Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baselayer Product is awesome. Keeps your warm while moving in the cold. And nice and toasty under covers in bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good thing for baselayer I bought this thing for active winter sports. Usually winter is cold in Russia. Approx . 15-25 degrees C.. In these conditions Omni-Heat showed itself with good side. It keeps body warm and dry. Nice baselayer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Still Cold I bought this after hearing good reviews about the heavyweight one, but being restricted to the colors of white and black, I could only find the midweight in my size and the right color. Despite this, I decided that I'm a warm enough person that I wouldn't need too much extra material to deal with the cold. I was wrong. It felt exactly like my regular shortsleeve compression shirts from Under Armour, but with long sleeves. I was hoping that maybe I was just mistaken the first time, so I wore it a few more times to see if I was wrong, but to the same effect. I eventually went back to wearing my regular compression shirts as they felt better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs really well Love the midweight base layer. I am about 6ft 190lbs and normally wear a large base layer as I like them slightly baggy. This fits just as expected. The omni heat tech is great and is a perfect mix of wicking and warmth. Love this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sleaves don't fit well The sleaves are a little long, tight, and don't fit well in the pits. However it is a good baselayer and helps keep you warm

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around Great! I got this midweight baselayer long sleeve to wear at work during the day, as I am constantly in and outside. The baselayer keeps me warm with just a button up shirt over it. The size was right on and fits me perfectly (about 5'10" 160 lbs.) The fit is comfortable and the material feels soft enough for comfort yet very durable. Great product for warmth, very light weight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't seem to work I bought this shirt hoping for significant warmth as a baselayer. Under a sweatshirt and jacket at 27 degrees, it wasn't as warm as another performance shirt under a polo shirt and jacket in 17 degrees. I always thought the other brand was a lot of hype but apparently not. This shirt is described as midweight but it is thin and like a compression shirt. The armholes were somewhat tight and sleeves were too long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shirt Great warm shirt. Use them daily in winter as an undergarment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Used the product for a 8 degree run baselayer. Warm and dry. When I changed later, the baselayer was dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fall/Winter Shirt! I bought this shirt for my husband for his birthday...I obviously haven't worn it but based upon the number of times its landed in the laundry basket in the two weeks he's had it I think its safe to say he loves it! Most recently we went on a snowy hike in the Rocky Mountains and he left the car with just this base layer, a tshirt and a windbreaker. I asked if he was going to grab his zip up as well. He said "naw, I have my Columbia base layer on, I won't need it". And he didn't. The omniheat of this base layer is legit! As far as fit - he is 6ft and 150lbs or so and has the medium. It is a loose fit which he likes. He can easily wear it as a layer or as his only shirt, depending upon weather. Photo -- snowboarding in just base layers, he is wearing the Medium Mid Weight in gray! Gotta love early season in Colorado!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from baselayer great in the winter Bought a set of middleweight baselayer top and bottom in Chicago last year while freezing at a conference. They are superb. I ended up using them throughout the winter in Colorado Springs both under a flight suit and while enjoying outdoor sports. They are the perfect match of warmth and functionality, but breathe enough to avoid soaking with perspiration (e.g. while skiing). I highly recommend. Admittedly, they are a bit pricey for a set of long-johns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product The Men's Baselayer Midweight Long Sleeve Top is a great replacement for the thermal underware of old. Granted, there are only a few days a year that I need some extra warmth here in the Lower Keys but when I do, this base layer is all that is required. There are some sizing issues but overall, I love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from too small I own over 20 shirts/fleece/sweaters of Columbia and this was not even close to being an XL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Base Layer This base layer kept me warm when the temperatures got down to the 30's. It is nice and snug as it should be. I've washed mine a couple time and hang it up to dry and I haven't had any problems. I wore this base layer set in my sleeping bag and got really warm. Great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Body fit runs very small Ordered an XL, body is very tight
Date published: 2013-02-03
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs small I am a plus size woman and since Columbia does not provide much for me I had to order a mens product. I miss having color selections and the sleeves are way too long for a woman. I would have been extremely satisfied had I been able to get a woman's fit
Date published: 2013-01-31
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a quality product but the sizing needs improvement. I normally wear a large with no issues. I ordered a large and the fit was very tight around the arms and shoulders while the sleeves were probably 2-3 inches too long. The garment itself is well made so my advice is to try it on before you purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Baselayer Keeeps me warm enough with several layers and a large down parka when its below zero (F) . Sleeves are a little long, but give protection between the jacket and gloves. Tight fit, but more form fitting than "compression" fit. Don't even notice I'm wearing it. Have it in blue and in black, as well as the pants. Can't recommend enough. Omni-heat is fabulous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's baselayer midweight top Love this piece. It runs a little narrow and long, but is warm and breathable. Time will tell if it wears and washes well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As never before Enough to be out working, playing or walking, It is one of the best baselayers on the market , its will keep you so warm, is wanderfull, Afeter try the first baselayer I been Order 3 more to pass the Winter at Waterdown, Hamilton, Canada. Congratulation to Columbia for this. Technology, and quality Fernando

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite on the mark I would recommend but with a disclaimer. The medium was to small and to tight in the arm pit with sleeves a bit to long. I had to order an Large which fits better even over my undershirt and is still snug in the arm pit and the sleeves are 4 to 5 inches to long. I am more comfortable temperature wise but for the money the garment could fit better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally warm, and not bulky I think the omni heat feature is fantastic! It is light weight, not bulky and comfortable. In a suitcase it takes up very little room . I have been out in the wind and cold and do not get cold while wareing it. Looks great under a military uniform or as a shirt when off duty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from sleeves too long Sleeves too long, reached pass my fingertips. However, body was true to size. Noticed a tear near a seam and had to return item.
Date published: 2012-11-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great base layer for cycling This base layer provides warmth without bulk. It fits nicely under a snug fitting winter jersey.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong product for me. Bought a $40 shirt, 6$ to ship, $15 to return because it did not fit. Not a way that I will be doing business in the future.
Date published: 2012-11-20
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great underlayer for winter golf This one thin layer will keep you warn with another T-shirt on top of it. I also have a pair of baselayer tight I brought last year, very happy with those too. I will get another top when I get new offers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features The baselayer worked great, and required fewer outer layers to keep warm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ridiculously long sleeves This would be an excellent and very warm baselayer shirt if the sleeves weren't ridiculously long. They extend down to the end of my thumb. If you've got arms like an orangutang, then this shirt will work. If not, look elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will get another one Bought one for my husband. Very warm and soft. I'm getting one for myself.
Date published: 2012-05-01
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm thin baselayer, but may need to size up Performs as expected in 10 degree weather but runs small and bunches up on me. I normally take Large in tops like this but if you are not slender, suggest you size up, then you will not regret this purchase at all! I use this top walking outdoors or driving with window open at night. I deliver newspapers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Baselayer! I have used this product along with the matching pants a few times this winter in Northern Wisconsin for snowmobiling and I could not be happier with them! I have been able to shed an entire layer since I started wearing this, it is light, extremely warm and comfortable. Great product, can't wait to use it for fishing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Baselayer Midweight Long Sleeve Top I purchased this clothing item to replace my cotton thermal shirt, and to tolerate the sub-zero Chicagoland winters. The only thing I can say is "perfection".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good! I bought this for my husband's birthday. He works outside all day, on top of roofs and ladders. This works well since it doens't restrict his movement at all. He said he could really feel his arms being warmed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I used this for hiking and sailing as a baselayer. Fits greats and will keep you warm. Note its a midweight. Therefore you may need a little extra to keep you warm depending on how well you deel with the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from like mithril first cold weather base layer purchased. this thing is pretty awesome. It'll keep you at a great, comfy temperature if it's a bit breezy or cool outside. This effect is greatly reduced if exposed to wind (i.e. layering with short sleeves), but this can be used to your advantage based on the outside temp and how much moving you'll be doing. Also doesn't stink up very much at all. The shiny omni-heat dots are pretty nifty too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it , Warm, lightweight layer As a runner, I bought this for running in cooler weather and for layering when it gets downright cold. I thought the omni-heat dots might be a gimmick but was surprised at how warm I stayed while running on a morning in the low 30s. It was plenty breathable and surprisingly comfortable. Definitely a new favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm Warm Warm!! When I first saw that Columbia was introducing a new base layer I was hoping it would be something that fits close to the body. Sure enough it was exactly that along with the Omni Heat! I wore this to a very cold football game and was warm all quarters! Bravo Columbia!
