great stuff I'm really happy with this piece. I was going to get a top shelf brand but got this one because it was less money. I think the Columbia is a better coat than what I was looking at before.Columbia has been really upping there game the last 3 years and it really starting to show. Wish it was a little warmer Great product. Very nice looking and well built. It isn't quite as warm as I was expecting it to be. It looked like it was a little thicker fleece in the photo. Also, the fit is true to size. I think it could feel warmer if it fit a little more snug than mine does. March 11, 2013

Good enough for Minnesota I bought this jacket last month as a replacement for a heavy winter coat, hoping that it would live up to the claims made for Omni-Heat, and am delighted to say that it does.It is much lighter than my old coat, but has worked just as well in this first part of the Minnesota winter, with temperatures down around +10 F. I wear it as the outer layer of these four:1. The 100% polyester jacket2. A 50/50 cotton-polyester heavyweight long-sleeved hoodie3. A cotton chambray long-sleeved shirt4. A V-neck short-sleeved cotton undershirt.I especially appreciate the full zip; I haven't needed to add my fleece scarf to keep my neck warm in the cold wind.Only caveat I have is that the zipper is a light-duty one, with small teeth. I'm using this jacket in an XL size over my 46" waist, and am afraid I'll put too much stress on the zipper over time, but for now it works fine and zips to a good snug fit at my hips. Great for NorthEast Cold Bought this for my dad, he loves it, can wear in any type of cold weather with just a layer under, and it will keep you very warm. Also, it isn't bulky like most winter jackets, def recommend if you want something light and functional. December 21, 2012

How to measure

Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
