Ninja Granny? I ordered two of these hoodies. I liked the design, and Columbia's fabric and workmanship in items I've ordered so far have been excellent. They are in this item as well. From now on, though, I will ALWAYS call customer service for garment measurements before I order. I know enough to order one size up, because Columbia items can run quite small....but some times ordering up a size just isn't enough. (Also, I happen to like a bit of ease in my clothes.) This was one of those times! It's possible it will be brought back in the extended sizes, but I've found 1X is often 4 to 5 inches larger than XL -and that's too big! I wanted this top for general use and found the style a bit extreme (futuristic?)for me (in the over 60 group). The hood felt like a tight -fitting helmet. -- Did not keep items long enough to test in wet weather. I thought this design was chic and slick.. and would be very good for a serious cyclist or runner. May 10, 2012

How to measure

Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
