Men's PFG Backcast™ Pant
Pretty awesome pants.
These pants fit and feel great. I am 5'8" and weigh around 175lbs, the Large fit my 36" waist perfectly with room to move around a little. The exact fit I was looking for. I opted for the 30" inseam to wear these barefoot or with sandals on exclusively. Otherwise I would have gone with the 32" to wear with boots.
The brief on the inside feels ok, nothing special there but reminds me of wearing swim trunks when I was a kid...aside from that there is a drawstring on the inside too, which the description doesn't mention. A nice touch for those thinking that this is exclusively an elastic waistband and may not want to buy based on that.
The pockets are all good sized, the back pocket has a nice zip closure for those items you don't want to fall out, and the little lower "carpenter" pant pocket (as i'm calling it), fits an iPhone 5C with an Otterbox case perfectly!
The PFG throws me off a little bit, as I don't see why they didn't just leave that out (i'm not a fisherman), and it saying that on them makes people who don't fish not want to wear or buy stuff that says "it's for fishing" in.
These pants are a summer weight for sure, and actually look very sharp by themselves. I plan to wear these at a beach wedding this summer. The "Fossil" color is a nice natural tan, blends perfectly with beaches, dunes, or desert environments. The "Cypress" color is a lovely mossy shade that would be great in any forest, jungle, or mountain range. (Get both).
Other than that, these pants are really great, lightweight, packable, and affordable! I highly recommend, and will be buying the other color as well.

Perfect lightweight pants
These pants won't keep you warm but they do a great job keeping the sun off. Great for fishing, hiking, or yard work.

very good spring/summer sport wear
Excellent fit and classy enough to wear out socially - likely to buy another pair to dedicate to golf.

very good product....just what I was looking for
These pants are really comfortable and look good. I like the cell phone pocket on the side. It doesn't have a flap or zipper on it, but works for keeping my smartphone in place and out of the way.
These are a very light fabric and I would not recommend them for really cold mornings unless you wear long underwear with them. They are a relaxed fit so they look a little baggy but give you plenty of room to move.
Already bought a second pair in the fossil color as well.
Only reason I don't give these 5 stars is I just bought them and I don't know how durable they will be in the long run. I do a lot of fishing and other outdoor activities so I want products that wear well over time. That will be the true test. I have Columbia shorts made of the same fabric that have held up well for years so I expect these pants to do the same.
