Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice I use it 2~3 days a week to take my work laptop home from the office. I also use it when I visit suppliers. Any design that works well for students, works well for those in casual professional environments (non-suit-types, like mfg engineering). I carry it on the plane during my flights, and find it handier than a laptop or briefcase. October 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Bag Very well designed bag with lots of functionality. Lightweight and comfortable. Versatile for hikes or work carry bag. Used this as a daypack on european vacation and had enough pockets to organize my camera gear and necessities. Highly recommend. I researched a lot of brands and this bag hit the sweet spot for features and price. May 17, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Compact Pack Great backpack, very robust. I've been using it heavily for at least three months now. In terms of outdoor usage, it performs well. Big enough to hold everything you need for a one day outing and then some. Holds up to weather very well. In terms of use for school, it's a little lacking. My 17.3" laptop can hardly make it into the 'dedicated laptop pocket.' The main compartment can hold about 2 1.5 inch binders. Anything more and its squished. Depending on how much you need to take to class you might find it hard to fit everything. Otherwise its a Cons: -The arm bands. They're made of some rubber polymer that has a very high build quality but a MASSIVE amount of friction. They grip onto your apparel like duct tape. This means it fits nice and close, but can be somewhat uncomfortable. -general size. It's a little small for my taste, compact though. I'm a broad shouldered guy so it's pretty uncomfortable to clip the front strap and generally fits a little tight. Personal preference really. February 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Pleased I found this bag to be the perfect carry on when traveling, versatile enough to use if your walking through the city to day packing in the Sierra Nevada's. Yet, I use mine almost every day for my commute to work! The price was excellent and I am very pleased with the storage, the organization and the versatility. I would strongly recommend this product, two thumbs up! November 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Bag I love this Circuit Breaker, it has all I need for a daily pack. I highly recommend this bag! November 25, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Multiple functions A very nice, powerful bag. November 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Travel Companion Only had a chace to put this backpack to the test on two trips thus far, but it is perfect! I love it's versatility. Slip the laptop into its separate easy-to-extract-at-airport padded compartment, load camera gear & jacket & snacks & reading/notetaking material & travel documents into separate, organized compartments - everything handy. Easy to resize this spacious in-transit pack to a slimmer daytripper dimension. The ventilated back panel is definately the answer to years of clammy backs, and the straps adjust to a perfect fit. Could not recommend this backpack with more enthusiam! November 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product This pack is exactly the high quality I expected from Columbia. Very durable construction and solid zippers. There are a tonne of pockets and sleeves for just about anything you want to carry. The size is perfect for my use, however I can see it being a bit tight if you were expecting a full service day pack. As for the laptop pocket, the description identifies it as being able to hold up to 17". I would have to disagree as I have a 17" laptop and it will not fit in the pocket. Up to 15" would be no problem and the soft material is very protective. If I had one that fit, I would feel safe carrying a laptop in the pocket. Overall I am happy with this pack and would recommend it to anyone. It definitely meets the Columbia standards for quality. September 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic! I bought this for school. I love the front pouch that opens up with tons of pockets for everything! Mine is green and grey, and I love the colors! The laptop sleeve is perfect for my macbook, and I love that it's water resistant! Not to mention the hip straps are detachable! I was so excited they were so easy to remove! September 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too many pockets for too little room The main zippered pocket is too small (height, width, and depth), especially if you slip your laptop into the laptop sleeve stitched in behind it. Laptop stays well protected but protection causes an uneven bottom, which forces the pack to fall forward every time you set it down. Ridiculous! It won't sit flat, which is very annoying. There is a lot of wasted space at the top of the pack because, of course, everything you carry falls right to the bottom. Got this pack because I enjoyed my previous Columbia pack. I tried to trick myself into liking it after I started to have some doubts…after all, it did cost over $100. Regrettably, I have to say I am very disappointed with this product. I guess it's just too "technical" of a pack for my needs as a student. It has only two pen/pencil pockets and not nearly enough room for my books and binders together. Caveat emptor! Rated 3 out of 5 by 50/50 I got this product for my laptop, it is 17" in height, and 12.5" in width. It did not fit in the laptop pocket, i have to put it in the middle one but even then is a tight close. If you are wanting to get it for your laptop, see if you could find a bigger one. I got the yellow one and love the way it looks, but like i said i only got it for my laptop since i don't like the shoulder bags. September 2, 2011
