Constructed of soft twill with a heathered face, it features an Omni-Heat® thermal reflective liner for 20% more warmth and critically sealed Omni-Tech® waterproof breathable technology. Crucial details include an attached adjustable storm hood (trimmed with removable faux fur, of course), adjustable cuffs, pit zips to dump extra heat, Inferno handwarmer pockets, and an abrasion-resistant chin guard.

Perfect for T-rex; Really good for everyone else It's difficult to find a good winter jacket. It's more difficult to find one that doesn't instantly turn you into the Marshmallow Puff Man. Timmy Tom is a good winter jacket that keeps you warm without making you fluffy. It has a good length to avoid cold midriffs and add to the slim profile. Columbia stuck a pocket just about everywhere they could (two inside, two outside, and two itty bitty ones on the chest for chapstick and pennies). Unfortunately, they're all pretty small so don't plan on packing anything bigger than your hands. Like all my Columbia jackets, the hood is magic. It stays up when you want it to, down when you don't. The neck keeps the wind out without making you feel the need to unzip to breath. The velcro on the wind flap takes its job very seriously.I'm 5'4" and almost 120lbs and I've never bruised my knuckles dragging them along the ground. The XS fits well, but the sleeves are a touch short. If you're lanky (which I'm not), you might want to go up a size . December 5, 2011

Too slim of a fit!! I ordered a large in this jacket. Way too slim of a cut, very tight when you move or sit down with the jacket zipped up. I sent this back and decided to try another avenue to find a jacket. I always loved these, but they have to remember we are not all young bodies and would like a little extra room. November 5, 2011

How to measure

Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
