Great for kayaking and paddle boarding. I own a business where I lead kayak trips and then also rent paddles board, kayaks, and bikes. I wanted a pair of good looking shorts that I could wear around the shop but then also deliver rentals in. It is still winter here in Michigan so I have not tried them in the water yet but I am really excited to test the sun protection on some of my long day paddles. The fit is awesome, just the right amount of coverage and length. The material felt nice and light. Which i like because it gets hot kayaking and paddle boarding. Already considering getting a another pair. April 2, 2013

How to measure

Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
