Men’s Trail Summit™ Beanie is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact but warm I got this for walking and biking to work. It fits under my helmet. Good for cold but not freezing weather. Nice and stretchy

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay product I did not find the Omni heat to be effective, and if so, marginally. It is a comfortable beanie and it is okay for temps in the 30's but not below that and of course it is not windproof, so that is quite limiting if you live in breezy country. I like the MH windproof, but it runs small also. Just FYI

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great winter hat but tight fit I love the fact that this hat keeps me warm but not hot. My only concern is that it's super tight and looks like I'm wearing a swim cap. It should have been design a little looser/ snug. It's like my head is wrapped in a sausage liners. Looks funny but keeps me warm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hat is TOO Small I have a small head and the L/XL is too tight, I don't know what guys with normal or big heads would do this manufacturer needs to make these hats true to size I ended up giving it to my 12 year old granddaughter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cap This is a nice cap to have if you need something to wear under your snowboarding/skiing helmet. Or, if you are going to camp out in the cold. I don't recommend it for an everyday cap. It does run small so keep that in mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good hat I've used this hat twice so far on my runs and has kept my head and ears nice and toasty. It hasn't been too cold her yet, 20 degrees is the coldest that I've used it for a run so far. I ran a 15 mile run and the hat came up a little bit but not enough to uncover my ears. Fits snug which is nice to keep my headphones in. It's very light weight and could easily be placed in a pocket for storage. Great hat so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too tight Cap is far too tight. Columbia should go tagless in all its products. Surprisingly warm for such thin material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Good one for winter. It keeps my ears warm

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little Small First, this seems to be VERY well made. I have a buzz hair cut. I ordered a large, and it is tight (shower cap tight). To be fair however, I think "tight" is the whole idea behind this hat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Tight This beanie is lined with Omni-heat fabric. If it was less restrictive to the wearer, it would probably suffice. It is considerably small even for the L/XL size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice beanie for the weight I haven't had a problem at all with the sizing. I have a size 7 1/2 head, and the fit is "snug" (think of a competitor fit, "UA"), with a L/XL, not tight. I've worn it for extended periods with no sign of headache. It's meant to stretch, kind of a compression fit for your head, with light, stretchable material. I've looked everywhere for a beanie that will cover my WHOLE ear, and this is it. It is very light. You can stuff it in a front pants pocket, and forget it's there. My only complaint is that it isn't warm/wind resistant enough. While it is fairly warm, the lack of the omni-heat material in the lower area (which covers the ears) is a problem. That, and there is almost no wind resistance to the beanie. I plan on using it for some CO 14ers, and wind will be a factor above the treeline. Overall, not a bad beanie for its weight. I'll hang on to it and bring other options if needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extremely tight The cap is comfortably warm and wind resistant. However, I ordered the largest size available but it still fits quite snugly, and I have very little hair and an avg. size head. I'm hoping that as I wear it it will loosen up a bit but after 1 1/2 weeks of regular use, no luck yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cold weather! The size is right and the omni-heat liner keeps my head nice and toasty even when the temperature drops. Highly recommended

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Workout Hat This really covers your head, ears too! I primarily wear this for working out, running, cycling, etc. Great hat to wear under a bike helmet. Only issue I have is wearing glasses as head movement tends to affect wearing glasses. Not too much, but enough to be noticed. Easily washed and dried, best advice: wash on delicate cycle and air dry. Does run small.
