Men’s Tumalt Creek™ Jacket is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Tumult Creek Jacket. Very comfortable, kept me warm although the winter was short. The omni-heat was a nice touch, does what it suppose to do, keep you warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! I bought this large, marine blue coat. Absolutely fantastic coat. Very warm, works well with layers. Extremely light so much so it doesn't feel like it would be as warm as it is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Warm I bought this jacket to layer under a shell for cold and snowy or rainy weather. Aside from the fact that I noticed it smelled of perfume and sweat (unfortunately, only after I got it home), it did not perform well as a layer. I suspect that the primaloft got compressed by the light shell, therefore it didn't provide adequate insulation. Since it says "interchange" on it, I think that means it's supposed to be made to use as a layer, but it certainly didn't work well in 20 degree temperatures. It'll probably work as a lightweight jacket in moderate weather with no precipitation, but not as a layer in cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday jacket I would recommend and buy this jacket again over every time. I originally ordered this jacket in deep water, but it had a construction flaw. I contacted Columbia customer support and they took care of the issue in 4 days. I have worn this jacket almost everyday since receiving it. I would comfortably wear it alone with a tshirt under it in 35°F weather. With the omni heat technology it doesn't really matter the outside temperature, it holds in all the body heat that is normally lost with all other jackets. I liked this jacket so much I bought my wife the Mighty Lite III and she loves hers as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite what I expected The jacket is not as warm as anticipated. Not recommended for below 32 without a long sleeve shirt AND sweater layer. The cuffs are relatively open and not at all tight to the wrist. There a couple of loops near the sleeve ends that make me believe this more of an under layer than a "jacket".

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Different Expectations I purchased this jacket, because I thought it would give me a bit of warmth with the Omni heat and insulation within the jacket, but I was wrong ! I went to work one day and it was raining so I thought I would put it to use. Repelled water well, but after the jacket dried I immediately noticed polyester seeping out from the seams of the jacket. Was very disappointed, but I thought maybe it's normal. Wore it again. This time I was in 30 degrees F, had a sweatshirt underneath and a scarf. I was still freezing! Didn't stand up to my given expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket Very lightweight but still warm. Not bulky but can still layer underneath. Would recommend for everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super light and super warm The jacket is surprisingly light both in bulk and weight. I know the description said so... but I was still surprised. Packs into it's own pocket, which is really handy to clip on your backpack and save space. Great fit with enough room in the sleeves for layering. Overall very happy. Can't speak yet for how cold I'll be able to handle, but I expect this will be my primary jacket this Fall and Winter.
