Great Jacket Love this jacket. Compresses into the pocket for easy carry. Very warm! I'm 5'9 220 and a large fits great. So the sizes run big. December 11, 2014
Great compact down jacket for a giant. First off the original jacket I ordered was a medium. I have always ordered between medium to large depending on the company and style of jacket. After receiving the jacket it was huge. Maybe even big for a large size. After calling Columbia they sent me out a new one so I can send back the smaller size. I am now wearing the small and it fits great, very lightweight, and decently warm. This jacket is not going to be your 30 degree go to jacket but maybe throw under your rain jacket or a colder 45 degree day no problem. It is extremely lightweight and even packs into its own pocket for storing. My only other gripe with the jacket is I think its about an inch too long, maybe just my preference. December 8, 2014
Climbing Kilimanjaro Oct 2014 My wife and I have just returned a few weeks ago from climbing Kilimanjaro. It was supposed to be the dry season, but on Day 2 it started snowing and raining almost constantly for the next few days. I had a Omni Heat puffy which I wore almost every awaken hours for most of our trip. The fit was perfect, and the lightness made it so easy to wear. You don't feel you are wearing a jacket at all. (As a side note, we also had sleeping bag liners with Omni-heat coating, and they also made a big difference in comfort) Your products made a HUGE difference in making our trip awesome - staying dry and warm while most were miserable around us. We summited without a hitch. Please keep up the great work! Love your products. October 16, 2014
