Sweetness I've worn my fantastical new jacket all winter and it surely lived up to all my expectation! The red color of the inner jacket took a little getting used to. However that's just me not being used to the brightness of that color but I do get compliments on it all the time! I'm typically a small in everything but ordered a medium because I like my winter jackets to have a little room. I was a little worried it would be to big however it fit perfect. May 2, 2012
Didn't work out Love love love the look of this coat, the features are fantastic, and together the coat is warm. Sadly though the shoulders/underarms were too tight. Plus the liner by itself wasn't very warm. It looks great and fits great in every other way, but it didn't work for me so I had to return it. So if you have tiny shoulders this may work for you. Perfect gift I bought this jacket for my wife as a gift, she has some joint pain issues and needed a coat that was warm, waterproof and functional. This coat met the bill, she is very happy with the jacket. The fit is perfect. March 7, 2012
Well constructed products Without the inner lining the parka fits fine. Just a little tight with the liner. February 29, 2012
Love/Hate Relationship with this Jacket I absolutely love the color, (black/white/green), the thumbholes on the liner, abundance of pockets, the outer jacket is easy to clean, and the fit is great. (Was forewarned that "Titanium" products fit more snugly than other Columbia styles, so I got an XL instead of my normal L.) Fits beautifully, not too big to wear with just a shirt, yet still comfortable with a sweatshirt or sweater. Both the sleeve length and body length are very good.I hate that there is no drawstring on the collar. Because the inner liner hood is not detachable, it keeps the collar pulled away and the wind whips right down my back. I've learned to always wear a scarf with this jacket.I hate, hate, hate the zipper on the outer jacket. Super stiff and inflexible. Every time I sit down the jacket buckles outward, making me look like I'm pregnant. The Omni-Heat lining in the sleeves is scratchy when worn with short sleeved shirts.I have not found the Omni-Heat lining to be any warmer than other jackets I've had in the past. In fact, when I'm standing stationary outside in the cold I actually tend to be colder. When moving, I do find the jacket to be as warm as other jackets I have.I received this jacket as a Christmas gift, one that I specifically requested after seeing it online. Had I had the opportunity to try the jacket on in person at a Columbia store, I most likely would have selected a different jacket. January 26, 2012
Zipper on the outer coat is a little tight. This jacket (inner and outer) is of great quality. The inner jacket is great to wear as a casual jacket. I like the multiple pockets for media and goggles (goggle pocket should probably be on the inner jacket). I also like the powder skirt. The thumb holes on liner could take a little while to get used to as they currently hurt my skin between my thumb and index finger. I wish the pass pocket had a clip to secure my pass in place. The zipper on the outer coat is a little hard to zip up and down. January 24, 2012
Love this Jacket This is my 3rd Columbia Jacket. I love this jacket. Much better than the higher priced Melting Point Jacket. This one is truly and interchange -- the lining zips into the jacket. This fit is snug (all columbia jackets seem to run a little small).I love the fit, the function, the warmth. The thumb holes are great. The Jacket is very water proof. The only down side is keeping the multiple hoods in line - a very minor annoyance that I could probably fix with a couple of Velcro tabs. It could also be an inch longer in my opinion.Bottom line - I love this jacket -- highly recommend it. January 22, 2012
Perfect Christmas Gift I bought this online for my wife just in time for Christmas and it ended up being perfect. Living in MN, my wife loves the thermal technology and can use it for everyday wear or if we go snowboarding. January 8, 2012
Great jacket! I have gotten a compliment on my coat almost everytime I've worn it!The liner is pretty thin but the jacket itself is soooo warm! Haven't had to wear the liner and jacket together yet but I'm sure it's plenty toasty. The coat fits a little bit larger in the trunk than I would like but the sleeve length is perfect for my long arms. The omni heat is pretty cool, but doesn't exactly feel like cashmere. It feels a bit rough but is not a big concern. The coat also has a ton of pockets and vents, which is always handy.Overall no big complaints and I'm glad I got it! January 7, 2012
jacket the jacket was everything I was looking for but it didn't fit too small in the chest I know other people who have had the same problem with other Columbia jackets order a larger size if you can January 1, 2012
Great jacket I got it as a Christmas gift and have no complaints about it at all its warm and feels great I would buy it over a north face jacket. At first looking at it online I was a bit concern on if the color and the style of the coat but am was extremely pleased beyond my expectations with Columbia and would highly recommend this product and brand thank you December 28, 2011
Awesome Jacket! I wore this jacket snowmobiling over the holiday weekend and stayed toasty warm! Everyone else was cold with three layers and I wore only a tshirt and a Columbia fleece pullover (to zip up my neck) and was warm without sweating. The Omni Heat is fabulous! Many reviews recommended buying a size larger, but I purchased a large and it fit perfect. I am a bit busty and had no problem zipping the jacket...I highly recommend this jacket! One of the other great features this jacket has is the thumb holes on the liner....easy on and off and helped to keep my hands warm. Awesome! December 28, 2011
Love this coat I moved to Minnesota from central Texas this year (whaaaaat) and needed to find a serious coat. I'm so glad I got this one. It keeps me warm but is also just so cute. I ordered the gray stripe with red liner and I get compliments on it all the time. The two pieces are both cute and functional on their own as well. I'm also 6 feet tall, normal build, and the size large fits well. The arms are actually long enough and everything! Definitely a good buy. December 21, 2011
Wonderful Jacket I live in New York. Our winters tend to get pretty cold at times. I bought this jacket because I spend a lot of time outside in the winter and was I freezing cold every single day. A few days back, our weather dipped to the 20s and this jacket was a miracle. I felt completely warm. I had Columbia heavyweight baselayer bottoms on as well. The weather didn't bother me at all, while other people were jumping around trying to stay warm. My only suggestion for this jacket would be to have strings or something of the sort around the waist to have a slimmer fit. Most jackets of this sort are somewhat frumpy. It would be great if this jacket had that one feature. Besides that, this jacket is fantastic. Also, it can be worn through spring and fall because the three layers are ingeniously zipped together. It only takes a few seconds to separate the layers. Each layer can be worn as a separate jacket in a different season. December 20, 2011
Amazing Love this jacket. So warm and cute to boot. November 30, 2011
My daughter really loved the coat. My daugther liked the outer gray color of the coat because it was not solid. She liked the feature of the inner liner being completely removable and can be worn separately. All the pockets and compartments were great but her favorite part were the openings under the arms so she could get air without removing the jacket. November 29, 2011
Very stylish! This is the first colombia coat I have bought. I thought that the omni-heat would perform much better for the price. Although the jacket is stylish, the zipper on the front is stiff and difficult to work in the cold. This jacket did not provide any more warmth ( i live in wyoming) then any other down jacket Ive ever had. I was actually kind of dissapointed because I paid so much for it and felt like I could have purchased a warmer coat for a lot less. November 28, 2011
Warm AND cute! I love all the features in this jacket. All of the jackets have plenty of pockets, a hood, and the liner jacket has thumbholes. It has been perfect for wearing around town. I live in Portland where it rains all the time, so having a hood is a definite must. It is also very lightweight, yet I feel warmer in this jacket than my others. The inner jacket is very bright colored though. You are definitely easier to spot at night. :)I have yet to try out the jacket snowboarding, but I can't wait until this season. It feels so lightweight with plenty of storage pockets. The only thing I didn't like was having the goggle pocket only on the outer liner jacket. So when the jacket is zipped together, you can't really access the goggle pocket. November 21, 2011
Customer Service - Nick K Courteous, extremely helpful, professional - this is why my family shops Columbia!Ann November 20, 2011
Beautiful and Amazing Coat Although I'm not a skier, I purchased this coat because I work in the midwest. We get "lake effect" weather starting in November and running through the end of March. I bought the coat before the winter season starts so that I'm prepared. I'm kind of looking forward to wearing it. It is cut a little snug, not sure if I will be able to squeeze multiple layers underneath it but since the coat itself has so many layers, I might not need anything extra. If I do need lots of layers, the coat has removable ones, so it's simply a matter of taking them out. There are lots of nice pockets, some of them are hidden. It's a really cool jacket and the color scheme (gray/red) is beautiful. I have lots more things in my Columbia wish list and I will slowly start purchasing them before winter really hits me where I live. September 7, 2011
