Perfect Shell for CA Girls I reviewed a smiliar jacket in the girls section because it's made out of the omni tech and keeps the wet out. I have an older daughter who hates the bulk when it's cold and wet outside. She can wear this with a light sweater / sweatshirt and layer with this and be perfect. Not too hot or cold and it keeps her dry. She came home the other day to say she was one of the only kids at school who wasn't going into the classrooms drenched after switching classes. I am only reviewing the fit as "runs a little small" because she's rather large chested and that's the part that is a bit tight. Otherwise I think if you are average it would fit just right. Rain Jacket I was really delighted when I received the rain jacket. I was worried about the color because it look red on line. It is more of a fuscia color which I was delighted with. It is a very feminine fit! It is made very well. I was considering another company but am happy I went with Columbia. Excellent customer service!My only suggestion would be to explain the velcro tab under the hood. It took me a while to figure out that it was to change the way the hood fits. September 22, 2012
