Product Size Inconsistent This is a nice vest and I have three I previously purchased and wear all the time. It wears well and washes up nicely. I have two in size 2x and one in size 3x that I purchased at a local store. I decided to check online for one in a different color. I was excited to find the same vest in multiple colors. I ordered a 3x, but when I tried it on, it was smaller than the size 2x and 3x I previously purchased. Columbia is such a nice quality, so I was disappointed that the sizing wasn't consistent. The size may have been marked incorrectly on this particular vest, but I will not take a chance in ordering another one due to the high cost for return shipping. March 21, 2013
Awesome I have a hard time finding vests like this that are long enough. I purchased two of these and I am very happy. The lengh is perfect! I also like that the pockets have zippers. I will definately recommend this product to others. March 21, 2013

Awesome Vest Love the bright color and the roomy fit of this vest. I wore it to an outdoor MN wedding in October and I was very comfortable with the weight and softness of the vest. Cozy and comfortable Since I had purchased a Columbia Vest that has since been discontinued from last year, I decided to try the Benton Springs Vest. It was almost the exact same one I had previously purchased.I decided to take a shot and I purchased three. I love them and might purchase more.The weight is just right for my walks in the park around the lake where it can be a little chilly. I use them in the car and don't feel like I have a bulky fabric on my back or arms. I don't get overheated, yet I don't feel the cold. I would highly recommend this item. The only objection I had was the cost at this time of year. They should have been discounted for the spring being I had to pay more already for the extended sizing. April 8, 2012

Looks better than it feels I had a Columbia Fleece vest that I LOVE ... So thought I would get a couple more, but these do not fit the same - longer in the body, so it buckles and the zipper makes a bump in the front when I sit, but happens even if I fold it under before I sit ... A little too wide in the shoulders ... Fleece material feels different to the touch, like running my nails on a chalk board ... Well constructed with nice features, but just does not fit me right ... I guess us 2X people are just not as tall as we should be ... I wore them both, so now they are mine February 13, 2012
product is sized large I have other Columbia vests in 3x and they fit perfectly - thisparticular vest is sized very large - I was swimming in the 3x.I wish that you would keep your sizes consistant so we know what we are getting whenwe order. February 2, 2012

Way too large. Sent it back. I was initially disappointed that some of the more shaped items were not available in extended sizes. So without much choice I ordered this one in a 1x. I had tried on one of the more shaped vests in a store and the xl was way too small. As I feared, this vest was shapeless and at least 5 inches bigger at the waist than the xl in the store that had a band at the bottom.I think you need to have larger women designing your larger sizes. There should not be a 5 inch difference between one style xl and another style in a 1x. September 17, 2011

vest I bought this vest to take on an Alaskan cruise, to wear over long sleeved shirts etc. I love the zippered pockets and the inside pockets as well. I will not have to take a purse with me which I like when I sight-see. I picked white because it goes with everything. My only problem is that plus sizes are not available in most stores. How to measure
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
