I need more stars! I was a bit skeptical when I bought these for a 6-week trip to France but they have turned out to be the absolute best pants - ever! I am tall (5'6") and slim (130) so the M fit perfectly - not always true for size M as my hips and thighs are slim. These are great pants for travel and everyday. They fold up into a very small packable space, do not wrinkle, are stain repellant, shed water, and even after 8+ hr plane rides still look fresh. I love these pants and wish they were available in more colors. May 25, 2013

Comfy yet defining I wear these in the Mojave Desert hiking and up in the Sierra San Pedro de martir mountains in Baja California. From hot to cold, they are the most comfortable pants I own . I'm a larger size but they are very flattering to your figure. I often need to transition from the field to the office, and these pants also look smart in meetings/at the airport. May 5, 2013
nice walking pants I like these, they're perfect for walking, a little more thought out than just yoga pants. I have a rounder-than-average butt and they fit my butt just fine. Yay...I like the mini pocket on the thigh but I would prefer two zippered hand pockets instead or in addition to that one pocket (hey designers, take notice). The inseam is a little short compared to other brands, if you are tall, go ahead and order the long version. April 7, 2013
All around town pant. This pant has a classic fit that can be worn anywhere. I have worn them to work as well as bike riding and walking. Wonderful material that needs little or no ironing. I will buy again! February 26, 2013
Great look, great comfort I agree with other reviewers that these pants flatter the rear end as advertised and also that the crotch length is a bit shallow. I will be wearing these with tunic tops or other loose-fitting yoga tops, so that is not such a big problem for me. The fabric definitely doesn't bag or tug or snab - so far at least. Not as expected I received these pants, and in trying them on they seemed OK. When I wore them they "pooched" over the thigh/hip region. Since I wore them I can't return, but not happy with product. December 29, 2012
Disappointed I recommend these with the caveat that they run small.When I ordered the pants, the only "regular" length available was an XS. I thought that would be perfect because I normally wear 0-2, and a 2 is usually too big.When they arrived, I liked everything about them except for the fit; they were simply too short/revealing in the crotch. It wasn't the rise; it was the crotch length.So I sent them back. If a Small-Regular becomes available, I'll definitely order them. Imho, they can be dressed up or down. December 8, 2012
more like a yoga pant Smooth, stretchy, only one pocket on the left thigh. They are comfortable, but kind of revealing IMO. The fabric is light but strong enough for hiking. The straight leg pant is kind of bell bottom, more than I expected.I like them but prefer a tunic top over them. Still, I like them a lot and wear them often.I'm 5'2" and like the short length. Great fitting, great looking, comfortable! These pants look great and are superbly comfortable. The are great dressed up for around town and getting dirty on the trail. They dry quickly and breathe well. True to their name, they make you butt look great and ride the hips just at the perfect spot. Not to low or too high. If you're a little wider at the waist, the wide waistband does not bind or pinch.One pocket on the left leg at hand level holds lip balm or a snack, but it's a little awkward for heavier items like a smartphone.The only way Columbia could improve these pants would be to add a little microfiber on the the inside of the waistband to spread out sweat. My Favorite Pants I absolutely love these pants--I already bought a back up pair in case they change them in the future. The fit is great--snug in the waist and comfortable through the hips and thighs. The back also seems to be cut a little higher which is really nice. I love that they come in lengths. The weight is great for fall and cooler temps. I have worn them climbing a bunch and they have held up really well. Great fit, really nice cut, durable and a great fabric. Wouldn't change a thing. Inconsistent Fit I have 3 pairs of similar "back up" pull on pants that I LOVE the fit of -- but I'm a petite and had to shorten every one of them. I was very excited to find that the Back Beauty pant was available in a short length but was disappointed that the fit was so far off previous purchases. The waist is smaller and overall the fit is closer/tighter. So frustrating to have the fit on such similar items differ so dramatically! November 19, 2012

Amazing Pants! I want to start by saying that I am 5'11" and generally cannot buy pants that are not tall length so I was nervous to buy these in the regular length but they fit perfectly. I generally wear around an 8 so the medium fit great. Great wearability to dress up or down and not feel like I am walking around in sweats on the weekends.
