Rated 4 out of 5 by Frosty Freeze Bunting Infant My grandson is going to be very warm this winter in his snow suite. It feel very lightweight and cozy He will be standing out from the rest of the infants this weather. Good selection of color too. November 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE IT! First time buyer of anything Columbia. I bought this, online, for my son for his first snowsuit. I was drawn to the design and color. I don't like "baby" patterns and designs. Took a chance and ordered it. When it arrived I was amazed at the flexibility of the material and the softness and comfort feeling. Tried it on him immediately and it looks great! A bit more than I would of liked to have paid, especially since he will only get one season out of it, but my expectations are high! October 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love hate relationship I purchased this bunting in October 2014 and had a love hate relationship with it. Its super warm and has some great features, but some really annoying issues. It would be a 5, but I subtracted a star for each issue. The AWESOME: - I had my 11 month old son outside on a blue bird 8F day (no wind) for two hours and he was warm and toasty. - The inside body is lined with a soft furry fleece, but the arms and legs are not, so legs and arms are slippery and easy to get on. - The hood is a perfect size for a hat. - My son loved it and would get super excited when I'd take it out to go outside - It is really cute on, much cuter than picture - Down-free so I could wash as much as I wanted - The two times I used it in the car, it compressed well in the car seat, though it is very warm for car trips - Price can't be beat for warmth The Bad... - The sizing was crazy. I ordered the bunting for my then 8 month old son (10th percentile in length and weight, wore 6 mo clothes until 10 months). I first ordered the 12/18 month bunting and it was rediculously HUGE, I sent it back and ordered the 6/12 month bunting and it barely fit my son in leg length, all other dimensions were fine. I also ordered the 6/12 mo snuggly bunny bunting for car rides and that was a full 1" longer in the leg inseam. I suspect the frosty freeze I received was cut incorrectly? My son grew out of the foot cuffs at 11 months and I had to find snow booties...not an easy task. - The insulation provides the water protection. The exterior material was slippery when dry, but would get pretty saturated when my son played in the snow on 17F+ days. Not a big issue in areas with insulation. However, the hand and foot cuffs are not insulated. My son's hands and feet were soaked under the cuffs. Especially since the legs were super short. If you have a crawler or walker, you definitely need snow booties and gloves, the cuffs don't cut it. -The exterior material was not super durable. The foot cuffs have holes scuffed through them (again probably the result of the too short leg length and layering socks before I found booties). There are also a couple rips in the back of the bunting from my son walking in it and rubbing up against something. I would have expected a more robust exterior material for a baby/ toddler bunting. This was our family's third Columbia snowsuit. I'd definitely buy Columbia again, just not sure about anything with the satin-y exterior for little ones. No matter the issues, this suit was warm enough for an 11 mo old to play outside for 2 hours on an 8F day. I'm not sure how many other products on the market are that warm for such a little one. Rated 5 out of 5 by Columbia Snowsuit I was very satisfied with this product. December 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Frosty Freeze™ Bunting – Infant The Frosty Freeze is great, it is like a sleeping bag for kids that they can wear. Very comfortable, great quality, and functional. I would recommend getting one of these for sure if you are bringing any kids outdoors in the winter time! December 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as Expected Material was very light and I didn't feel baby would be warm enough in cold weather. Looks nice, but not insulated enough. I was surprised coming from Columbia winter wear. Unfortunately, I returned it. November 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Cute appearance but poor material and design This winter coat is very cute in terms of the appearance. True product looks better on the baby compare to the picture on the website. However, the quality of the material is a bit disappointing and the technical design is really not very remarkable. First of all, the outer material is way too soft and slippery. Once you put the coat on the baby, it makes it hard to grab. It is very dangerous to try to hold your baby using one arm since it'll intend to slip off your arm. Also it will slide easily on inclined stroller or child seat. Second of all, the zipper is designed rather poorly. Each time you try to zip up the coat, you must do it in extreme care and in a very slow manner since it jams the inner material easily and the zipper will get stuck. In terms of comfort and warmth for the baby, I think this product is fair. My baby stays cozy inside and I believe it can stand -15 to -20 Celsius. November 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bear Suit! I bought it for 5 months old son. My family loves outdoors. We take my son for a walk twice everyday since he was 2 weeks old. My wife call it "Bear suite" , yes literally it is. My son loves it and is very happy to wear this everytime we go out. We went on day hiking in 24F ! it kept him warm!! November 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice and Toasty Great insulation, but I wish the flaps over the hands and feet were insulated. Definitely need some warm socks or booties inside to keep the toes warm! November 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the best Awesome product, I purchased it for my 7 month old I bought 18-24 months its bigger than him but you can fold it at the arms and legs or just leave it be. I haven't used it yet but when I do I update my review. October 18, 2014
