Durable, comfortable These sandals are very comfortable. I have wide feet and the size fits perfectly! I know it will last a long time because I finally threw out my first pair of Columbia sandals, which I bought several years ago. That pair was showing its wear and tear. I will continue to use these new sandals for everything - like hiking, kayaking, zip lining, snorkeling cruises, walking, and every day use. May 7, 2013
I wish they were sized correctly I've purchased Sandals from Columbia before and have been very pleased with the quality but these are way too small. The strap is too short to really close and it comes loose very often......I'll look for some others when the new ones come out. April 7, 2013
Sandals for flippers This model is poorly designed. I have rather narrow feet but I couldn't fasten these sandals at all, the velcro was just too short. I was very disappointed because I love this brand and I have been wearing their sandals for years. December 18, 2012
Great for water aerobics! I love the support this shoe gives in water aerobics. It fits snuggly with the adjustable straps and moves well during all the exercises and while running in the pool. I highly recommend it. November 18, 2012

Favorite summer shoes I purchased these at the beginning of the summer to wear during my job at a summer camp. They are by far the best purchase I've made in a while! They are comfortable, lightweight and fit really well! I have always had problems with foot/ankle pain, but even when I wore them every day for 12+ hours and did a significant amount of walking (usually 4+ miles per day) I had no foot problems. They held up well on the trail and running in the field with the kids. I even wore them in the pool! (They dry in a reasonable amount of time and never got stinky). By the end of the summer, they had held up quite well in spite of the beating I'd given them every day! (One of the shoes did manage to get a small puncture in the footbed (top, near the toe), but it never became a structural issue). I would absolutely buy these shoes again. October 8, 2012
so sad..... Have worn this style of Columbia sandal for over 12 years. I have 5 pair of the old stlye. Have used them in winter in the NW with socks year round and traveled to China 3 times with endless walking. This new style has been changed and is cheaply made, straps are too short, the heel is lower and there is no padding. Too bad, this is the forth pair I have sent back hoping I was wrong about all of the styles being changed. Getting ready to travel again and had to change Brands, so sad. Also paid $18 to have two pair returned to Columbia, while other companies are free returns. September 20, 2012

Not like my old Riptide sandals I was replacing my old Columbia Riptide sandals, these were the closest I could find on the website. Unfortunately they don't fit the same, and I really liked my old ones (and the many others worn out over the years).The new sandals don't seem as sturdy as my old ones (which lasted 3 years), the top strap is far too short. This is a good all-around outdoor shoe, especially for damp events. I have a very difficult time getting comfortable shoes due to thin, narrow, bony feet that have recently begun a neuroma problem. I feel most comfortable in summertime daily walking exercise in this type of shoe, with velcro closures, which fit my feet best. Although I really like the shoes, they have rubbed a small sore on the top of each foot and under one ankle bone. With the wide sole, I have kicked one of my inside ankle bones and made a sore there as well. All this being said, I feel that these are the best shoes for my purpose, and either the shoes will soften up or my feet will toughen up and the discomfort will eventually be history. Great shoe! Perfect for outdoor activities. Shoe is extremely comfortable and fit is excellent. No need to break these in or worry about straps chaffing your feet. After two weeks of daily use during a 10 day camping, boating and hiking trip the shoes look new. Upper soles are clean and I do not have "foot" prints like has happened with other brands. A very nice sandal. I wanted another pair of Techsun H2O, but it is no longer being made. The Techsun III does not have an adjustable back strap but, otherwise, is a very nice, comfortable sandal. August 14, 2012
Happy Feet Got my sandals today, and I'm *really* happy with them! I got them to replace an old pair of another brand, and am pleased they turned out to be everything I had hoped. If you wear a half size, you *must* order the next greater whole size, or they will be too small....that's just common sense when ordering shoes online. They fit just fine, are comfortable, and the ridge on the front of the shoe does *not* interfere with or touch my toes at all. There is also plenty of strap left when my feet swell at the end of the day... they're light and comfy...I highly recommend! August 8, 2012

Runs small for the back strap The back strap is small and I don't have much room to adjust the strap. It is a tight fit but if my feet swell, I would not be able to wear them. July 2, 2012

Awful fit Be very careful when you order these shoes, there is a rigid lip around the the base of where your feet lays on this sandal that is raised and will hit the edge of your toe as you walk. If you wish to have blisters on your toes before that caluse up this is the shoe for you, if you have pain already then be wary. April 20, 2012
this sandal runs smaller than other columbia sandals this sandal was not only too short but also the straps were too short to go over my foot! I wear this size in the columbia riptide---which I love and wish they would offer again in lots of colors, but it was def too small for me. I had to check and make sure I hadn't ordered a childs size! March 22, 2012
Great daily wear sandal These are very comfortable and attractive sporty sandals. The straps are adjustable for a perfect fit and the foot bed stays very snug to your foot so it doesn't move around and rub. The straps only rubbed very slightly the first time I wore them but after that they were broken in and I can wear the sandals all day in comfort. The only feature I wish was available would be similar sandal with a closed toe. March 3, 2012
Good sandal, but... I got this as a gift for my Wife. Overall she loves them, except for one problem, the top corner of the side strap that wraps around the top of the foot digs into her foot when she's walking. It's just one little piece that makes the sandals uncomfortable. However, this might go away after they're broken in. Other than that, it's a very good product.
