Men’s Prime Peak™ Softshell Jacket is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile I purchased this coat or use while fishing. It breaks the wind very well which contributes to your overall warmth. This coat also does a good job of keeping you dry during those long boat rides where Saltspray or light rain can be a problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Men's Prime Peak Softshell Jacket Fantastic late summer or fall jacket. Works well as an extra layer for those cold winter days. I would recommend this jacket to anyone that enjoys outdoor activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome all around jacket Great jacket for rainy weather to cold up north snowy days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality. These jackets are paper thin and zipper is flimsy. They would not hold up in any outdoor activity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for running. The cuff tabs need to close the opposite way; they are awkward. I'm not sure if it was a misprint when they called this product waterproof, but definitely I would like to have all my softshells, wind shells, down jackets, and fleece layers DWR-treated but with no waterproof membrane.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely poor quality Extremely poor quality. Looks great. But after 3-4 usage , you start seeing the material giving out fibres. Wherever the material touches it starts giving out fibres. Like the hands will touch on the left and right side of the pockets which has chains , those areas you will keep getting fibres out. Very bad quality . I know they will not even take my complaint hence I might just throw it to dustbin. I would never recommend this jacket..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size that fits me This product had just the fit for the layering that I need for winter time sports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around jacket This jacket is very universal in that it keeps you very warm and is wind/waterproof. The water beads off the jacket keeping you dry through rainy days. Perfect for cool days in the spring/fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this jacket I bought this jacket for around town in those drizzly Portland days. It works perfect. It blocks wind well and sheds light rain no problem. It is a much better fit than the Ascender II that I had previously looked at. This is a little bigger and longer and seems to have some design improvements. It is my everyday jacket for this Pacific NW weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a better Ascender jacket The Prime Peak is a step up from the Ascender... better fit... fabric feels a little lighter than Ascender... but still kills the chill and has the same tall collar that keeps wind out effectively... bottom hem cinch keeps warm in ... Great for casual wear or outer shell for trail/bike. It sheds water well up to heavy drizzle. If it gets too warm, stuff it in your pack (sheds wrinkles and washes up great)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Men’s Prime Peak™ Softshell Jacket Size: I followed the size measurement chart and calculated a medium fit. For me that size was too form fitting and not a very relaxed fit. I would recommend that any size people calculate on their own should go up one size. Build: The pockets come with over-sized zippers. I found them to be bothersome just reaching in and out for anything. The major design flaw is the zipper and pocket size because they allow for a significant amount of wind draft. I can only recommend this jacket for what it's use says: trial, and travel. I intended for a more casual kind of use that would be good for wind and rainy weather. If you don't mind how the pockets are in this jacket then this is the one for you. In the end, I returned and found another jacket that better suited my needs.
