Extremely happy with these boots! I've worn these a ton since I bought them just a couple months ago. I love it that they're so stylish, yet very practical-- They are very warm & comfortable, and I don't feel frumpy or dressed down at all when I wear them.I bought a half size up, which is perfect. I'm normally a size 8.5 but I ordered a size 9.I was so glad to be wearing these boots while walking around on a frozen lake with my family a couple weeks ago. Everyone else was slipping & sliding, but the tread on these boots are so outstanding, that I was very stable & didn't slip one bit on the ice. It's nice to know that I won't slip when walking on ice or snow that I come across here in Utah. I love these boots, & I'm always happy with the quality of the Columbia products that I buy! Strange Fit I loved the way these boots looked online and was so excited to receive them. I work in an office in a place where is snows alot and am always trying to find boots that are stylish, but still comfortable to wear in the snow. Sadly, these boots just didn't look like what I expected. Because they only lace way up high around your calf, they are very loose around the ankle to be able to get your foot in. They fit snugly around the calf and foot, and are almost baggy looking around the ankle. I went ahead and returned them. September 11, 2012
Cozy and stylish I wanted some boots to replace my Uggs-style boots (which I bought because they are warm but don't wear very often because I think they are ugly)! These do the trick! These are no hiking boots- don't expect ankle support- but the are great for the after-hike campfire or the day-to-day running around. Mine were true to size: I normally wear a 7 and that is what I ordered and they fit well. August 19, 2012
Warm and comfotable. I have had Uggs and love them for their warmth and cozy comfort. I like these boots even better. They have a nicely cushioned base and they are really warm. The color is great too! December 22, 2011
Best Winter Boot Ever! I found the video on Zappos by Columbia to be very helpful prior to purchasing, as it features just how flexible the sole is on this boot. Further, it's rated to -32 degrees, water proof, is super warm, and basically feels like out door slippers! I've gotten lots of compliments on these boots and am considering buying a second pair for the future; I never know when I'll come across winter boots this low key yet fashionable, comfortable, and with great traction again! Certainly says a lot for someone who is writing from the cold trundra that is Minnesota. The only slight cons I would say, is that because these are such a flexible boot, you pay for it in ankle support. However, I don't perceive going hiking on level 3-5 paths with these. Further, the laces are a suede-like texture and are easily untied. I would recommend replacing these laces with some of your own, removing them (as you don't need these to tighten the boot on your leg), or just tucking the ends of the laces inside your boot. Stylish and low key I just moved back to NY from CA and I needed some winter supplies, ASAP. I wanted winter boots that I could wear in the city and in the suburbs with anything and still feel stylish. These looked good in the picture, so I went for it.I've only worn them 2X so far, but both times I've been happy - one time it was raining pretty bad, they kept my feet dry and warm even when I fully submerged them in a puddle. Looking forward to testing them out in the snow. The only downside is that my toe touches the front. It's not uncomfortable per se... and maybe a thicker sock would pad it a little. Not a deal breaker - I just might go up 1/2 a size if I were to do it again. December 5, 2011
