bulky and I can keep on while shopping or getting caught in the rain! Im 5'6'' 145 lbs got the large and fits great! Not bulky has great shape!

Product is perfect if you need a jacket to keep you dry
This jacket is very light and isn't warm, but it definately serves the purpose of keeping you dry. I bought this jacket for my daughter for her birthday. She needed a new lightweight rain jacket to keep her dry for her job which requires her to be out in the rain for short periods of time. She loves Columbia Sportswear jackets and I was pleased that I was able to find the perfect jacket at a very reasonable price. I could have bought this from Amazon or other websites on the internet, however Columbia Sportswear's return policy and low shipping costss (if you signup with them) sold me on buying directly from them. My daughter loves this jacket and couldn't be happier.

Great in the rain
I love my rain coat. I have lived in Oregon all of my life and this is the first time I purchased a rain coat. It keeps me dry and warm. I am anemic, so I do need to wear a sweater underneath my coat to keep me warm. The coat is a little snug when I wear my phone case on my waist. My only recommendation would be that the company add a little more width to the jacket so that people can wear phone cases and even slender purses. Nonetheless, I am happy with my purchase because it is great in the rain. Also, I am 5'3" and 125 pounds and a small fits great on me.

Best Choice
Lately it has been rainy and windy so using an umbrella is practically useless. When I bought the coat, I was concerned it was going to be too big (I ordered a large) but when I tried it on, it was almost perfect. It was a little big but it allowed me to where something under it if it got too cold. It has great pockets with zippers on them to keep things dry. It also has a bill on the hood so when it rains really hard, the rain doesn't get in your face. I will continue to buy from Columbia!

Impressive Raincoat
I purchased this coat for my girlfriend. She travels by boat everyday to an island to work so seaspray and the elements are an everyday occurence. The coat fits very well the colors and fabric are excellent. She looks Fabulous and now she's dry and comfortable. Thanks for a Great Product !

Well-designed
A well-designed, light-weight, windbreaker and rain jacket. But now I need a good downpour to see if it is as waterproof as expected. Interior, zip pocket in the chest is a great feature that is easy to overlook. Velcro tabs at the sleeves and an adjustable elastic cord at the bottom allow me to adjust the fit depending on whether I wear multiple layers beneath it or just want more air circulation.

Great all around jacket!
I bought this jacket for my daughter in Texas. They get the torrential rains and this jacket definitely keeps the rain at bay. It is great for any type of weather : keeps out the wind, not too heavy, fits great and she can wear a sweat shirt underneath if it's chilly. She just loves it!

Not what I was looking for
This jacket is very nice and I loved the bi-blue color combination that I selected. This one was too light-weight for me. In trying to avoid a fleece-lined medium weight coat, I selected this one. I was looking for a parka-like coat, not down-filled, in blues to wear as an all-round, knock-around coat with jeans, etc. In deciding to return it, I elected to visit an outlet store nearby and found the coat I really wanted for the same price: a 3-in-1 Bugaboo parka coat with a zip-out liner and detachable hood, which just happened to be on sale.

Women's Arcadia Rain Jacket
I was looking for a replacement for a Columbia jacket that I bought about 8 years ago. This looked like the same thing so I ordered the same size, which also is my size on the chart. I am 5'3" and I weigh 115 pounds, I have a small 32" chest. The new coat is much smaller. I put it up against my old coat and it must be about 8" narrower through the shoulders! I like to wear this jacket in all seasons, alone and over layers. When I put this jacket on over my fleece, it is too tight in the shoulders. I didn't realize this until I had worn it a few times, so I will just keep it and wear it over thinner layers. I would like to indulge myself and buy a Medium, also, but I 'm not sure if I will.
One thing I like about this jacket is the bill on the hood which helps protect my face in the rain. My old jacket lost its waterproof- ness pretty quickly (one year) and I hope that this one lasts longer.
So, I recommend the coat, but keep in mind that it runs a little small in the shoulders for fleece layers.

Women's Arcadia Rain Jacket
Fit is great and can accommodate a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. Haven't tried it in the rain yet but it's waterproof under my kitchen faucet. It gets 4 out of 5 stars because I haven't fully tested it yet.

This jacket was actually purchased for my 19 year old daughter for her birthday. She had wanted a NorthFace raincoat until she saw this one. She loved the two tone colors- navy and white. The fit is perfect and it is also a comfortable weight, not too heavy, and quality craftmanship. She loves everytning about it!

This Jacket fits great!
I am a little hard to fit sometimes because of mid section. BUT the Arcadia Rain Jacket fits great through the mid section. I can zip it up and still be comfortable without feeling like I am going to bust out of it. I love it for running. It's just the right weight.

The Perfect Rain Jacket!
Bought this for my wife and here is her take on it: makes one feel confident and comfortable. love the color combination! the fit is just about right, wish it was a little more roomy though...but one size up and the chest/shoulders will be become loose. Perfect if you are going to leave it open, but looks good even if fully zipped--with not too many layers inside thought else it will get tight. Good for fall, makes for a nice casual look and also can be ready for the rain. Wore it to Niagara Falls in the cold and rain...served me well. Thanks!

Finally!
I have been searching for a good rain jacket for about 2 years, and I've had problems with everything from letting the rain in so that it soaks my skin, to not being breathable enough. I walk around my university campus all the time, so it's imperative to have a good rain jacket. This one has worked! It keeps me warm enough in cold rain, as long as I wear enough underneath, and it doesn't look bulky. It's fitted, but slightly loose, which I was looking for. It also hasn't made me sweaty! I wear rain boots with it usually, which are very insulating and can make the transition from outside cold weather to inside warm rooms rather uncomfortable, but this jacket has been breathable so that doesn't happen. I love it! The color might be somewhat lighter than what I thought, but I like that as well. Overall, a great jacket!

I get compliments on this jacket all the time. I'm a college student and just needed to stay dry on campus. It does great. No complaints at all.
I wear it when I go hiking too.
It's not insulated but I kinda wanted that. So I went a size bigger, knowing I'd be wearing sweatshirts underneath. Glad I did so.

Worth it
I got this for a really good deal (around $35). It's certainly worth that amount. The material itself is excellent, very water repellant. I used it today, all day while it rained in N. GA. I was wearing a cotton t-shirt and I didn't get damp or wet at all. The temperature was high 50s to high 60s (when the sun was coming out). I was a little too cold with my short sleeves underneath.
One complaint, the zippers need to be taped. Although, the front zipper is well covered and it's not a problem with that one, I'm worried about having my cell phone in my pocket.
Overall 4.6 out of 5.

Perfect rain jacket!
I just ordered and received this jacket last week in the teal color. The color is beautiful and everyone always comments on it. I am 5'8" and 145 lbs and usually take a medium in tops however I was a little worried about the length of the arms but I ordered a medium anyway. I'm so glad I did! The sleeves have plenty of length and even a bit more without being extra long. It is roomy enough to wear layers underneath but it still has a feminine shape at the waist so you don't appear to be a box. It is a nice, lightweight jacket. My only complaint is I wish the hood was a bit more sturdier or thinker material because every time I put it on it tends to fall right back down just by walking. Other than that it is a great rain jacket.

I like it more than I thought I would
I just bought this item and I should have gotten a medium instead of a small, as it is a very slim fit. Nothing more than a light shirt fits underneath it for me. But I do like the feel of the jacket a lot and it kept me dry walking the dogs last night. And it is a great looking jacket! A good product for the price, I think.

Great Jacket
I saw this jacket in Dick's but they didn't have my size so I decided to order it off line. The color is perfect and so is the fit, I would say that it is definitely true to size. I have only used it once but it is a nice light weight rain jacket.
