Excellant Jacket I bought this for a trip to Norway because I wanted a very light weight jacket that is very warm. We haven't went to Norway yet but I have been wearing the jacket around town (Dallas area) and it is exactly what I wanted. Very light weight, very warm but not smothering. Also, I like the styling and cut. I have small shoulders and am small in general. The small might not fix someone larger through the shoulders, but for me, it's perfect! April 13, 2013

Going to Utah I bought tthis jacket because I will be going to Utah at the end of Feb. I have been wearing it here and there on cold days here in Texas and so far it has kept me pretty cozy. I guess the real test will come when I go on my trip to Utah, but I think it will do just fine. It is interchangeable so if need be I can always pair it with a shell for added warmth. Nice jacket but sizing/fit not great This is a very nice jacket, and surprisingly warm. although it's vey light weight. Like many of the reviews mention though, it runs very small. The arms are much tighter than they should be for the size - especially in the armpit area. One size larger and the whole jacket was way too big so that was not an option. If it weren't for the arm fit, I would give this jacket 5 stars. February 1, 2013
Nice Jacket. I can't speak to how this piece performs outdoors. I ordered a Medium and it was snug and very flattering, but there was not enough room to use it as a layer. I had to return it, sadly.The collar was an issue - it was a little too tall. I felt a bit strangled when I zipped it all the way up, but I'm sure a larger size would make it roomier and more wearable.Overall, it was a very good looking piece, and I'd be interested in purchasing it in my true size! Amazing Jacket This is the best little, big, jacket I've ever owned and when I say little, big, I'm referring to it's performance. it is so light weight but so warm it is amazing. It has been 18 to 21 degrees this past week in NY and I have only worn this jacket. It does run a little small I am usually a medium but I ordered a large because of the other reviews saying it ran a little small and I'm glad I did fits perfectly. I can fit a thin sweat shirt underneath but haven't had the need to use one. Do not hesitate to order this one it's perfect. January 27, 2013

Warmest Jacket Ever I saw this jacket in a sporting goods store but they didn't have my size. I checked the website and not only was it available, but cheaper! I received the jacket right before the coldest weather we have had in two years with subzero wind chill. I loved how lightweight it is, but was a little worried about the warmth. Turns out it is the warmest jacket I own and when everyone around me was freezing, I was toasty warm. I do wish it had a hood, and if it was a little longer I would probably be able to get rid of most of my coats. January 22, 2013

Best jacket I've ever purchased!! My sister in law purchased this coat in Texas for skiing. She loved it so much, I tried it on. I couldn't believe the incredible soft feel of the coat, the warmth and best of all the long arms. I loved it so much I immediately went on line and purchased one for myself. Light as a feather This product is awesome! It's the warmest coat I have that weighs practically nothing. I'll be putting it to the test soon when I head to Colorado for a ski trip. I usually wear a small but it seemed just a bit snug in the armpit area, so I ended up with a medium; just in case I wanted to layer more underneath. Warm, comfy and light This jacket is an amazement. I'm neither an outdoors-type or a lover of winter. I am however a hater of bitter cold and bulky, heavy coats. The coat is light as a feather, yet I stayed comfortable during a bitter cold snap where temperatures dropped to -4F. lightweight and very warm coat I am a petite,small woman. This coat is stylish, so light, and very warm. The fit is great,(not too poofy). The collor is so soft, and this is my favorite coat i've ever purchased. This coat is great for shopping , errand running, skiing,or any outdoor activity. It would look great on any size woman. Minor Design Flaws This is a good quality jacket, but the "comfort cuffs" and "thumb holes" are way too tight and uncomfortable and they restrict movement. I wish that Columbia's winter jackets didn't have those restricting features but it seems that most of them do, so I think I will be sending mine back. Buy I guess this is really more of a personal fit preference, so maybe you'll actually find it comfortable. January 15, 2013

Very Pleased with this purchase! I normally wear a small/medium shirt, and went with the medium jacket based on previous reviews. It runs a little on the small side, but overall I am very happy. This jacket is warm, comfortable, and light weight. Exactly what I hoped for. I bought the mystery color and love it. Not really green, not really gray... just wanted something different than black! Love it but its too tight!! I love the color mystery. The jacket is light weight and does keep me warm. I didnt want a jacket that was stiff and this is very soft and not stiff at all. Its very soft and cozy. I used the size chart and even ordered a size up just to be sure and it is still really tight. I am going to it because I do love it!!!And maybe being tight it will hold the heat in better. It does not make nosie when you walk.. I hate jackets that do that!! January 11, 2013
really like this jacket This is my first Columbia jacket. I tried the Mighty Lite III on in the Portland OR store while I was traveling and almost bought it. I regretted not buying in when I got home to NJ but saw this jacket was on sale and decided to purchase this one instead. I really like it. It is not bulky, fits well, I like the form flattering fit and I love the color (almost a deep purple/blue). Seems very warm but it hasn't been that cold in the Northeast yet, so I am hoping other reviewers were right in saying it is very warm. The shipping wasn't super fast, though. I opted for the recycled box which was a bit worn, but the jacket arrived with no damage. January 11, 2013
AMAZING JACKET! Ordered this jacket for a big trip up North and it was AMAZING! The size was true to the measurements given, the omniheat feature kept me perfectly warm without tons of bulky layers, and the fabric of the jacket is water/snow proof. I love this jacket! I live in a warmer climate, so I'm not used to colder temps. This jacket kept me comfortable sitting out in over 2 feet of snow for hours. Definitely highly recommended! January 4, 2013

Women's Kaleidaslope™ II Jacket I love this jacket. I had bought one and accidentally melted the back of it on a space heater. So I ordered a new one. Still have the old...going to get it fixed so I can use it for work.The only thing about the 2nd one, is I was under the impression I was ordering a black jacket with black fur around the collar. It's Grey, like the other one I have. I looked at the picture when I ordered and it was black on black. Also, the hand things in the sleeve are really tight on the 2nd one I ordered. Same size, but it's hard to get my hands in and out of those extention things.Other than that it's a great jacket. Would have given an Exellent rating, had it not been for it running a little small, and the hand things are tight. January 3, 2013
Better than I hoped for This jacket weights nothing! I feared it would warm that way too but it is so effective, works like a charm. It's great for warmth and feels as light as s light summer jacket. I love the look too. I ordered it in white, a daring move as I am always getting into something. I got something pink on the sleeve and washed it, hoping for the best. It came through so well. I can't wait to travel with it, this is the best jacket for that kind of thing like traveling from the snows of Michigan to the warmth of the tropics. It takes no space either! This is excellent. Excellent We have had a very windy winter, so far. This coat keeps me perfectly comfortable. I can wear it on errand days and not overheat when I go in the store. Glad I ordered a size bigger This is my first Columbia jacket so I can't really speak to it compared to other Columbia products, but I love this jacket. I'm the type of person who is always cold and it is amazing how warm this keeps me.For sizing, I would normally be a small (5'5", 130#), but read the other reviews and went with the medium and am happy I did. I think I could have fit into a small with a light shirt under it, but I wanted something that would fit with everything and this does. I didn't have any of the problems with the wrist area being too tight. It has a tight fitted sleeve to keep you warm and has a thumb hole which I love, but it fits the way it should. Love!! I was skeptical to buy this jacket at first cause it is difficult for me to find a good coat. I am very picky about my coats, size ( I'm not a skinny Minnie), fit & color. I bought this jacket as a Christmas present to myself & so far I a m very happy with it. The size is true to size. I would have rated it higher but the color "mystery" is really a mystery. Great Jacket This jacket runs small, but since I purchased in a store I was able to find the size that fit well. I normally wear a medium so I sized up to the large. The hand warmers take some getting used to, I've never had a jacket with this feature. I worried about stains because of the white color since my daughter grabs this jacket all the time, but the dirt around the wrist area came out fine in the wash. The Reviews Were Right! I read all of the positive views & Im glad they were accurate. I wanted a lightweight, warm stylist jacket & thats what I got. Yes I will have to keep on top of the washing since I got it in white, but I was prepared for that. Anyway, this jacket is slimming, definitely warm, I love the soft furry collar ( and I didnt think I would). The wrist/hand warmers are nice, a little tight at first, then they loosen up. I wouldve still loved this jacket even If it didnt have them. Oh, & I cant forget , the price was reasonable!I bought this in a size Small, Im 5'0" petite & busty & I found this to be the perfect size for me. This is great for everyday wear, sporty & stylish. Kaleidaslope jacket I live just outside of Chicago and I'm waiting for some snow and just plane bad weather. I have read other peoples reviews and they are great. I like the way the jacket fits but it does run a little small. I usuly wear a large and I did get it in an XL. the sleaves are a little long but other than that it fits fine. Excellent jacket! I usually have to by tall jackets to get the sleeve length that I need (5' 8" long torso), but this jacket is perfect. I ordered and XL just to have room for a sweater and it is perfect. The Omni Heat is great. Wore this to the World Series in Detroit and I was toasty. Yes, but a few design flaws This is a cute jacket, although I wish I had purchased it in a more original color than black. It is lightweight and warm and perfect for grabbing and going. While I like the built in hand warmer, which reminds me of lululemon jackets, the insert is way too long and makes the arms feel confining. I am a very small person and had to take a small instead of my usual extra small for this reason. I don't really understand the point of making the insert longer than it has to be... Unflattering fit This coat was on the tight size for me and fit weirdly. It "smashes" the bust like a pancake which is very uncomfortable and the arm holes are very small so when all was said and done i looked like a sausage. Unimpressed. December 15, 2012
Just Ok Mystery is just that..it's not gray like I thought. It has a lot of green in it. The collar has these lines in a dark gray that really emphasize that the coat is not gray. Fit is nice but sending back because of color. December 6, 2012
Daughter loved it! I purchased this jacket for my daughter since she is in college and needed a warm jacket, that would not take up a lot of room. We read comments that said you should order a larger size, but we found it was true to size. The insulation is very warm and therefore, I don't see too much of a need to wear thick clothing underneath. The jacket looks wonderful on her and she loves it. The only reason I did not give it an excellent for function is because we have not had it long enough to comment on how it will hold up, etc. December 5, 2012

Great features I received this as a gift and was really surprised by what a great jacket it is! It is way warmer than I expected (I didn't think the omni heat lining would actually do anything--it does!!). It has great features and fit and I love the fuzzy collar. I love my new Columbia jacket It is so lightweight, yet sooo warm! It’s very soft, especially the fleece lined collar, but even the shiny chrome-like reflective lining feels soft. The reflective lining was one feature I worried might be funky, but it’s really not. This is a well-made, stylish looking jacket, sort of reminds me of a fitted leather bomber jacket. One thing I really like is that it isn’t at all bulky to wear while driving. I wore it walking along the Puget Sound in a 45 degree misty rain and was perfectly cozy. I have no complaints about this jacket. I would only say they could make it even better by having a hood. This is my first Columbia brand jacket and I will definitely be looking to Columbia for more jackets of this type in the future. November 16, 2012

How to measure
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
