Men’s Heavyweight II Stretch Baselayer Tight is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for some things, not others I wore these for the first time while steelhead fishing on the Clackamas River in temperatures at freezing to a bit below. They kept me from getting chilled but not warm; on the whole no better than polypro long underwear that I bought at REI many years ago. They do keep you warm if you are active but not if you are sitting still.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid Completely! These may be OK when one is active, but the thermally reflective surface gets cold against your skin when touched by the slightest breeze. I work in security, and it entails a lot of hours standing guard in the winter cold. I am a veteran and now work in government security. The first time I wore these I was shivering within 30 minutes of starting my shift, and it was in the 40's. The next day I tried them with another layer, made by Techwick, under them, and I still felt the silver dots get cold and clammy. The jackets actually work as intended, and that's what drove me to waste my money on this garbage. Please avoid my mistake and get something else if you are a soldier or security professional. Apologies to Columbia, I am sure they are nice people, I just care too much for the people I have worked with, some of whom have lost their lives protecting others. Best wishes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavyweight II Baselayer Purchased this for duck/goose hunting and fishing on those cold damp winter days. Very light weight, complete freedom of movement, wicks sweat away from your body after a rigorous workout setting up and bringing in decoys. All I can say PERFECT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from heavyweight baselayer I have been looking for a good baselayer for some time now. I have tried just about every manufacture out there. They just would not fit right, the material would not feel good or they be full of static witch I can't stand. This baselayer is the only one I found that fit true to size felt good kept me warm in 30 degree weather and kept me cool when I started sweating. I plan on buying another pair to have as a extra.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This product has great features I received a pair as a Christmas gift. I like the feel. They where even able to find them in a tall, which is amazing. It's so nice to have something long enough, even if they did have to go to the men's department for it. I was looking forward to the warmth of long johns from my youth, and I just didn't get that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Bought these as a Xmas gift for my brother in law who is a salesman at a car dealership and has to fight the winter cold - going in and out of the showroom all day. He was looking for a quality pair for a long time and he just loves them. His best Xmas gift! Thanks Columbia!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not warm I love the Omni heat products but this one is not warm. At only 32 degrees outside I could feel the air through these and my pants. I would not recommend them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Baselayer I was excited to get these pants and use them under my ski pants when i skied. I wore them on a pretty warm day under my ski pants thinking they were going to keep me warm. Big mistake! These did not keep me warm at all. I was cold. The material was great and price was good. I was bummed the micro beads didin't do their job. These pants should be labeled medium weight instead of heavy weight. My long johns keep me warmer than these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In a Tight Spot This is another outstanding product from Columbia Sportswear. It fits great, has the potential for being worn comfortably a long time on many days, and for keeping one warm and dry. It's just perfect.
