Very thin, but good for some things. It wasn't the warmer layer I was looking for. Fit and quality wise, though, it is top notch. I'm 5'10" 165lbs. Just wasn't what I'm needing.Runs longer than other Columbia outerwear--fit is similar to the Compounder Shell November 24, 2012

Best jacket ever Seriously, this jacket is the best jacket I've ever owned. I purchased this jacket in black because I have a ski jacket, and a wind breaker and didn't have anything for in between. But now I'll wear this in place of my wind breaker, it gets the job done. The OmniHeat is super nice and soft, and the OmniWick absolutely wicks, and the OmniWind is awesome, I wear this jacket in 50 degree weather at 15 degree weather. It's so great! I don't get over heated in this jacket, and the shell is super soft, the figure is really flattering as well. I've gotten SO many compliments on this jacket. Yeah, it looks cute but the functionality of this jacket comes first. Well done Columbia, well done. November 5, 2012

Love the look! I purchased this jacket thinking it was a "winter" jacket. I was quite shocked when it arrived to see how thin it was! I immediately called customer service to discuss my purchase. They were very helpful, and assured me that despite its thin appearance, it's omni heat system would keep me warm. I have two friends who also assured me of its warmth. Now, I am excited to have such a light weight, functional jacket for winter! Driving without all the bulk of a winter jacket is great! I feel the fit is true to size, but the sleeves are a little long (but the Velcro adjustment at the wrist makes it no real concern). The color is fabulous! I got the jade. I have been told that if you plan to play outside in the snow with the kids, this is not the coat for you...go with the fleece or tri layered Colombia. October 22, 2012

How to measure

Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
