Men’s Airgill™ Convertible Pant
I love all the convertible pants but this one witch allows air to enter around the legs is awesome, didn't realize how much I would enjoy them until after I had used them. A+++

Comfortable daily wear
I wear these pants almost daily in the summer (as shorts) and they are lightweight and comfortable. Although, not the most durable. One small tear after one season isn't bad, and sacrificing the heavy duty fabric for comfort is worth it to me. Tip - The fossil color is more of a khaki that grey.

Great warm weather pants, terrible pockets
I used these pants in the low desert where the weather regularly climbed well above 100F. I found these pants to keep me cooler than other hot weather convertible pants I've worn, and the vents really help to make the most out of a stifling environment. I was worried that the thin, flimsy looking material wouldn't stand up to the harsh desert terrain, but they have stood up well against the rocks and cacti.
My only complaint is that I immediately encountered the same unstitching of the waist/hip pockets. The zippered pocket remained intact, but the waist pockets became useless after the first wear.
These pants are great in hot weather, just be prepared to not use your pockets or you'll be fumbling for your keys and change lost deep in your pant leg.

Another great pant from Columbia!!
The Airgills are my fifth pair of Columbia pants, and I can't say enough praise about them. The extra venting is a great option. Comfortable and feature loaded.

Poor stitching in pockets
During my first wear the stitching in my pockets began to separate with little to no stress applied. I was very disappointed that it happened on my first wearing of the pants.

Great fit, stay cool in the heat.

Very light weight and comfortable
I'm not a fisherman but I needed a pair of convertible summer pants and this pair pretty well fills the bill. My one problem is that the main pocket design allows small change to slide out if I'm slouching back in my chair. Yeah... I should improve my posture, but...

I ear these pants to dialsys because it gives access for my thigh port.
It does live up to claim of being "blood resistant". The tech spilled some my blood on the pant and came right off.

Great high activity pants
I work outdoors for a living in some pretty extreme environments. This last summer I worked in the desert of Southern California. In temperatures over 100 degrees I was looking for something to keep me cool. These Airgill Convertible pants are by far the best thing I have found. I prefer them to Columbia's other desert pants. My only complaint is that the front pockets are closed with stitching on the front of the pants. The flaw to this is that the stitches pop the first time you bend down sending your keys and change down to you knees. If you are looking for high performance, breathable pants this is my pick, just don't mind digging for you keys lost somewhere within the pants leg.

pockets stitching horrible
I just read the other two reviews and exact same thing with me. Right pocket's stitching came completely apart after wearing TWICE. Horrible quality for so much money. Pockets are vital for keys/wallet/phone.

Not Durable/Useless Pockets
After wearing these pants one time my keys ripped the pocket wide open and the stitching started coming unraveled. The pockets are way too small for anything and everything falls out. I do like how thin they are but they could be designed a little better to hold up a little more than they do now. It feels like you are practically wearing nothing which I like being I wear these at work in the heat. $80 pants should hold up a lot better than this. Fix the pockets and durability and these will be great pants.

Really liked the pants, very lightweight, cool, and comfortable. Only problem I have had with them is after only wearing them one time the stitching for the pockets are coming apart.
