Rated 5 out of 5 by Great buy The coat met all expectations on the quality, function, fit and price! I would recommend this coat to everyone!! April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well worth the money I would have paid more for sure, but I got a smoking deal!! Great fit April 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice coat I needed a coat that was lightweight with some warmth so I ordered this. I like it but not in love with it. The material wouldn't be my first choice if I could have felt it first. The front top pocket is too small for a cell phone so I'm not sure what to do with it. the coat Fits nice and is comfortable. Rated 5 out of 5 by A Very Good Product I purchased this product to help keep warm during winter bicycle rides during very cold weather (10° to below 0° F). I wanted a product that would provide warmth without adding bulk. I have The Interchange Winter coat with the Omni-Heat liner and also Omni-heat underwear, tops and bottoms, and Omni-Heat ski pants. I tried the winter coat on a cold ride. I was too warm and worked up a sweat on a 0° day. It was too warm for this type of work. That drove me to look for a less bulky product that would go over my under layers. The Omni-Heat underwear is fine but only into the teens, temperature-wise. I like the Omni-Heat insulation design. It works very well and does indeed keep one warm. This product works as I had planned. The fit is good, but a bit large. Others have complained about the coarseness of the fleece. It is coarse but washing as instructed will make it softer. Try that before rejecting this coat. I believe the coarse fleece is necessary to allow the coat to breathe and expel moisture. The coat needs a windbreaker over top to allow it to work in even a mild breeze at these temperatures. I always ride with a Gore Riding Wear jacket as my outside layer in the winter. That supplies wind breaking function and still allows moisture to escape. I liked this jacket so much that I purchased three more, one for each of our daughters and one for my wife. They will work great to carry in the car in case of a winter breakdown. February 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket This is an amazing jacket for the price. I use to wear NorthFace all the time. I wanted to try something different and I am very pleased with my Columbia jacket. Never will I buy NortFace again. It's true to its size and very warm. Oh and did I mention it's super light also. February 1, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not quite what you expect !? Ordered this based off experience with the omniheat lined interchange jacket i bought a year ago. Plus, its comfortable in and of itself, an like any omni heat product need zipped up and worn for a bit for best comfort. Minus, no extra liner and protection against wind, granted not many fleeces are any decent at this but at this price i do expect a little better from columbia. Odd, as previously stated the outer weave/design feels a little 'stiffer'/more open than you would expect from any other fleece (or like the onmifleece from the jackets which is more traditional). So far i do like it, glad i bought it on sale though, it works excellent as a extra liner for my other jackets and as a lightweight jacket for when i'm working in a 50/50 degree building. Decent product just be watched out for what you expect January 7, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by material was not what we were expecting I own a couple of women's fleece jackets which have the Omni-heat lining. I was so impressed with the warmth (without the weight!) that I wanted my husband to have the same. The only comparable jacket I found was this HOT DOTS II jacket. When we received it, it was an instant dislike for both of us. The material is not anything like a traditional velvety fleece. I cant understand why Columbia does not offer a normal fleece jacket with the Omni heat lining just like they do /did for women. This should be a basic staple in your merchandise line-up each year. We sent it back and are hoping that maybe next year someone in design will wake up! October 11, 2014
