Rated 5 out of 5 by Function with Style Great jacket. Blocks the wind and provides good warmth in 40 degree temperature. Very good looking soft-shell, black with blue zipper. Jacket collar is high when zipped up. The hood works great alone or over baseball hat. I bought the large and it fits great. 5'9" 160 lb. January 13, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beefy This is being worn quite a bit during USSA Alpine race training. It definitely protects you from the elements....love it. January 12, 2017
Rated 3 out of 5 by Looks great, but too small I wanted to love this jacket. It looked well-designed and well-made and it was the perfect weight -- not too warm, but warm enough. But it was too small. It was a medium -- my normal size -- but very tight in the chest and in the arms. Maybe it would work if worn over a light t-shirt, but even an ordinary long-sleeve shirt made it too tight. Reluctantly, I sent it back. (I have not had this problem with other Columbia products. As I write this I'm wearing a Columbia fleece in size medium and it fits perfectly.) December 29, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a winter coat I bought this jacket for my husband with the intention of using it as a winter coat (I live in the SE US; our winters are mostly >20deg F). When I received it, I found that it was more of a fall jacket. I received the jacket within the promised time and the quality of the material was excellent. However, I will be returning this product with the intention of buying something heavier from Columbia. December 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Love it, wish I had bought two. December 23, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disapointed Tight fitting, especially in the arms, no way to wear layers underneath this jacket, and not warm enough on its own. Wind cuts right thru it, no windblock ability at all. Loaded up with features such as a hood, and waist draw string that would make one think this could be used in harsher weather, but what good is a waist draw string to keep out drafts if the fabric itself doesn't keep out drafts? Might be ok for a cool summer night or warm fall weather. But I honestly don't understand what this jacket was made for. December 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Multipurpose Jacket This jacket is great for windy days, light drizzle days, and moderately cold days. It's my go-to, all-weather jacket for variable conditions in the early spring and late fall. The hoodie was an odd shape, but it's removable. So, I just took it off. Also, the collar is a bit "tall," but it's okay. I'm 6' tall and 185lbs. The medium fits me well. December 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is Awesome.. This is honestly a must have product. Its really warm even in really cold temperatures. December 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST Jacket I've ever had This Jackey is really nice. It fits well and the outside layer is meant for weather while the inside layer keeps you warm, which is exactly what I wanted. The hood part is removable which I thought was pretty neat as well. I would reccommend this Jacket if your looking for something that isn't to big, casual looking, weather protective and can still keep you warm. November 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good coat Good coat I like the fact that the head is removable. It's a medium weight jacket good for everyday use. It would not be my snow jacket. With that said recommend it. November 10, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Recommended with Concerns I love jackets. I ran a sport fishing boat in Alaska for 10 years...so I kind of get into this sort of thing. The jacket definitely runs a little small. I'm a usual medium, had to send back for the large. The material isn't your high quality soft shell like (north f***), but it is good to take the bite out and repel a little bit of moisture. The cuffs are strangely large and intended to be adjusted for normal wear. The hood is good, and is acceptable when closed up tight. There are hem adjusters, and the area where your mouth rests on the jacket when zipped up 100% is comfy...worth the price, but not premium quality. But *good* quality. November 8, 2016
