great quality, but order a size up I typically wear a small in Columbia but I bought this in medium based on previous reviews and I am glad I did. It is still snug ordering a size up but I can fit a fleece jacket under it comfortably. It is warm but breatheable, waterproof, and keeps the wind out. January 1, 2012
Great jacket This jacket is great! It's a light weight, but it keeps you warm and dry just as well as heavier, bulkier coats. It also has a nice feminine silhouette. I would definitely recommend this to other people. December 16, 2011
code 9 I like the look and feel of the jacket. Haven't used it yet, but the lining isn't what I expected. It kinda clings to dry skin, and its not they softest. The collar stand sreally tall, tall enough to cover my ears.The shell seems to be pretty rigid in the fact that it would be very water resistant.They seem to run smaller than normal, because they are sort of fitted. If you have broader shoulders, keep that in mind. I orginally ordered this jacket for my mother, who normally wears a L. However it too tight across the back. December 16, 2011

IMPERVIOUS Softshell! I bought this to compete with my husband's softshell repertoire. The fabric is tough, and IMPERVIOUS to rain, snow, wind, etc. This might be the toughest fabric in Columbia's inventory. It moves very well for being so rigid. I normally wear a Medium in Columbia but had to go with a Large based on the lack of stretch--it fits great and allows me to layer my Fast Trek fleece underneath, which makes for an EXTREMELY WARM combination. It has tricot and microfleece on the inside, and is comfortable to wear solo down to 50F. I tried it out on a 40F day with the Fast Trek fleece underneath and was sweltering within minutes. Plus, it is really good-looking and flattering. For once, my husband is complaining about Columbia not having a men's version of this jacket! Great price too! November 16, 2011
Great Jacket! I love this jacket! I really keeps me dry and warm! It is the perfect weight for activity without getting too hot. I also wear as an "everyday" coat. I am pretty petite, 5'1 but chesty. Softshell Review I was very disappointed in the jacket. It has very narrow arms and the jacket overall runs small and tight. The exterior is stiff, and not "comfy" as described by the representative I spoke with. December 15, 2010
