No Drawstring = No Sale anymore Look, I own a zillion of these vests, I love them! However, I see they have dropped the DRAWSTRING! That's Bad News!!! Now I have to go shopping around, I didn't want to do that, I like Columbia products. Zippers and Drawstrings are what add quality to these vests. I'm disappointed Columbia, you should of asked for the buck or two and retained the quality. April 21, 2013

Vests used by Non-profit Organization For 2 years we have ordered overall ~30 of these vests, to be used by our non-profit's Board and Staff members during field work in Oregon. They have been both utilitarian (keep folks warm!), as well as looking professional and fashionable. We have had our vests embroidered with our organization's logo, and it works really well on the material. Would highly recommend! April 3, 2013

Great product needs a little help just what I needed, a lightweight fleece vest, the garment would be infinately better with an elastic draw string so I had one put in and weirdly the zippers on the 2 pockets zip downwards which is awkward, should zip up! other than that does just what it says on the box.NB bought a L fleece recently that I had to return as it was way too small, this garment perfect fit March 29, 2013
Great Product. Good Price. I have always liked Columbia products. They are well made and very durable. I needed a lightweight but warm fleece vest and this fit the bill perfectly. Even Girls Like the Men's Fleece Vest! I am a full size woman who was having problems finding a 2x size in a women's fleece vest. So I decided to purchase the men's fleece vest instead. I am using a man's large and I love it. I don't like to have my arms covered because it feels constricting when I where my ski jacket. These vest are the best. Winter vest My husband loves his Columbia vests. He now has 3. They wash well, fit well, and keep him warm. We had bought a couple from another company and found that they looked "used" upon the first washing. Columbia is worth the cost. February 2, 2013
Looks Great, Won't Keep You Warm This is a good vest when used for the right reason - appearance. I wouldn't buy it to keep me warm on a cold night. Not 'paper-thin' or 'horrible quality' like some reviewers complain about. I wear a medium for most Columbia apparel, but small was definitely the right size for me in this case. Consider ordering a size smaller than you usually do. I'm pleased with this purchase. Overall, I think it gives you a great bang for your buck. January 31, 2013

Phone Representatives Know the Products I was doubtful about the size to get for my husband. He is between Small and Medium for most vests/shirts/jackets. After discussing this on the phone with the representative, we chose medium and the fit was perfect. She was also able to describe the color accurately since online photos are not always quite the same as the product. The quality of the vest is excellent, the item arrived within 3 days of ordering, and my husband put the vest on immediately. He was pleased so I was pleased. December 27, 2012

I have worn out the other black vest I've owned for 7 years now and couldn't find it where I normally shop, so I ordered this one. Still the lightest weight, best fit and longest lasting. Not what I was expecting I purchased three Cathedral vests online which were delivered promtly and at no charge. I have owned several Columbia products through the years ranging from winter coats, boots, vests, etc.. I always felt that my decision to purchase was influenced by the quality of the Columbia product.I was dissapointed to see that the quality of these vests was not the same or comparable to vests I already own from Columbia. The material did not feel as heavy and the quality of the fit was not there. On the older vests there was an elastic on the waist to comfort fit the garment which is missing on the new ones. I will probably not stop buying Columbia products but I will be hesitant to make online purchases without first inspecting the item up close. Shipping was free, but returns are not...unless you have an outlet nearby. December 6, 2012

Runs small :-( I have 2 other Columbia vests in the closet so I could, and DID, check the correct size for fit before I ordered BUT :-( this vest runs small so I must returned it for an exchange. I am NOT happy about having to pay for the extra shipping.Product fabric quality is fine, which is why I making an exchange.I could recommend this vest IF you know the exact measurements for fit and do not go by previous Columbia products. Okay I had purchased this same vest a few years ago and was very happy with the quality. It came time to purchase a new one which I did. The style of the vest I received although the same as the previous one did not have the same bulk. It is a bit thinner and feels a bit cheaper. November 5, 2012

Great vest but..... Had several Columbia vests in the past. New I couldn't go wrong. Love the vest, material all the good stuff. Only problem is I feel size wise it runs a little small. Usually XL is good for me but I had to go up to XXL. Other than that I can't complain. October 14, 2012
grrest lookng vest I was given a school colors vest in this style and I liked it so much I bought another for its comfort and functional fit for active life. It lays flat and is not too bulky but keeps you warm. Medium fits my moderatley slender frame better than large (6'2"). October 10, 2012

How to measure
- Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
