Great for hot weather! I bought this hoodie to for fishing in a tournament in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I couldn't believe how cool I stayed all day in the heat of Mexico. This hoodie is cute, comfy, and cool. Definitely lived up to my expectations! February 12, 2013

Great idea, great product It's a great idea for this product. I always wanted something that I can wear for going in and out of an air conditioning room, without the hassle of putting on and taking off a jacket constantly. This product made it easy for me! It's good that I can wear this without feeling overheated after leaving an air conditioning room, and it offers good coverage so I don't get too cold when I am in an air conditioning room. The hood is great too as sometimes I will be sitting right underneath the AC air outlet on a bus so the hood made me feel more comfortable in that situation. I can keep this on when it's windy and not too sunny outdoors. However, I do need to take it off if I stay out under the strong sun for too long.I got the geyser color and it looks fabulous. It's the first time I have a top in this color and I am glad I chose this color. The material is good, soft and comfortable. I don't get overheated by it because it doesn't trap moisture due to the Omni-Wick feature, which is very helpful for me as it's humid in Honolulu. It definitely beats the traditional cotton hooded sweater. I usually wear XS for Columbia's clothing, and I got this for XS, which is true to size for me October 4, 2012
Great sun protection I was a river guide in Moab, UT all summer; this hoodie was excellent for uv protection. It got hot in 100+ weather, but get it wet in the river and it cools you off real fast. Plus, the hood makes you feel like a Jedi. I am 5'11" with really long arms and the sleeves were adequate when not extended, and the torso was long enough. The fabric is a little fragile. Great light weight hoodie I've found this the perfect layer for the cooler summer evenings. Being light weight, it gives that extra little warmth. I can leave my heavier jackets or hoodies behind. It even fits in my SLR camera bag making it even more ideal when I'm on a hike. August 15, 2012

Amazingly comfortable! You can't believe a hoodie with long sleeves like this can actually keep you cool and comfortable, but it does. I've worn it on long walks in summer weather and I am more comfortable than my walking partner is wearing short sleeves and slathered with sunblock. In this hoodie, I don't need to put sunscreen on, so right away I am more comfortable!I highly recommend this to anyone who needs sun protection, wants to look stylish/sporty, but wants to stay cool in hot weather. Boating Shirt We recently got our first ski boat and I was hoping this shirt would provide the protection I wanted from the sun while keeping me cool enough to be comfortable sitting in the boat while my boys swim and do other things. I am very pleased with it's performance! We have had an unseasonably warm summer and last week I sat out in 100 degree, cloudless weather protected by the sun and as comfortable (or more comfortable) in the heat as I would have been with any tank or short sleeve shirt! Good sun protection I got the bright yellow hoodie and wore it fishing in a boat and also on a long hot road trip in a convertible. The shirt kept me from sunburn, and probably from heat stroke as well! I was hot and doubting that the cooling features were working until I took the shirt off and began to feel even hotter.I like the styling and the fit and the soft fabric also. I am 5 feet 2 inches and weigh 100 pounds. The extra small is just right, not too tight, not too loose. July 1, 2012
Amazing Sun Shirt I am extremely sun sensitive, to the point that I cannot be in the sun at all. I wore this hoodie to the zoo on an 80+ degree day. I was amazed that not only was I protected from the sun, it really did keep me cooler. I was actually more comfortable than my friends in tank tops. I ordered a second one in another color. Relaxed fit, breathable top I bought this shirt so I could throw it on outside with out having to slather my arms in sunscreen. It's a lightweight material, very breathable. It's a relaxed fit without being baggy. I'm 5'9 and 138 lbs and bought the Small. Arm length is good and I can wear a fitted tank or tee shirt underneath easily. May 7, 2012
Perfect Hoodie! As someone who cannot afford to get a sunburn, I'm always looking for the newest styles in the Omni-shade. This was such a great idea to have a hoodie! It's super light and breaths very easy. It's great for hot weather. Because of the lightness of it, the kangaroo pouch doesn't seem very sturdy. I really wish it had thumb holes. April 28, 2012

Really works! I ordered a bunch of Columbia clothing at once, and I have to say that this one stood out from the crowd. I was skeptical of the omni-freeze technology, but sure enough I was out gardening in the direct sun in 70+ degree weather, and while everyone around me was taking off layers, I found I actually had to go and put another layer ON! As far as I can tell, as soon as you sweat hits the fabric it activates a cooling effect - kind of like stepping in the cool shade when you're all sweaty and immediately feeling a drop in temperature. It's one of my new favorite things to wear. I'm 5'8 and 125 lbs and ordered an extra small, and it's not snug fitting by any means. I could easily still throw a tank top and a tshirt on underneath and have room for this guy on top. Any larger of a size and I would have been swimming in it. Great overall purchase. April 15, 2012
