Giving Back
The focus of our Global Donation Program is to give internationally yet impact locally. Support is primarily provided through two programs: the Summit III program for support exceeding $2,500 (in-kind, cash, or combination) and our 5.4 program for grants up to $2,500. Columbia also provides support through several other programs, including Rethreads, Community Relations Pro Purchases, and employee volunteerism.
The Summit III program is built around a three-part model, which allows organizations annual eligibility for up to three years of proposal submissions. Once we review and award support to a group, we welcome them to reapply the following year. There is no fourth-year eligibility in order to allow new organizations the opportunity to join the Summit III program. Organizations can then reapply for annual support once they have completed their fourth year of ineligibility.
We hope you will find our program as exciting and as rewarding as we do! Click here as your first step toward experiencing the Columbia Sportswear Summit III program.
