Men’s Gallatin Range™ Wool Bib 4.7 5 10 10
Excellent Bibs! I just received my bibs and they are exactly what I have been looking for. They will be with me on every hunting trip I take. Thanks August 7, 2015
Very Nice! I'm 6'1" and a medium is almost too big, so definitely order a size smaller than usual. Quality is good and these keep me very warm. Material is not as scratchy as my other wool products. I hope Columbia keeps making these wool products into the future. March 19, 2015
very impressed Every year I have at least one day in the field when I am just plain cold! Not this time. The average temps. were in the 'teens, with one day dropping to 8 deg. I'm not usually a fan of Bibs (I usually feel constricted) but I'm glad that I got these. I'm 5'7" 160lbs I got the large to have room for layers. The shoulder straps were a perfect fit out of bag, I have 2-3" of space on each side so theirs room to twist and turn, but they were about 8" too long. Being at my parents house in Missouri, I cut them and my mom sewed the bottom to keep them from unraveling. The pockets are big with lots of room. There worm, soft, and quiet. I washed them in cold water gentle cycle and hung them to dry and they still fit fine. I should have gotten these years ago. November 30, 2014
These run large and super long! My husband loves the Columbia wool hunting clothes, he's been wearing them for over 10 years. Last month I purchased a new set and the coat was great but the bibs ran really large. He always wears a L and sometimes XL in things, I had to exchange bibs for a MED. He has never worn a med., but these were huge on him and 3 or 4 inches too long, he has a very athletic build, 204lbs. 6'1" and he had to get a Med., crazy but just so you know! On a side note these are great and warm but not as functional as the wool pants he previously had. He can't wear a belt and carry a pistol with these bibs and it just makes things a little bulkier. Please bring back the wool pants! November 15, 2014
Bibs I have used these bibs in the brown camo for many years. Mostly abused, guideing hunters, hunting myself and trapping. They are showing wear in spots, on the inside bottom parts of the legs and in the butt. Nothing a needle and thread hasn't taken care of. More then impressed with this product. I like them so much that I am getting a pair in the snow pattern. They run a little large to size in my opinion. You won't go wrong with these. I am 5'9" tall and 140 lbs. Size small fit me best. as advertised a great deal for the wool bibs. the wool fabric is a heavy tight weave, looks to be durable and I know it will protect from cold. November 27, 2012
Good alternative to the Expedition Ridge Wool Pant These are an excellent alternative to the Expedition Ridge Wool Pant. I have both and like each of them for their function. They do run large but a smaller size will not accomodate layering. the legs do not taper at all so when they are shortened for size, the leg holes are huge. This is the only drawback I can see as the large leg holes snag on limbs and sticks. Gaitors are a must with these in snow! October 31, 2012
Well made I have not yet worn the bibs, but the quality and workman ship appear excellent. I am also pleased with the relatively light weight. Alteration of the length are required before I can test the garment. June 29, 2012
Awesome! I searched and researched for a pair of wool bibs. The sheer range of wool clothing prices and products on the market can make one pull his or her hair out but I decided to try these since almost every review I read whether on this site or one of the other "big outfitters", were positive. I bought them and they were EXACTLY what I was hoping for, warm, comfy, roomy but not too big, true to size, just perfect! Make sure you order according to their sizing chart, I am 6'4'', 220lbs and I got the XL and it fit perfect. They come full length, unhemmed so you can fit your own length!!! I love that! I chose the snow camo for Arizona. April 15, 2012
Love it. I bought the bib and the jacket for a late fall/early winter camping trip in Montana at the base of the rockies. It was supposed to be snowy and near 0 but Montana weather did what it wanted and it was actually around 45 during the day. This gear was way too warm for that kind of weather. As long as you are sitting its not terrible wearing the full gettup but as soon as you get moving you definitely will work up a sweat pretty fast. I ended up needing just the jacket and even in the early morning when it was closer to freezing I'd have to layer down after the steeper climbs. Since then I've worn the full gettup during a pretty heavy snow storm + 40 mile an hour winds with a set of thermal underwear on underneath. I could feel the wind getting through a little bit but still felt comfortable and only got a little chilly even when sitting and being inactive for over an hour. Im not sure what the temp was that day, i think low 20s. I get cold pretty easily so the average person could probably handle more and still be comfortable. Another pro for these pants is the material is completely quiet, and its wool so they keep you warm even if you get wet. The material does catch some stickers but not nearly as bad as some of the material my hunting buddies were wearing, so I would say that is another pro. For sizing i think they run just a little big. I am a 5 ft 6 inch girl and weight about 145 lbs, average build. I got the medium pants because thats what i usually wear for men's outerwear but with these I have an extra 3 or 4 inches on either side of my waist and the suspenders are cinched to as short as I could get them. If i was going to do it over again i could probably fit in a small a little more comfortably but even in these I am able to move around in them perfectly fine. Great gear. November 28, 2011
