Women's Chic Technique™ Jacket 4.4 5 17 17
Not quite cold enough yet for the ultimate test I do love my new chic technique, but I'm really saving it for colder weather, I have over heated with it when just out walking dogs with low 50s temp. So I believe it will keep me toasty. The only thing that would improve it for me, is if it had similar fabric all over, there is a mix of microfiber on the arms and back panel, which if it were only on the arms, I think it would have a more harmonious design. I didn't really notice that before ordering online and it's not that big of a deal, just a small one.I usually wear a small, and this jacket fit me perfectly. September 19, 2012
Perfect! I bought the Chic Technique Jacket in Plum, and i absolutely love it! The color looks a lot darker on the computer screen, but it is bright and almost has a pink tint.. I love bright though, so it made me love it even more! I almost got a size bigger than i normally buy because of some of the reviews i read, but decided against it because i like my clothes very fitted, and it fits perfect. I am looking forward to wearing it this Winter! August 23, 2012
Good Features Like Omni-Heat; three jackets that I bought from Columbia are all Omni-Heat. Apparently, this jacket can be worn in the rainy days. One thing I don't like is the jacket is too big and long for me even it's XS. Wish Columbia can make some jackets are a bit body hugging; it can keep us much warmer. April 6, 2012
Love the color I like the lightness in this coat, but maybe it's too "light" for Chicago's cold windy weather. I felt a bit of a chill still, but since I bought it in a medium, I do have some room for a warmer sweater. So I'm going to keep it because of its lightness - I'm petite and I'm done with the oversize jackets that make me look like a barrel with two pegs underneath. March 7, 2012
Just what was needed for a teenaged daughter Very "cool" look, styling is slim, and the warmth factor is there without the bulk, which I was told is essential to being willing to wear it to school. The interior lining and the thumb slot put this over the top.The prior reviews about the color were helpful and actually it's slightly different in a very good way - has a slate blue effect February 9, 2012
Great Jacket I am a Columbia person. This jacket is thin because your body heat keeps you warm. It's amazing. There is no bulkyness and you can move freely. If you have cold climate this is the perfect jacket to own. I love it! One thing you need to order a size larger. January 29, 2012
Fun Jacket This jacket is great for the PNW. Keeps me warm when I take my lab for a walk! The silver color I ordered has a very "green" tone, not the true silver as stated online. Overall, great jacket January 17, 2012
What You See is Not What You Get I was excited about this coat because I wanted something sleek yet warm. I was also excited about the neutral grey color, because I wanted something I could wear with a variety of scarves, gloves, etc.Well, it was hugely disappointing all around. The jacket is in my usual size, yet fits tightly and does not allow me to wear thicker winter clothes under it. The material doesn't give at all, so I always feel like a sausage. The zipper doesn't work well or move smoothly, so fastening it is always a challenge. And the neutral color of "grey" is actually more of a slate blue, so it is not versatile. January 15, 2012
I love my new jacket. I purchased this jacket for golf in the winter time. It is the perfect weight and fit for winter sports and incorporates a stylist design. January 12, 2012
Happy Wife....finally Jacket was a good choice. The Omni Heat Lining does work. Flattering fit with just the right amount of insulation for that weight garment. Kudos to the design team! December 30, 2011
Oh so warm This is the warmest jacket and least bulky I've ever had. It's a great fit and I wear one thin layer under it for walking/hiking/riding and that's plenty, often needing to unzip as I heat up. Now, if it was completely water proof.....it would be the best ever. December 29, 2011
Warmest The new Omni-Heat is the warm, lightweight, and comfy.I needed something to keep me comfy while walking my dog in Wisconsin winters. The sleeves were nice and long which is always a big problem when I buy a coat. December 27, 2011
Warm in Chicago This jacket's technology truely does keep you 20% warmer, maybe more. It is streamlined and fashionable...especially love the sleeve thumb holes to keep the elements out and heat in...thanks Columbia! December 20, 2011
Great coat, not the color I expected This coat is great! It is super thin but extremely warm. Living in Western NY it gets very cold and this jacket keeps me warm and toasty. It is form fitting and hits my hips at just the right spot. The only complaint I have which really isn't a complaint is that I bought the jacket in the "New Metal" color that looked gray/silver on-line but when I received it the jacket is more a green/gray with an emphysis on the green. It's still a really cool color and it is not something I see all over town so I like it. It's a unique jacket that I know I will be very happy with for quite some time. December 8, 2011
Women's Chic Technique Jacket This jacket is very warm without looking bulky and very stylish. December 7, 2011
Love it! So comfortable and warm I love it! December 5, 2011
Order up a size Normally I wear an XL (I own a few Columbia jackets) and when I received this jacket...it fit but was very snug...even the arms (which has never happened to me before)! I definitely will not be able to layer underneath it. Maybe a silkweight base layer but that would be it. I'm afraid anything heavier would cause the jacket to pinch my arms when I use my trekking poles. I wish I would have ordered a size (or two even) larger! November 28, 2011
