Men’s Mighty Lite™ Box Quilt Jacket is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket I purchased this jacket to wear in chilly weather, but was happily surprised once I received it and realized how warm it actually is. I even wore it on a trip to Wyoming where it stayed below freezing the entire time. I'm sure there are warmer jackets out there, but the light weight and the mobility this jacket gives you, makes it a much better choice for me. The price compared to all the others I looked at made it an even sweeter deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works right I own a 5? year-old Columbia Rodeo Magic II 3-in-1 parka, and my wife set the interior jacket on an iron and melted the zipper and a bit of the lining, so I purchased this as a replacement liner until I find a new Columbia jacket in a model/color (orange) combo I like. Anyhow, my parka was a Titanium branded "active fit" model. The liner was pretty snug. This jacket is listed as "modern classic" fit, and while it fits fine inside the Rodeo Magic shell, it is noticeably a much roomier fit. Not sure if Columbia sizing has changed a bit. I have always worn Columbia mediums, and some in the past have been almost too small for me, while this one seems almost too big. As I said, it fits properly inside the older shell, so that is consistent. As for the performance: I have worn this jacket both inside the Rodeo Magic shell and on its own in mid 20s to low 30s weather over a cotton sweatshirt and it was certainly adequate for the weather just walking around. I also wore it with the shell while sledding in the same weather, and got pretty warm. I'd say the warmth level was comparable with the omni-heat and 80g of insulation as my previous liner that was no omni-heat and 100g of insulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great travel jacket... Simply put I was stuck in 20 degree weather and had this jacket to depend on... It did its job.... I had a t-shirt layered with thermos and a scarf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from overall This jacket truly states and is warmer all the way to 28 degrees after that you might need to wear a sweater. I was outside in a 1 degree weather wearing tank top, franel shirt, sweater, and the jacket and it was a bit cold. but when the temperature was 24 - 30 degrees was great without the sweater. love the colors, and the quality is super.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent value and quality keeps me warm, yet is light and not bulky. omni-tech really seems to work, I have another packable down jacket similar to this, and this is thinner and warmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from He loved it! My son who just moved to Northern VA hates coats but needs one in the winter here. I purchased this because it was lightweight and other reviews said it was warm. He loves it very much and it fits well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice light jacket This jacket was given to me as a gift for a trip to the smoker mountains in January. The jacket held up well and keep me warm while in 30° weather with a slight breeze. I would recommended that you get something a little bit heavier if you're going to be in colder weather or for a longer time as I needed to layer a bit for the jacket to be fully effective. Overall a great gift. Thanks Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Winter Jacket My hubby needed a winter jacket and I found this one and ordered it for him. He loves it! Told me that it was super warm. I tried it on and liked it and he told me,"no, you are not borrowing this. This jacket is mine!" So, I ordered myself a woman's jacket from Columbia that I love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! Fits well and is very warm! Perfect for a run around town lightweight jacket, or as an all important insulating layer! It is much warmer than expected, and is quickly becoming my go-to jacket!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Jacket Wore Jacket Saturday and the temp was 32 and raining pretty steady, very cold & damp. Great test and it performed well! Repelled the rain and jacket was warm. I recommend whole heartily. I'm between a XL and XXL, ordered an XL and it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Warm Jacket I ordered this jacket two weeks ago, not realizing that on the inside of the jacket was the Omni-Heat reflective coating. I primarily ordered this jacket because on the outside it wasn't "puffy" like other jackets that I've seen elsewhere and didn't want to look like the Stay Puf Marshmallow man. It's quilted squares, so it also looks nice on the exterior. Back to the Omni-Heat layer, with this I no longer feel cold in my core, especially living in NY. The Omni-Heat layer is also in the sleeves, so theoretically, you could just wear a short sleeve shirt and probably would stay warm from your radiated body heat. A great jacket at a great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light but heavy duty Amazing how warm and functional such a light-weight jacket is. Nice to layer over a sweatshirt or sweater in winter and fine by itself in low fall temperatures. No problems with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good above 40 degrees in Chicago This will be perfect for early spring Soccer and practices, no bulk like a fleece but a ton of radiant heat. I'll probably have to take it off between 1/4's but I'll be toasty waiting to get back. A nice alternative to a raincoat/fleece when it is raining.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from -10 to -15 tested and it keeps you warmest I purchased this on sale, got for 59$ including taxes. I was skeptical about the size , usually I wear M size t-shirts . After all checks I see Small size will be fine for me. So it went perfect too. It runs little large if I ordered M. Product arrived and winter at Chicago started. very lightweight , my friends were telling it will be good for summer bro not for winter.. Truly speaking I wore just one t-shirt and this jacket at -10 degree it keeps you warm for sure. In Chicago winter I am not buying anything else than this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Lightweight Jacket I'm happy with the product because it is very true to make keep your warmer body and a bit expensive. I tested it like 20-30f temperature outside and still keep warmer. It is really great technology and only lightweight. I cannot believe it. I do not like huge/heavy jacket. Good quality jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first impression I haven't gotten to wear this jacket extensively, yet. But so far, I love it. It's very light, warm, and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight and warm This is a nice jacket. Purchased in August and when my husband put it on he immediately started to sweat. That's a good thing. This Light weight jacket will keep you way warmer than you think it could. Great technology Columbia. It's a bit boxy which means you can fit layers under there. I would recommend this jacket for those soon-coming cold winter months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neat jacket to take on the go… I purchased this jacket because I needed a quick and easy go to for errands and travel. I love how flat/thin it it folds. Easy to Tuckaway in a backpack or travel bag. It fits relatively close to the body with enough room to breathe. It is a straight cut jacket with very little room to give at the bottom if that's a concern for you. I am 5'10" 195lbs. I found the jacket to be warm enough at 30° with light layering and a scarf. my only suggestion for improvement would be to have some type of adjustable sleeve closure – Velcro or string.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit large and long The jacket looks good but is a bit longer than usual. It is also too loose for me. Maybe active fit would be better for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket - Great Interchange Liner I didn't even really need this jacket, but it was only $55 on Black Friday and it has become an integral part of my regular outerwear. Just a few days before ordering this Mighty Lite jacket I received a fleece Ten Trail jacket for the sole purpose of using it as a liner for my Heater Change shell. Well, since I received the Mighty Lite, I never use the Ten Trail. The box-quilting on the Mighty Lite isn't as flattering as other quilting styles, but the jacket fits well, is really light-weight and is fairly warm to about 20-degrees. The Mighty Lite is a fine jacket on it's own, but with the Mighty Lite being full zip-in 3-point Interchange compatible, it turns my Heater Change into a wind resistant, waterproof, double Omni-Heat lightweight winter coat that is perfect for snow blowing and snow shoeing. I purchased it in Collegiate Navy and it is a nice, dark blue color. I'm glad I bought this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wearing a cloud This is a very light yet very warm jacket. It's my go-to jacket down into the low 40's. Extremely comfortable and light. You forget it's on sometimes. I'm 5'8" 160lbs and the small fits like a dream.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect medium weight jacket I bought this primarily to use as a liner for my 3-in-1 interchange jacket which has a softshell liner and it works perfectly with my shell. As a jacket on it's own, it's perfect for cool to cold temps on it's own (20-40 degree range). Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mighty light box quilt jacket Great jacket. Makes smooth transition from cold outside to shopping inside. The waterproof aspect is also wonderful. You also could wear this under a coat for extra insulation. Love this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmer than expected. Bought this jacket on cyber Monday since the price was basically cut in half. This jacket is much warmer than expected for such a light weight piece. Quality is good not great, the fit is a little baggy at the hem but the adjustable cord fixes that. The omni-heat interior lining traps heat incredibly well. So if you're sitting indoors or in a car with the heat going this jacket gets too warm in a hurry. Outdoors this isn't much of an issue. I cannot comment much on the functionality of the jacket yet. I've worn it casually a couple times and a few times over my gym clothes, for me it's been great. Knowing what I do now I would gladly pay full price for this jacket. It's worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Omni-heat Mighty-Lite perfect combination Purchased this jacket for my 91 year old father. He needed a jacket that was easy to get on and off, lightweight, but would also keep him warm. Columbia's Omni-heat technology and mighty-lite fabric was the perfect combination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good lightweight synthetic jacket This good-looking, flexible use jacket fits well, and is long enough in the body to provide good protection. The silky quilted format works better than the clingy fleece zip-in liners. Fits easily into my other Columbia shell jackets. Columbia consistently delivers decent quality at a competitive price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels light on you AND keeps you warm! Had it for more than a week now and absolutely love it so far. Perfect for the ever so unpredictable Michigan weather. I love the fact that I can wear it in any weather and not feel uncomfortable. The only problem is that the sleeves run a little too long for me but overall I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lightweight, but keeps you warm For me, this is an everyday jacket for cool and cold weather here in Texas. We don't get the snow but we do get in the 30's often during the winter, and this jacket works well for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Southern CA Winters Living in San Diego, there is no need for a full down jacket. This does the trick. It's light enough to wear before the temps begin to fall, and you can easily layer this jacket. The omni-heat lining feature is a nice added bonus. For the sale price it's a steal, not to mention I was able to couple this with a 30% coupon. No brainier in my opinion.
Date published: 2015-12-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! I was skeptical about the omni-heat feature as I had never used it before, however, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I bought this jacket. Omni heat works so well that i have stopped wearing an underlay and just go out in the cold with a t-shirt and the jacket. My only critique would be that generally Columbia jacket sleeves run half inch to an inch longer than they should be for a medium size. This makes the sleeves look slightly puffy. I have tried many Columbia jackets and that is what I have noticed on all medium sizes. Other than that this jacket is great and highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great inner lining! Earlier this year, I order the the Heater Change jacket and, admittedly, I was pretty disappointed because I didn't get what I thought I was paying for. That was my bad. This jacket, however, is exactly what I was looking for and it zips into the existing Heater Change that I bought previously. Let me tell ya, the two of them together make for one heck of a winter coat! I go out with just a t-shirt and undershirt (a-shirt) on and I am perfectly comfortable when, with previous winter coats I have owned, I need to do layers to stay warm. Seriously: the Mighty Lite and Heater Change together make for the best coat I've ever owned. They are both water repellant, which is super handy for living in Iowa, where it's just as likely to be freezing rain has it is snow during the winter. In addition, they are both pretty much wid proof from what I have experienced. All of this mixed with the Omi-Heat thermal reflection keeps a person very comdrtable, even when the wind chill gets way down there. And, in Iowa, there is plenty of wind chill to be had. I'm looking forward to getting some gloves and maybe a hat! Bring it on, winter!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket I own. First jacket I have owned that goes from cold outside to in the store without causing the need to remove my jacket. It breaths well, is so light weight and works in multiple conditions, from chilly to short exposures to pretty cold temperatures. After using my, I purchased ones for my wife my dad and even my mother in-law.
