Be sure to order down a size! These are great socks - if only they fit as labeled! The favorable reviews are completely inconsistent with my experience so I must presume that those customers knew to order down a size. I have worn Columbia Sportswear women's socks for years and have never had trouble with sizing until these. My shoe size is 8.5 and I ordered size Medium which is designated for sizes 7-10. The socks are way too big even after washing and machine drying. My husband tried them on and they fit HIS size 8 feet. Were my pairs mislabeled??? January 30, 2012
Soft, Warm socks I love these socks. They fit perfectly. I used to wear men's winter socks. These don't slip off your feet and are very warm and comfortable. I will def. be buying more! January 16, 2012

Good all around sock. These socks are good for hiking, skiing and snowshoeing. They keep you warm when you need that and also wick moisture away when needed. The thickness of the material is good (and normal for the type of sock in which I like to hike) and they have extra padding on the soles. The interior of the sock has "open-looped" material and I'm wondering how this is going to hold up (snags, etc.?). I bought these at a discounted price and feel that I got a quality product for the price I paid. December 30, 2011

Best socks ever! I bought 4 pairs of these several years back and hadn't seen them since. I was so glad to see I could buy them online. They fit my feet like a glove and don't slouch at all. Even after wearing them all day. They are very warm and great quality. The 4 original pair I have are still in great shape, even after almost 6 years of continuous wear. Well worth the money.
