Rated 5 out of 5 by The perfect travel shirt? I bought 5 of these and went to SE Asia (Vietnam & Cambodia) for 2 weeks in August. Nothing short of air-conditioning is going to keep you from sweating, even when you're just standing there, but these shirts stayed comfortable all day. Even when wet, whether from sweat or water from a cooling towel around my neck, the shirts held their shape and didn't stick to my body the way pure cotton does. I like the mesh weave of this fabric better than the silky-smooth fabric of other "performance" brands and the polo style (i.e. collar) is appropriate for more activities other than exercise. The BEST feature, however, was that I could wash these shirts in the sink, hang them up on the shower rod or closet, and they'd be dry by morning and ready to go again. I brought a total of 10 shirts on vacation, but used these 5 over and over. August 27, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too hot The cut and fit of these shirts is nice, and I'm a fan of the colors. Unfortunately, they're too hot to be tolerable. I feel like I'm wearing a jacket every time I step outside. August 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great For Golf Very happy with this shirt. Has enough room in the chest and shoulders to enable me to get a full swing with a golf club without the feeling of binding or tightness. These are my favorite golf shirts. Wish it was available in a dark hunter green. August 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Polo Very light and breathable. June 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Golf Shirt These shirts have excellent appearance and texture. The fit is perfect. The only thing that I would change is to increase the SPF rating to 50. June 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another great product from Columbia! I just recently purchased this shirt. It was very comfortable and cool. The only issue I had was when my dachshund climbed up my chest, the shirt piqued from his nails very easily. Other than that, great shirt! June 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shirt Excellent quality. Very light and comfortable. Runs true to size. April 29, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nice, light but snags First off I have to say that I love the moisture wicking properties of this shirt. Working in South Forida, a moisture wicking shirt is a must and they got it right with this shirt. The major problem is with the construction and material used. Half way through the first day wearing my shirt, it was completely ruined with 4 huge snags right in the front of the shirt. U also noticed multiple small snags all over the shirt. I bought 2 of these shirts and have not worn the other one in fear the same will happen to it as well. I expected a higher quality product for the price. April 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Comfortable Shirt runs a little small but still very comfortable and cool. Will go for the XL next purchase. April 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit, low maintenance I own 3 different colors of this shirt. They are great. Low maintenance. They dont wrinkle. You can pull them out of the closet or drawer or suicase and throw it on. I can wear it 3 or so times before it needs washing as well which comes in handy when you travel. I am 5'10, 170lb and i wear the medium. Its not too tight but doesnt hang off baggy like. Slim fitting. March 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Thats good and breathable t-shirt. good or size fit for me January 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works for me Medium fit me as I expected - very comfortable. Spent time in Asia and it wicked well. My only concern is possible snagging due to weave although I have not had this happen. I have most colors and all have same look and feel. December 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed by website reviews Words cannot describe how disappointed I was not only by this shirt, but my entire order from Columbia. Of the five items (four shirts and one pair of shorts) I ordered specifically in time for a trip to Phoenix, only two were wearable. This shirt does not run "slightly small", it runs almost very small. I thought Columbia was selling to Outdoorsmen and athletes? Why are these shirts so small across the shoulders and chest? July 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by sleeves sleeves too short and too wide February 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this Shirt I am very particular when it comes to my polos; it has to fit properly and the buttons have to lay in a certain way. It seems as though not all mediums are created equal; most mediums are actually large. This shirt fits perfectly, meaning that the sleeve seam sits on the shoulder, and it is structured so it does not look like I am wearing a tent. It is also very comfortable and light. I like the shirt so much, that I plan on buying every color. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Polo so far Very nice fitting Polo shirt. Hopefully the material holds up well after a few washes, but so long as it does I will be ording more. October 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has an athletic fit. This is an excellent product that has an athletic fit. Most products of this nature always seem to run large; even for a men's small. This product is the perfect fit. It is neither too loose or too tight. The color is excellent. I have received many compliments on this item. October 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this Shirt! Glad that I was able to get a pass to visit the ES and try on this shirt prior to ordering; I usually wear an XL in just about everything, sometimes a L depending on the brand. I noticed that the XL in this shirt runs small for my liking, So reluctantly I tried on the XXL and it was a great fit. Maybe someone in the factory got the sizing mixed up :) The shirt moves well, breathes well with a great feel and look. I ended up buying 2 in the store and 1 on-line. October 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by poor fit Poor Fit Very tight under armpits. Sleeves very short September 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Utilizer Polo I originally bought one of these in the store as a gift. I ended up going back and getting one for myself then ordered two more online. I really like the material and the weight of the fabric. Quality product. September 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great These shirts a comfy and breath. I wear them for casual dress at work and golfing. I love them! September 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by You will love this shirt This was one of 4 shirts in my order. The other three were the Skiff III T-shirts and the fit was so different and had to be returned. Washes great without creases. Ideal for the traveller. September 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable, wicking material. At age 59, I prefer to NOT wear a cotton t-shirt underneath my casual clothing. This shirt fits the bill, the wicking material absorbs moisture, and keeps me dry. I had skin cancer removed from my back in January, and am intrigued by the SPF attributes that Columbia integrates into its shirt design. Great colors, comfortable in warm weather. I am 6'0", 200 lb. Large fits me well. August 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shirt Mountain color is great. Shirt very cool with good mobility. Will probably get more in other colors. July 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good to Excellent but Columbia Logo Black I'm currently wearing the white Utilizer. I'm very impressed with the way it fits. One of the best shirts I've ever owned in that regard. Can wear it tucked or untucked just fine. My only gripe might be that Columbia's logo - a fine logo - is not inconspicuous. The white shirt appears to have a white or even gray logo, but it's actually black. It really sticks out. It's a good shirt for someone who doesn't mind advertising for Columbia. On the other hand, the quality is so good, I don't mind bragging. July 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cool shirt - snags easy Nice shirt, cool fabric but gets small snags easy June 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great comfort and style These shirts are very comfortable and stylish enough for a dinner or night out. June 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these shirts! These are great shirts, and I liked them so much I bought a few in different colors. This is a nice casual shirt that goes with jeans or khakis so it can be worn on casual Fridays, relaxing around the house, or out on the trail. Made from a super comfy fabric, that's sure to please. I hope Columbia continues to make this product line for a long time! March 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by versatile shirt This is a very versatile shirt. I can wear it to our grandson's sporting events and also when my wife and I go out to a casual dinner. I am 6' 3" and I like my shirts to fit a little lose. I find that a 2XL meets my needs. I would recomend this shirt in most of the colors avaliable. Big Ed March 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable, lightweight shirt This line of shirts are extremely soft, comfortable, and quick-drying. The mesh-like pattern is prominent, but not so much as to take away from the style or quality of the shirt. The only negative of this line of shirts is that, due to the open weave of the material, small pulls will form relatively quickly but not so much as to render the shirt unwearable. February 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good material and all around good polo This Polo style is THE BEST. I have several of these. My only suggestion is: make it a 3-button polo versus two. Three button shirts are slightly more professional looking and in the winter time wearing an undershirt underneath them for a little more warmth works better with 3-buttons (getting them off and on when layering). Another request would be: add some more color selection to these NEW UTILIZER style: maybe a few more earth tone colors. I wear polos to work almost everyday. This style would work great with company logos or uniforms. January 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cool duds Everything I've bought from Columbia is top notch. Love this shirt for work in the cubicle jungle. October 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Columbia sizes seem to be inconsistent between products On some Columbia shirts a Large fits me well and on some a Large does not even come close to fitting. On this shirt I ordered a Large and I am having to send it back to get an Extra Large. October 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Its a polo I have an older Utilizer Polo that has a larger fit than this one, more like the sizing for the Perfect cast Polo, but there wasn't any need to re-order. The material is snag-prone, and it can be difficult to swipe away dry particulate. However, for a cheap synthetic polo that does a decent job of wicking away moisture the price is right. August 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfort and Function I had originally bought this shirt because, I liked the style and feel. After a month of wearing this shirt I decided that with the all around versatility and it being summer that we would buy over a dozen more because they worked so well during the hot days at keeping you cool. All of the employees really like these shirts and I see us buying more in the future and we look good too. August 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by TennVol This is an excellent product. Comfortable, lightweight, and appealing. June 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by good shirt good shirt, nice material June 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great outdoor shirt This is so much better than the traditional cotton polo. The shirt dries quick and stays comfortable despite the southern heat. So far after numerous laundering, the colors are hold well. Would strongly recommend this shirt. June 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best polo...EVER! I truly love these polo's. They look great, they're comfortable, and don's seem to need to be ironed. You keep making them, and I'll keep buying them! June 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shirt! I have several of these polos and love them. They fit great and look great too! I am a bigger guy and they fit me well. True story about how wonderful they are: I was attending an annual meeting social event outside with food and beer. Hundreds of people everywhere. I had a dark beer in a cheap cup. The beer ended up spilling all over the white shirt. I didn't know what I would do. It was a white shirt with a dark beer. Not good. Then I remembered it was Columbia. I excused myself, walked over to an area with no one in it. Poured some water on the spill. Rinsed it off, ringed the shirt out and put it back on. No one was any more the wiser. The shirt still looked great and dried in minutes. I love these shirts!!! June 13, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sizing is off I ordered two of these shirts in a size large and while I like them, one shirt was much smaller than the other. Both shirts are made in Indonesia, and both are labeled L/G. How can there be such a deviation between shirt sizes? I had to send one back because the fit was too tight, while the other fit comfortably. Don't know what else to say on this one....??? I'd recommend the shirt, but would caveat by saying pick your size wisely, as the shirts seem to run small. June 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Overall Shirt! I wear these shirts to work, and throughtout the day they keep me cool and dry. They are professional enough to wear with any pair of khakis. Everyone compliments me on the various colors, and how well the shirts fit. I liked the old, but I think I like they new utilizer polo even more. June 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Polo!!! Best polo I ever bought. Very comfortable and fits perfert. June 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very happy with function Very happy with fit & function of this shirt, fits well and washes up nicely May 23, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Looking, But has Fabric Issues I have three of these shirts for my job. They are great colors, look professional and are the most comfortable collared shirts I own. Unfortunately the material seems to fray easily, say where a seatbelt will rub against it on a long trip or where a golf bag will hang from the shoulder. These frays turn to runs that make the shirt unwearable for business meetings. I've lost two shirts to these issues that i cant wear to meetings. But at least I'm pretty well dressed for mowing grass. Other than that I love these shirts. May 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Utilizer Polo Good shirt with great fabric. It breaths well and really does keep you cooler when you are outside. The only downfall that I can really say for this shirt is that it tends to run one size to large and of course doesn't shrink in the wash, so my advice is to get a size smaller than you usually do. Otherwise Awesome shirt. Now if only they came in more colors. May 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great purchase! This is a great product! I bought it before traveling down to Texas this month. Even in wearing a regular cotton t-shirt underneath, it was still comfortable when the temps went into the 90's! Great job, Columbia! This wasn't my first product from you, and it won't be the last! May 17, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Oversized This shirt is seriously oversized. It is cut VERY wide and not at all fitted, resulting in a very boxy, sloppy look. If you are at all slimmer or athletically built, I strongly suggest ordering one size down to get a proper fit. The material is quite thin and light and would probably be very comfortable and cooling in hot weather (no personal experience because I returned my shirt due to the poor fit). I recommend staying away from white because it is a bit transparent due to the thinness and would be totally revealing if caught in the rain. May 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and looks great I bought a shirt before going on vacation and absolutely loved it...the feel, the look. Other people commented, "Oh, hey, I like that shirt". I ordered another one online when I returned home. It's $50 a shirt with shipping but I think it's worth it. I'll space purchasing more out but I'm going to have one of every color eventually. My favorite shirt hands down. May 4, 2012
