Still Happy This ski jacket was fantastic in all areas except for one. It didn't have any inside pockets to store things while I skied. It fit perfectly, kept me completely warm (in Whistler on a day where it was snowing the whole time we were skiing), looked great & was extremely comfortable. But the only 3 pockets were 2 at the sides & 1 at the top. I kept my phone in the top pocket, & it was getting wet I guess from condensation, not sure. My husband had another brand jacket & it had an array of inside pockets for everything from his phone to his iPod & then some. I am still very happy with the jacket, because it fits me so well & is so comfortable & warm. Next time I will keep my phone in the side pocket. March 18, 2012
Women's Alpine Alliance Parka Ten years ago I purchased a similar type of coat. I am from Colorado and love to have gear for all 4 seasons. I especially like the interchange coat features, but even more like that both the shell and the lining have the ability to unzip under the arms to let me breath while staying warm. I also really like the new feature (not sure what it is called), in the lining where I can put my thumb through the sleeve and better cover my hands. I love my 2 new Women's Alpine Alliance Parkas. I am set for another 10- 15 years! I also really like the color, this is a bonus to the functionality (I purchased the black and green and the teal). March 15, 2012
Almost perfect This jacket is really well made and warm. My only problem was that the sleeves were too snug and I don't personally care for the thumb holes. Had to return it because I am looking for a warm multi purpose jacket that won't take up a lot of space in my suitcase and this one would have. Still love Columbia and would recommend this jacket. love it!! I love this jacket. I was a little apprehensive at first because I am not a big fan of lime green. But I ordered it anyway, and as soon as I opened the box, I fell in love with it. It is warm and comfortable, not bulky or heavy. I love that its water-proof and stain resistant. Great find and great buy!!!~Duh~ February 20, 2012

Great womens coat Overall great multi coat.The only changes I would've made were not having the breast pockets on the same side. Have the outer on the left.Also its a bit hard to get off due to snug cuffs. Especially if they are wet. Maybe different fabric could be used there.Finally I love less velcro but it would great velcro free. February 18, 2012
glad i found it Good whatever coat... dog walking, hiking, errands on cold blustery days, and yes skiing!?! Only complaint is I wish it was a bit longer to cover more of the rear. My third Columbia coat. The last one lasted 15+ years. February 6, 2012
Perfect for the South I love the jacket... for the southern states. I currently live in AL, but was raised in MI where winds and blowing ice rain and snow with freezing temperatures are more often than sunny, warm temperatures. This jacket is perfect for rain and wind protection as the sleeve cuffs are tight and don't allow anything in or out. The double layer jacket and shell conception helps to maintain body heat however, it does not CREATE or build warmth. There is a cord at the bottom of the jacket to help tighten the fit to your body which, also helps to trap heat. Overall, I love the jacket, but I haven't had it long enough to test it in Michigan weather to give an honest review for extreme temps and weather. January 27, 2012
A little short, but overall great! The coat I ordered said it was black and in all of the photos online it appeared to be black as well. It is actually charcole with a lined pattern, which is pretty cool just not what I was expecting. I was also expecting this coat to be a little longer than it ended up being. It is, however, very warm and is excellent quality. It's also pretty true to size. The medium fit perfectly for a winter coat. If it were about 4 inches longer it would be perfect, but overall, I'm happy with the coat. January 13, 2012
Happy with my decision I am so glad that I chose this jacket. It has a very flattering fit. The outer shell has almost a soft, suede-like feel to it. Absolutely love the subtle pattern in the black, adds some variation verses it being a solid color. Super excited that I no longer have to deal with the crunching noises of the outer shell when it gets super cold out, unlike my old Columbia jacket. Love. This. Coat! I really love the look and feel of this coat. Living in Wisconsin, the coat keeps me nice and toasty in the harsh winter weather. The look of the coat is very classy, and the fit is perfect. I especially love the brushed look to the black fabric - nice touch! I do wish it didn't have the thumb holes on the wrist of the green inner layer, but I simply roll it up, and it is fine. January 3, 2012
Overall Exellent This jacket was bought of a present for my wife. She loved it, however it is a good thing she has small hands because the cuffs are very tight. I tried to put it on when I got it to see if the size was similar to her old jacket and there was no way I was going to get my hands through. FYI if you have large hands I would not recomend. Perfect! I love this jacket. I don't get sweaty walking to the bus stop. I am warm while I wait for the bus. I am dry in the Portland rain. I am only using the shell at this point in the season, but having and extra layer at my disposal is perfect. I also like that I am very vibrant, I ordered the bright rose jacket. Walking at night in a black coat makes me feel unsafe. Having the option of a brighter color makes me feel secure.Also, I feel like I got 3 jackets for the price of 1. This is a great coat! Good Stuff All in all, a great coat for the price. The only problem I had was getting my hands through the wrist cuffs to start. The snow shield cuffs are a great feature and I love the extra warmth they provide, but I really had to work to get my hands through the first few times. My wrists are small and my hands aren't big so I was surprised at how difficult it was to put this coat on. Given this, the sleeves sometimes get stuck on when I'm trying to take my coat off due to the tightness around the wrists. I love the color; I got blue, and practicality of this coat so I'm keeping it. November 13, 2011
first of many purchases This was the first coat I have bought from columbia and I don't know why I didn't buy one earlier! I go to college in ohio and walking in the winter months are rough! This coat is extremly warm and weather resisitant. I hve not yet got to use all of its features yet but I look forward to some deeper snow to really see what it can do. The only thing that has happened is the loop on the inner coat that hooks it to the outer jacket broke on one arm. November 7, 2011
