very disappointed I owned a pair of Columbia hiking shoes that I wore to death and loved! I tried to replace them with this shoe and was very disappointed. The main reason- they shouldn't have omniteched the gusseted tongue. the dual layer is thick and digs into the top of your foot. Why this oversight? I sent them back. June 15, 2011

The most comfortable shoe in the world. I bought these a size up, like I regularly do for running shoes, and the fit is absolutely perfect. I have never, ever worn a more comfortable shoe (and I'm Imelda Marcos in training!). They're shockingly cute for a hiking shoe, and have taken me from Joshua Tree to the Appalachian Trail with absolute comfort and durability. April 4, 2011

Photo misleading When I first put the shoes on they were very boxy and stiff. They needed to be broken in a bit (not something I usually have to do with Columbia)but were very comfortable after that. They still look boxy but with pants that is covered up. The colors were also much darker than on the website and there is quite a bit of white on the back of the heel that I didn't see in the picture. They make my feet look bigger than they are. great shoe I ordered a half size bigger than normal based on reviews but it worked out. The shoe is quite wide and chunky but light. i think i could have ordered my regular size but this also worked out. December 3, 2010

Shastalavista Omni-Tech Shoe The shoe runs just a bit small by the toe box and could be a bit cushier.Sales staff was very helpful with ordering online, however, I wish small size shoes were available in the store for trying on and reviewing. I wear a size 5-5.5 and dislike always having to order online. October 15, 2010
