Rated 5 out of 5 by Men’s Millennium Burner Jacket This jacket is 100% worth the money, is warm, well blocks wind, and it looks very fashionable (I have red). Checked it during the winter in the mountains of Vermont at very low temperatures March 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Jacket I live in MN where the temperatures drastically change. I've worn the jacket in -11, rain/sleet/snow. Today is a tropical -4 and the jacket keeps me very warm, especially when doing any activity, skiing or shoveling. I really like the fit, feel, style and over-all performance of this jacket. Keep in mind I live in a place that the average temperature is colder than your freezer. We are a bit more seasoned and acclimate to varying temps. February 12, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too much room inside but nice coat This jacket is very big inside, too much room, but then again I'm a slender person. Other than that this is a very nice, warm coat. I would recommend this to anyone who isn't on the slim side. February 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice and fashion jacket. We bought this jacket for my husband. We live in VA, so it's perfect for our weather. I guess if we travel to Canada I would get something more heavy. This jacket is light, warm and good looking. The fabric is soft but not easy to rip. It fits true to size. February 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Men's Burner Jacket Super light weight men's jacket with exceptional warmth. -10 below with extreme windchill and kept husband toasty warm which is super important as husband recently finished chemo and has been chilled due to weak immune system. Highly recommend this jacket. February 6, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I expected The Men’s Millennium Burner Jacket was sent to me to replacement a previous jacket that had a zipper that was deemed beyond repair. Unfortunately in comparing, the Men’s Millennium Burner Jacket did not measure up. The hood is useless unless it's covering a helmet and the zippers allow too much air to infiltrate the jacket, especially in cold, windy conditions. As a sideline technician for NFL games, I find myself in weather condition that can be really challenging with out the proper gear. This is NOT a go to jacket (even with an underlining fleece) for this Sunday's game at Green bay . January 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Warm but not very supportive. I originally tried this on at the Columbia store at Mall of America in MN. The sales person fitted me with the XL. I bought online and have to say this fit is larger and looser than I thought and have been used to with other XL sized winter jackets. I have pulled the tags and worn but wish i didn't as I would have returned for L?? I am 6ft and 225 ibs. The hood is a bit of a bother as you cannot roll it up and tuck it into collar for more "neck support" and I had to remove as it seemed to just get in the way. The collar on the right side hits my chin and neck to the point where i have to pull it away more than i would like. I assume it will loosen up with wear?? I think the roominess would be helped if there was a waist drawstring to bring the coat in a bit at the waist. The removable powder shirt inside the jacket is a nice feature and when snapped at the front helps to provide more support for the fit overall. The coat is warm but the inner lining (especially with the sleeves) is very loose where it feels like it is going to pull out of arm when you take it off. I have worn nothing but shells with fleece linings for years so I assume I have to get used to this coat that is "all in one" without chance of adjustments or removal of linings. I hope to use very soon on the slopes where I assume it will prove itself? December 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coat Wore this in 20* Vermont weather and it was perfect with just a base layer shirt underneath it (actually had to open the vents). The jacket has a small amount of stretch to it so there are no tight spots in your back/arms when skiing. The sizing is perfect. With typical trends I need an XLT jacket, not with this, XL is right on the mark. Plenty of pockets and storage in the coat. December 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just arrived - Its great. Lightweight, warm and (I think) stylish To be fair, I have only had it for a day or so. I have also only tried it out at slightly above freezing temperatures (35F). Its great though. I know this will be fantastic in colder weather. The fit is actually a little larger than I am used to with Columbia, even though it says active. I am 170lbs and 6ft tall. I took a medium. The collar is made from some really soft touch material. Love it. The cuffs also have the same material. A little tough to slide up with a sweater underneath, but wonderfully flexible and warm. I zipped off the hood for now, but will probably put it back on for the really cold weather. PS. The process to choose a nickname is a little silly. December 8, 2014
