Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Overall Excellent quality and fits very well and the sleeves are perfect in the tall but the body is 2" too short. It is well-made and will probably wear well. I bought it for an Alaskan cruise. I kept it since I got it for half price but if I had paid full price for it, I would have sent it back because of the body length. I weigh 190 and am 6'3" and bought the X-large tall. March 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great jacket! I love my Rain Tech 2 jacket. It's super dry and super warm, sometimes too warm. I wear mine alot while kayak fishing in the fall- its light enough to wear layers underneath and not feel so bulky, but its keeps me warm and dry. March 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rain Tech II Tall Fit is right on. I'm 6'7", 265 lbs. I got a 2XT. The arms of the 2XL are too short, these are perfect. It's not terribly warm, but then it's really an enhanced waterproof windbreaker. It repels water. February 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket for Tall Guys I haven't had this jacket out in the rain yet, but I do have a parka with the same Omni-Tech that has never leaked a drop in two years, so I'm assuming the same quality will be in this jacket. What I can speak about is the sizing and fit. I'm 6'8" tall and about 220 lbs. My sleeve is usually 37"-38" and my dress coat size is 42-44 X-Long. With all this in mind, I bought the Large Tall and am more than pleased with it. The chest size is perfect for someone of my stature and the sleeves are actually long enough for even me. It is fairly warm for such a lightweight jacket. It is true that the sleeves and hood are more of a gray/silver while the body is black (in other words, not like the picture), but it makes for a very attractive jacket, in my opinion. Very nice over all and one that I would recommend. February 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice ski shell found this jacket to be very well made. February 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great weight for track season As the title states, I bought this for track season. Used it last weekend and it was great. The inner lining kept my body heat in and the outer layer kept the wind out. Just wish it was cut like the Steens 2.0 fleece...this jacket is a little small, but not bad. February 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2XL Tall - fits awesome and is very functional I love this coat. I am 6'6" and it fits perfect. Thank you Columbia for your Tall men's support. Love the omi-heat, it has to be the best product of the century as it does exactly what it says. February 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Order 2 sizes up I am 1xt all day on Columbia size charts. I ordered 2xt and am barely able to get a sweatshirt on with it. dont plan on layering. I should have a 3xt tho. February 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm wet weather jacket above 32 degrees fits well, solid construction. with a hoodie under my husband has been warm even on these single digit days February 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome jacket if you are always cold like me!! This omni-tech jacket fit me perfectly, and I am 6'5". I love that this omni-tech system really does keep me warm, including my arms, without being a bulky coat. The water proof / wind proof part is also fabulous. It is really a great all around jacket; and I got it on sale. Yay!! January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket... a little small though I purchased this jacket to have a rain coat with some lining for warmth. I didn't get to wear the jacket because it is small. I did like the weight, quality and color of the jacket. I would reorder but the next size was not available. January 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This great product should be longer I am a female that purchased for myself the male jacket. My reason for purchasing the mens jacket was because I wanted something longer that would cover my thighs a bit. This is a fantastic jacket, I dont have the bulkiness which makes it difficult to drive with it on. My only complaint is that for men and women you should make a jacket like this that is longer so that our legs will stay as warm as the upper half. Other than wanting this jacket to be longer, I have no complaints. I am from Florida so being in Colorado was a shock in regards to weather. This jacket makes me feel right at home now. Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally a Tall with arms that are long enough! This is a great looking jacket and the Tall has arms long enough to fit my son well. He is 6'4" and has had trouble finding a nice lightweight, jacket that actually comes to his wrists. This jacket fits him perfectly. December 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great rainjacket, but... I ordered this jacket in the Large-Tall size and it fits me great (6'5" w/ average build). Sleeves are plenty long and all seams/workmanship are top quality. Omni-heat lining works better than I expected. Your wondering what the "but..." refers to? The color isn't exactly what is depicted on the website pictures--I ordered the "black" and in the online pics that jacket looks completely black with perhaps some dark dark grey fabric on the body of the jacket. The actual article is 'true black' on the body and a sort of 'textured gray' color on the sleeves. The sleeves are more of a medium grey color when viewed against the rest of the jacket. It's still a very sharp looking jacket, but not what I had expected and not all black. October 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Product has great quality I am very happy to get this jacket. It fit perfect. The quality was great and never get wet. July 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great versatile, fashionable, multi-functional product! First of all products run pretty close to sizing, I suggest stepping up one size if you intent to layer clothing, a bit snug otherwise.. Great torso & sleeve length...completely universal, light weight, and hi-tech. Good color choices in lieu of khaki, black & blue. Warm & light weight, a great traveling companion! The hood could be a roll up design or hidden. A great product.... April 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish tall sizes I bought this jacket for my 21 year old son who needed a good rain jacket to wear walking to classes in our northwest weather. He is 6'3" with extra long arms and this jacket fit him beautifully! The peat moss color is young and stylish enough for a hip college student plus it keeps him warm and dry. January 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Men’s Rain Tech II So far this appears to be a nice jacket. It would be nice if it was USA made, but I realize that would raise the price. I've worn it at night while walking, during wet weather in the 50's. The lining does work well. You don't realize it until you come back inside and instantly get hot. I was fine at about 50 degrees with just a t shirt, while active. You might need more if not active. The bad side about the lining is that it will probably make you hot while active above 60 degrees. Also, the lining transmits the cold through to your skin by touch, if you have short sleeves on. But that can be avoided with just a long sleeve t-shirt. I'm almost 6' 3" and 170. It's always hard to find a size that works, so I appreciate the tall sizes, which most companies don't do. I got the tall large, but it is probably longer than needed. It comes down to about the crotch and the sleeves leave about an inch of my fingers showing. But you can velcro the cuffs. A standard large may have also worked, but I kept the tall size, because it's better to be too long than too short. December 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fit to function Purchased this jacket recently and very satisfied with fit and quality. I have very long arms and the jacket fit perfectly in the sleeve length. November 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great function and form This jacket fits great with the plus size man. Warm in wind , rain, and sudden weather changes, perfect for the extreme changes of weather. I also enjoy the selection of colors. October 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sleeves too long Didnt fit well...sending back. August 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by not your summer jacket i don't like to complain, but i sweat in this jacket. I wore it while commuting on my bike and perspired 5 days strait. I tried it with arm vents up and down (by the way the zipper is backwards, you zip up to open vents), lighter shirts, etc but to no avail. Waterproof part is fine but early spring/late fall to wear while riding. May 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Product - but not perfect This is a nice jacket. I am tall (6" 2") and tall sizes aren't usually long enough in the body and/or sleeves. The body is long enough to cover my rear and the sleeves are more that long enough. The only issue is that unless you zip the jacket all the way up the collar doesn't stand up and doesn't fold down nicely (and stay). I do not mind it but the hood can't be tucked in either. Additionally I chose the black one but it is not black it is actually black in the body and more gray in the sleeves and hood. If you can get around these few things it is a nice jacket. May 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rain Tech II It has been several years since I purchased a jacket and I am very pleased with this one. I love the Omni Tech for the warmth, it allows me to wear lighter layers underneath so that on extremely cold wet Oregon days I'm not restricted by 7 layers for warmth. The Rain Tech beads the water and it rolls off without soaking through. Great quality jacket, thanks Columbia! April 1, 2012
