Great quality, comfort and functionally cute! I love these leggings/tights- I bought 2! They are very comfortable, light, thin and warm. They kept me dry, warm and comfortable for downhill skiing in 25 degrees F on mountain in rain/sleet/snow/ high wind mix conditions. I wore them under gore-tex snow pants-just a shell, not even insulated snow pants and I was still plenty warm enough and not wet!) I was one of the last in my crew to be done for the day because I stayed dry and warm the longest! I am a size 28 sometimes 29, 4-6 in avg pant sizes and the size S fits wonderfully because it stretches nicely and is well constructed. April 2, 2013
Great in Germany I am studying abroad in Germany and that is the reason for my purchase. I wear these tights under my pants during the colder hours of the morning / evening. They are so warm, in fact, that during the days they are too hot! I also wear them alone when I run outside in the cold. The weather here during the day is currently avg in the 30's. There is still snow on the ground. I hope this review helps. The colors are bright and fun fyi!I am 5'8" 130 lbs and I wear a small comfortably. March 7, 2013
Keeps you warm while moving! I ordered these to wear for curling as I am always cold! They are very easy to layer under athletic pants and fit close to the body nicely. They are very long, but I didn't find it to be a problem even though I am only 5'3". The only thing that made me knock them to a four instead of five is that the omni-heat dot things can be a little scratchy. February 18, 2013
Love them! Tia is my second pair of these leggings. I have worn them for everything from skiing in the Northeast to backpacking to rock climbing. They're nice and warm for every activity I've tried except for indoor running. In that case they get a little bit too hot.In terms of quality, these are great. I bought a second pair for aesthetic reasons, as rock climbing had created pills on the seams. Now I've set aside the old pair as my rock climbing leggings and the new pair as the one I live in.Size XS: 5'3 115lbs. February 2, 2013
Love!! I loved the idea of these but once I got them I loved it even more! I am 5'10" and they go almost to my ankles (which is a miracle with a regular inseam). I wouldn't recommend buying these for leggings though. The wind goes right through them and the omni-heat is useless unless there is some sort of wind block. They are thin enough to wear under jeans without bulking. The only thing that I didn't necessarily like is that the omni-heat made my legs a little itchy. I don't usually have very sensitive skin. After you wear them for about ten minutes, you get used to it. I don't notice it anymore though. Definitely a must for snow sports though! :) January 28, 2013
perfect for outdoors in the winter love these for skiing, running, or just playing outdoors in the cold. great wicking, comfy material, stays in place. i am 5'6" and 120, small was perfect. January 21, 2013
love these pants i bought these and the extreme fleece pants. these arent as warm, which i expected as they are mid weight. they still do the job and are very comfortable. if you don't need lots of extra warmth i recommend these pants. not great on a super cold day but other than that they do their job.a bit long but not enough to be an issue. January 20, 2013
fantastic outdoor cold weather tight I love these tights. I have had poly tights for years for skiing. I wore these on a very old day skiing in Utah and I was so warm and comfortable. January 19, 2013
It's very comfortable The pants of XS size (rose) fit me although a little long but not matter much. I love the color and the touch of feeling. It's a little bit thinner than I thought, and I haven't gone outside sport so don't know its heat-keeping ability yet. January 16, 2013
Does what it advertises. Very stylish long underwear - ooops, now called base layer. I use it under my tennis shorts playing tennis in the winter on cold indoor courts. Also under regular pants just around our cold house. Fun to put on - the silver on the inside is pretty high tech and allows the tights to be thinner, which is nice. January 13, 2013
Really good! I really liked it, it fits perfectly but it kind of didn't perform its intended use as well as I thought. It keeps me warm but not as I imagined, it great though. January 1, 2013
I love them! They are really comfortable, versatile & they keep me warm. December 31, 2012
Women's midweight baselayer tight Best baselayer ever! December 31, 2012
Perfect weight I absolutely love this baselayer for wearing under my everyday Columbia pants. I have numerous styles and these pants do not add bulk or rippling. They add just enough warmth on most of our colder days. I'm going to try the heavier weight for the more extreme cold weather. The fit is perfect, plenty long in the legs (I'm 5'8) and they are not too short. Even the stride is perfect. This is my second pair and now I want all the other colors! December 30, 2012
Comfy base layer and running tight I've worn these for subzero runs (not warm enough to wear alone but good as a base layer) and on a 35 degree temp run. They were not warm enough to wear for walking only in 35 degrees (during the warm up walk) but were fine once I got running for a while. They do feel like they are being "activated" by your body heat as you get moving. They hold up to wind fairly well and are super comfortable and flattering. I'll use them alone for running in temps 35 and above. The fit is wonderful. I bought a large and it is perfect size for me at 5'4" and 165 lbs. December 29, 2012
Warm and light weight These are an easy layer to throw on under a pair of jeans for working outside in the cooler weather. I tried them out on a motorcycle ride with temps in the upper 30's and they were fine. December 16, 2012
the silver dots made me itchy I think the Omni-Heat technology really works well, however the silver dots made me feel very itchy on my skin. So after trying them on, I immediately decided to return them. I think it does the function of keeping warm very well, but not good for sensitive and dry skin. December 11, 2012
Great Product! I love this product! It runs very true to size, is extremely versatile, comfortable, and keeps me the perfect temperature! It reflects my heat in keeping me warm, yet allows for breathability. You are kept at the perfect temperature. They are extremely comfortable, I can wear them as baselayers for the cold, as leggings, or even to bed. I love these and would highly recommend them!!! December 11, 2012
Great base layer I pared these with the medium weight long sleeve top and they are great. During the camping trip I wore them day and night and I stayed dry and warm. The fit is perfect for me. They performed in every way as described by Columbia. December 11, 2012
Weekend attire I live in these pants every weekend! They fit great and I just wear them as leggings with long tops/sweaters. During the winter I wear them underneath khakis for work because I'm constantly in and out of my car (in chilly Buffalo weather). They are great for layering or wearing on their own. This is the second pair I've purchased because of how frequently I wear them. December 7, 2012
Nice Pants I really liked these pants for wearing as a baselayer when it was really cold out. They really do insulate but not add too much bulk. I actually really liked them as a running pant when it was really cold out. They wash well and are flattering as well. November 25, 2012
Super warm and super light I got a pair of these to help keep me warm for the winter. So far I have only gotten to use them one day in the snow but they kept me really warm. The whole day I wore them under some thin pants, but they still kept me warm. They are really comfortable and feel a lot like my running pants, but warmer. The Omniheat is really great and keeps me warm all day. November 19, 2012
So comfortable... I wore these on a cold night to play soccer and the omni-heat lining worked great. I love everything about this product. It was true to size, very comfortable and kept me at the perfect temperature the whole time. October 18, 2012
Not quite warm enough I purchased these long underwear because I tend to run cold, produce little heat while standing still, and wanted something warmer when I'm out climbing and hiking in the fall and winter months. Columbia's omni-heat technology sounded like an innovative way of meeting my needs at an affordable price. When the long underwear arrived I wore it around my apartment in 60-something degrees. I found that when I stood still or the wind was blowing that I was actually cold, but when I was walking/moving I was warm. Given that I climb and frequently stand still while belaying others, being cold was not a good state to be in (esp. since I was buying them be warm). However, most of my friends do not have trouble producing heat/being warmer than me and would have liked having these in their closet. October 9, 2012
Very Soft Hadnt got a chance to wear yet, but from trying them on they feel really soft and comfortable. Preparing for my winter in Afganistan where I hear it gets really cold. Got all my summer gear here, Columbia never fails, so im giving this 2 thumbs upppp!!!! October 3, 2012
love the baselayer great to wear as leggings August 25, 2012
Whistler in March I bought the mid weight base layer shirt and pants for my trip to Whistler in March. I was concerned it wouldn't be warm enough, but found out after about 10 minutes on the slopes that I was wrong. I was glad I didn't wear a mid-layer on top because I would've overheated. The base layer pants fit true to size, the elastic worked well to hold them up, and they were thin enough to wear under jeans just strolling the village. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. March 12, 2012
Very happy I needed a baselayer to keep me warm under thin rain pants while skiing. I was very concerned about being to cold, but these worked out perfectly! Very comfortable, very warm. The black are attractive enough to wear on their own if need be. I have replaced all my other types of leggings with these. Highly recommend. March 8, 2012
Amazing! Verry thin but verry warm! They were a little bit too long for me but i'm verry tiny! February 24, 2012
Very warm and comfortable Bought these for warmth during winter months of dragon boat paddling. They are working out great. They are very comfortable during exercise and keep me very warm. I am very happy with the purchase. January 15, 2012
exceeded expectations We bought the entire outfit for me and my wife and have used it from skiing to mountain biking to wearing it in the cold early morning hours to and from swimming. It sure keeps you warm and lets the sweat evaporate without feeling wet or clammy. We can highly recommend it and it is worth the extra cost because of the versatility and lightweight design. January 14, 2012
good base layer or running tights I enjoy these for running in the colder weather or camping in the winter time. I got the mid-weight bc I live in Alabama, but I think if I lived in colder climates, I would get the heavier material. December 14, 2011
Legs too Long Disappointed because legs were oddly long December 12, 2011
Omni heat base layer Great base layer. Keeps you warm, but not too hot.Cool colors too. December 7, 2011
This Product is great! Lightweight, comfortable, kept me warm wheather 0f <30 F. Love it! December 3, 2011
Omni Heat Really Works! These tights are great for people who tend to get cold easily. The Omni Heat really reflects your body heat back to you without overheating you and breathes really well. The fit is great and the construction is tough. November 26, 2011
Love Em These are awesome tights. They are not too thick and not too thin. I don't over heat in them, and yet I stay comfy warm. Great fit too. October 16, 2011
