Just what I was looking for. Since I live in the south, I look for lightweight comfortable pants to wear all year and these fit perfectly. My regular size was spot on and there is some stretch for more comfort. highly recommend! September 20, 2012
for thin legs I liked the pants, but since I ordered them & I had not tried on I had to send back. They seemed too tight in the thighs & hips & I am not big hipped. I have other Columbia pants in this size that do fit. September 19, 2012

Looks great, wears great and fits our narrower hipped females well! I rue having to look for new pants. Most have too wide of hips for me. Tried these on at a Columbia store and .... just fit perfectly! Wear well from handwashing in India/Nepal trips to machine washing and wear around town and at work. Does not shrink, so you can trust the appearance when trying on. After many uses, stills looks great.I went on line to look for a second pair ... wanted a pair in black or a brown. Light weight and comfortable I have to wear cargo pants for work and it is difficult to find women's cargos that are light weight and comfortable. These fit the bill. After I bought mine, one of my co-workers bought a pair too. July 29, 2012

excellent functional choice Bought these to wear to work as an alternative to my normal jeans and for an upcoming trip to Ireland. Comfortable, fairly light weight and extremely flattering I think they will server me well. Sizes seem to run a little smaller than most today. The 8 fits me more like a 6 in most other brands. Wish they came in light gray. May 24, 2012

Comfort and looks! I bought 2 pairs of these last summer at REI. I love the way they fit and flatter my shape. I especially appreciate how they stretch but still are 98% cotton! I use them for biking and everyday use. I just ordered 2 more pairs.The material is ripstop cotton and is are perfect for warmer weather. I like the self belts too. April 21, 2012
Great pants! And I'm very picky. Found first pair in a store and loved them even though the waist needed taking in so they would stay up! After that was done they turned out to be perfect in the important ways - great functional pockets that look good too, lightweight, flexible material that hides dirt, long enough legs in 10 regular for me at nearly 5'10" and 140 lbs. Silly belt though...but OK to leave it off - LOL! So then I had to order two more pair cuz pants this good are hard to find! April 17, 2012
Fit Great, Very Lightweight These pants fit great, were true to size, and are a great lightweight pant to wear in the spring or summer. I didn't like the belt much because the buckle kept slipping but I just wear a different belt. They did snag pretty easily on a bush when I was hiking but I still would like another pair. Ok fit,color name confusion I bought. 2 pair because of the fit of my original purchase in a department store,of the exact same item. Little disappointed because of the fit not quite the same, lower ride, and slightly smaller.Confusion on the name of the color..RED Maghoney took a chance and hoped it was dark brown....it was.Like the material April 4, 2012
great fit! from a 56 yr old 5'-7" size 10.... length perfect with flats or low heels,..-my ample butt looks great even with the pocket flaps!,... held their shape through 3 wearings prior to first wash*.....loved the first pair purchased at REI so much that i searched for another pair...then purchased 2(pant and capri) directly from Columbia website and another from Cabella's website. Small "BUT", be aware...washed first pair, put in dryer for 10 minutes, then line dried....not as "wash and wear"(i.e. wrinkle free) as I would have liked.. seams rippled a bit....but with a little smoothing right out of the wash, can work with this. Good all around pant Pant was what I expected and I'm happy about it!Fabric - Lightweight pant - not sure these would hold up too long for field work but great for the office. Perfect alternative to jeans. My only complaint is that they love to wrinkle and I really am not a fan of ironing.Fit - Perfect! Nice length and minimal gaping at the waistband. February 21, 2012

Exactly what I was looking for Love love love these pants. I'm tall (5'10", 135 lbs) so my options were very limited as far as hiking pants in long lengths. Read the reviews on these as compared with several other brands and chose these - couldn't be happier! Flattering fit - I wore them to work right away rather than waiting for my upcoming hiking trip out West! Soft, stretchy, and plenty long enough. I usually wear a size 6 but opted for an 8 because I didnt' want them to be too snug for me to comfortably move around in, and the 8 is perfect. Get these pants!! January 20, 2012
Solid choice for general outdoorsy girls The fabric, color, pockets and fit of these pants are absolutely wonderful. The rise is not too high, not too low, but just right. The material is slightly stretchy - just enough to provide give when hiking inclines. I found them to be a tad large and a little long - even in the smallest size - but a quick hem was easy enough on such smooth fabric. January 6, 2012
Comfortable and Functional for field work! I was in need of a comfortable pant that stretched with me and didn't bind while doing field research. This pant is durable and stretches perfectly when I squat. I would recommend going up one size. I am typically a size 2 and bought a size 4. I still need to wear a belt but the 2's would have been too small. The length is perfect for me. I am 5'5" and the length is just right with hiking boots on. Happy I got 2 colors! January 3, 2012

Great all around pant I really like these pants. Good fit. Didn't think much of the belt but it actually looks and feels right. Great for work, hanging out, hiking, etc. Not formal dressy but definitely good to wear anywhere else. Good looking, sleek cargo pant. Very comfortable. I'd buy more colors if I could afford them. My favorite pants ever! I paint houses for a living. I have gone to every kind of store that I can think of to get womens work pants that fit good and are comfortable.I even tried mens work pants. Then I ordered these. Although pricey for something Im going to eventually get paint on its well worth it. I like them so much that I want them for outside of work as well. They are not only comfortable but they are very cute on. I feel like I still look like a woman when I wear them. November 3, 2011
Had to send back Great looking pants, but not made for ladies with curves. If you have curves, I suggest going two sizes higher. I normally wear an 8, but these were way to tight. Had to send them back. Bought them for a trip, but no time to re-order. September 19, 2011

way too short I tried these in a regular length in the store and they were too short, so I ordered them in long. When they arrived, the longs were just as short as the regulars. Maybe they were mislabeled? Returned them. August 4, 2011

How to measure
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
