Great colour I love the fit and the color of this shirt--very pleased with both. I didn't give it the highest rating as I haven't returned to TZ to try it out in malarial areas. I hope that the wicking function is good as long sleeves in the heat can be a bit trying but it seems like a good weight for the tropics. June 21, 2012

Good functional shirt I purchased this for a trip to an area with lots of insects so hopeful it will work as advertised. I know that Columbia manufacturers well constructed products so I am confident of this product. The shirt is lightweight, looks good but runs a little small, would advise that you order one size up from your normal size or use the sizing chart. This shirt should be great for traveling. I like the fact that the sleeves can be rolled up if needed and still be attractive. May 31, 2012

A shirt for all seasons. Great shirt for traveling, hiking and kayaking. Washes well, packs well and looks good. Material gives it a "solid" feel and definitely lives up to its claims. The sleeve tie ups are a good option for long or shorter sleeves so you can adjust for the environment. December 7, 2011
Purchased for a gift. I purchased the shirt for a gift which I won't deliver until Nov. 16th in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm hoping it will fit her and that she likes it. Exceeded Expectations Columbia sent me a Bug Shield shirt for testing purposes and test it I did. I covered half my torso with the shirt and sat in the July sun from noon to 1:15 to check the SPF claims then I washed the shirt 5 times and wore it in my mosquito infested backyard. My results: my unprotected skin turned light pink from the sun while the skin under the Bug Shield remained unchanged. The backyard mosquitos attacked my feet and avoided the Bug Shield so I wore it again for a picnic two days later. My daughters were plagued by nats and asked to borrow the shirt for relief. All agreed that it kept the nats at bay. I like the styling, but don't care for the synthetic feel of the fabric. The moisture wicking property made the shirt more comfortable than I expected but it's not going to be my first pick for a July afternoon. Overall, it IS going to be my first choice for future spring/fall hikes. August 2, 2011
Be careful with washing I like this shirt and does seem to protect against mosquitoes, but take care with washing it. I followed instructions and still have blotches of white where the color seemed to bleach out, on my beige colored shirt - making it useable only around my house. July 17, 2011
What is up with these colors? I'm 5'8", 145#, busty, usually wear a large but had to get an XL in this shirt to give me a looser fit on my 42 B's. The bug shield characteristic partly attracted me to this shirt but the feminine seaming is what sold me on it. Its really an attractive shirt on and the tails are just right, not too long, not too short. I got this shirt in "fossil" to go with matching pants I bought at a retail store. Liked the set so much got online to see if they came in different colors and the pants do come in "sage" a darker khaki but there's no shirt in "sage"? Am I too late or was there never one made in that color? Anyways the other hideous, clown colors that seem to have infiltrated all of Columbia's women's wear this year are not going to work for me fly fishing...the trout will see me coming a mile away!!! Bug Shield shirt Nice shirt, runs a little snug. The pockets are too small on all women's shirts and pants. It would be nice to be able to fit a passport, driving license, etc in the pockets when traveling. January 27, 2011
