Comfortable coat Have worn this coat for two weeks now and am enjoying it. I've just worn it around town so can't say how it performs in outdoor activities. I ordered up a size because of comments others had made but found it way too big. Returned it for my usual size which fits fine. It is warm and comfortable. In the rain it sheds water very well, however I find myself wishing that it had a hood. Indoors (shopping) I sometimes get a little sweaty in it. At first I didn't care for the comfort cuffs with thumb holes but have found them very useful when gripping that cold steering wheel. I like the fabric and color (silver/gray). January 18, 2012

If busty, don't purchase Bought 2XL and although it fit in the shoulders, it did not compliment large bust and the bottom was huge and not able to cinch it to look better. The bottom hit at a bad place on the hip, not long enough and then gapes out in front if busty. Might look nice on someone smaller. December 19, 2011
Nice jacket, ugly color I have broad shoulders so I have to purchase a 1X size. The shoulders fit perfectly with extra room around the stomach which when I buy jackets is to be expected. The color however, is horrible. I ordered plum which shows a dark purple. This is not even close! The arms are a bit close to what you would expect in color. The front and back are more like fushia. I did not want a jacket that was so brightly colored and will be sending it back for an exchange. November 30, 2011
Great product. I purchased this jacket in the silver color...which was in turn more grey (a little blah). I was hoping for some metallic coloring to spice it up. The jacket was a great fit, especially if you have larger upper arms. The length could be an inch or two longer as this hits at the high hip...not flattering if you are a bit heavier. My only true complaint was the shipping. I paid for 3-5 day shipping which cost me $12. I received the jacket after 11 days...then I had to pay to return it. November 27, 2011
Nice jacket! I bought this coat because I hate the bulk of standard winter protection, but didn't want to compromise by freezing. The Chic Technique performs surprisingly well, keeping cold wind out and heat in. For bitter Minnesota winters, though, it does require an extra layer underneath (but most winter coats seem to). The only other con is that the tapering in the back causes it to hang a little awkwardly on me, however I'm sure that's just a personal variable. Overall, I'm really pleased with the purchase, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. November 26, 2011
