Rated 5 out of 5 by WARM NOT BULKY Exactly what I wanted, warm not bulky. I'm 6'2" 280 and work in delivery. inside the outside North Dakota winters are cold and windy, this jacket gets it done! July 20, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by TurboDown 650 TD Leaves you with a wet clamy feeling The 650TD keeps you dry and relitively warm. When worn for extended time you feel wet and clamy from the jacket. Serves the purpose, but the jacket leaves you feeling uncomfortable for extended wearing. April 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coat for cold weather I'm tall 6'6" so I need a big and tall coat. This one worked out great. Light weight but warm at the same time. Good quality at a great price. March 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Roomy & warm but needs pockets. I love this jacket. It is warm and roomy and very light weight. I purchased this item specifically due to it being available in extended sizes and tall options. This was intended for layering under a hard goretex shell for extended outdoor winter play. Since I'm built like an NFL linebacker and like to layer for optimum warmth and protection, there are few choices for oversize options out there. I am 6'2" and weigh abt 315. I normally wear a 3 xl tall. Needs at least one interior and exterior slash pocket. February 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing jacket Amazing jacket. It's so light, compact, but very warm. Can't feel any wind in it. I've been wearing it in wind chill factors of 8 degrees, and I'm very warm in it. I'm a big guy, 3XL Tall and the jacket fits comfortably. If you are a "perfect" size you might want to think about dropping down a size as I think the jacket runs a little large; but it fits me great. February 13, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by The Wet Look's Not For Me This looked like the jacket I wanted online, but the real thing is far more shiny than the photo shows. Sending it back. February 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warmest Jacket I have ever owned I live in one of the coldest places in the lower 48 at an elevation of 6600' ft and winter lasts for at least seven months. Just got this jacket and it is extremely warm. As far as the size goes it is true to fit. I am 6'4" / 350 lbs and with a 4XLT I still have more than enough room to layer. I would definitely recommend this jacket January 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but not Great I wear XLT and the sleeves of this coat fit very well. However, the length of the coat is short for tall person. It definitely looks longer in the pictures than it really is. It also doesn't have a cell phone pocket at all. In this day and age, a cell phone pocket is expected, at least by me. Now on the very positive side, this coat is very warm. I was shocked when the box arrived and it felt empty. The coat is very light. However, do any activity at all and you will start to get very warm. They got this part right. January 29, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as warm as advertised This purchase has made me leery of making bigger purchases online. It was advertised as "the warmest, softest and lightest-weight jacket we make". It is soft and light, but very much not warm. I first tried it out here in Chicago. I wore it over a sweater in the low 20s and froze. It is being returned. It's nice, it fits, but is definitely not a winter jacket in a region of the country that actually has a winter. Oh, and now I have to pay for return shipping. Bummed out. January 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tall guy finds size its not easy to find high quality clothing that fits January 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good jacket Good jacket pretty warm. Nice and light. Black is well Columbia black. Close enough. It's warm and wind resisant. It is light but runs a little small in the shoulder area and is not a long as I expected for a tall. Im a 3xlt but I ordered a 4xlt. All in all would buy again. Warm and super light weight. Rated 4 out of 5 by TurboDown Men's Jacket I bought this to replace an 11 ounce 850+ down fill-jacket which I used in ultralight backpacking; this jacket weighs in at 27 ounces in a large tall which was something of a disappointment when saving a couple of ounces is important. There is only a little "puff" to this jacket, which was a surprise, yet the down and synthetic fill still seem effective, and coupled with the silvered lining, this jacket gave good warmth alone and under a shell in very cold weather. The sleeves do not have drawstring closures or elastic, so they are "open" to the outside air. There was enough room to allow layering under the garment if that were required. January 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great, Comfortable, Warm Coat I live in Alaska, so I needed a comfy, warm coat for the winters here. Coat was shipped quickly here and now I'm wearing it all the time. However, I rated the sizing a bit small. According to the size chart, it seemed an XLTall would have been the right fit for me. I'm 6'6'', 260lbs, a big guy with a slightly above average belly, but still for tall guy, I have an average build, so I ordered the XLT first. When I tried it on though, it was a little small, especially in the armpit area. So I returned it, and reordered a 3XLT, and that was the one for me. I am very happy with this coat, and plan to use it for a long time! January 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket I had a hard time finding a nice down jacket in a tall size, I need the extra length, this jacket is perfect. Great fit, high quality, warm too. December 9, 2014
