No more cold feet! I love these boots. I have Reynaud's phenomenon in my hands and feet, and they go ice cold, even in our moderate Portland winters. Warm socks and boots help some, but I always eventually get cold, numb toes no matter how I layer up. It's a minor annoyance, but it definitely puts a damper on cold weather commuting and outings. These boots are great, though! They warm the toes right up and keep the circulation going, even in the snow. Now I wish CSW would make slippers and dress shoes that heat up, too! December 27, 2011
Keep my feet warm all day long. I had the first model of this boot and really liked them. Unfortunately the battery didn't charge after a season and so Columbia sent me these boots as a replacement - love the warranty! Pros - these boots keep my feet nice and warm all day long. I work with horses even in the extreme cold and when my feet get cold my whole body is cold. I really like how I can take the battery pack out and charge the boots with the USB port as well as the electric outlet. Cons: the battery pack sits next to my ankles and my ankles get sore. I'm trying to layer socks and position the battery back a bit different to prevent this. I really miss the old motorcycle style boot- never had this issue and just liked the look of the older model.
